I see. It does seem to have that effect on people. Cait says calmly though she is surprised. She can't help noticing immediately the differences between her friend Gin and this new personality. It's stronger, more confident.

My apologies Tenkai no offense was intended. And your correction is noted it won't happen again. I knew of Gin and Jester already I was unaware that Gin wasn't the original personality since he seemed to be the dominant one. I take it you let him think that? Cait says with a tilt of her head her expression merely curious.

Phedra to Tenkai. I do what I must as my honor and duty demands. And she is my friend. That alone makes her worthy of being protected by me.

Cait says. Is there anything we can help you with Tenkai? I take you awoke because Gin wasn't strong enough for this?

[Takeda]

Takeda approaches some more, but keeps back from Phedra and Cait. No sure how Phedra is feeling and not wanting to put her in a position where she feels threatened by Takeda behind her.

Takeda bows a respectful nod at Tenkai and waits patiently, the empty beer can gripped loosely in the tips of his claws.

Ayu'lesh looks a little confused, and backs up suddenly as he leaps in the air and twists around. As she steps back her heel slips on the sand and she lands on her backside in the soft sand with an "Ommph!"

~tenkai grins at cait though on par with the rest of him it is feral and confident~ "I take no offense for how could you know since not even the idiot reliezes that is mearly a fragment. and you would be correct in your assumption that i allowed the idiot to remain dominant i even altered the memories he could access to make him believe that he was the first because you see i rather detest dealing with people and i saved the right to one take take vengence for my self"

~nodding to takeda he looks at phedra with intriuge~ "honor and duty color me impressed for when i receeded i believed in neither though i do now it is still rather foreign. it is easier to protect a member of ones pack though and as odd as it seems the idiot considers you all as such though he believes that not one of you him included is alpha"

~looking at Ayu'lesh he sighs~ "do try and keep your footing in fact try running and call it training, if i feel like it i will aid in your growth as a warrior, snd continue to ponder his question"

~sitting down he takes off the gear examining each item~ "the idiot really has no grasp on class does he these weapons wouldn't strike fear into an pups heart much less a grown beta or even an omega. where is the symbolism of death, he might as well just fight with his hands"

You are most gracious. I see that would make relating with others more difficult. I take it then you are only staying as long it is neccessary for you deal with what Gin couldn't handle?

Vengence? On who may I ask?

Cait intrigued since this is the first she has heard of this. I know from some things Gin has said you had a brutal past. One no one should ever had to have gone through. There is only sympathy, kindness in her voice.

Cait glances at the others. That's perhaps because we all are in different ways.

Phedra shrugs. You haven't met the right people then. Where I come from they are normal it is the other way that is odd. She laughs at the alpha comment. Because we are all Alphas. Except the young one and that is only because she hasn't been trained yet in the warrior ways.

She looks Ayu'lesh then back at Tenkai. She has much yet to learn in all things. She hasn't had the chance to show what is she capable of when she was in her former life. Given time and guidance she may become a great warrior, an honor and credit it to us all.

[Takeda]

Takeda continues to watch silently, not quite sure what to make of yet of Tenkai.

Ayu'lesh still sitting on the sand raises an eyebrow to Tenkai as she looks up at him with her very blue eyes;
"Running? training? you want me to run around and "train"... "

She pauses and considers this a moment, then goes back to looking at him with one eyebrow raised as if she is still puzzled about this;
"Is there something particular about the running I should be concentrating on or just general running about?"

~tenkai looks around his slightly enlongated pupils locking on cait~ "you are correct i'm only around because the idiot proded me enough so as soon as he is strong enough i will receed again till i decide to awken on my own terms"

~letting out a full blown and extremely malicious laugh tenkai's eyes fill with murderous intent~ "why vengence on the people that started this hellish ride that is my life. in fact that idiot running on altered memories doesn't truely comprened the past he never even experienced" ~though he smiles slightly at the sympathy in her voice~

"true we are different " ~looking at phedra he laughs~ "i avoided people so maybe i didn't meet the right ones, hmm all as alphas an intriuging system but seeing as no one is dead i see very little reason to question it or its effectiveness, so i guess that this child will require training to run in this pack."

~looking at Ayu'lesh he narrows his eyes examining her~ "perhaps she will perhaps she won't the only way to know her true potiential as a warrior is to push her till she breaks and try her in battle test her in the hell fire that we have all experienced"

~turing to face Ayu'lesh he drops a hard glare at her~ "because from what i've seen you've lived in a abnormal enviornment with weaker gravity and smooth surfaces. running here will radically test your ability in a sprint the sand will slow you slip away from you and engulf you. now run this is the start of your physical training and at the same time contemplate what is most important about wielding a blade, and when your running try to adapt sand it as hard as snow to run in"

I think I understand. You only come out to protect him from something that he or Jester can't handle on their own and when that is done you leave again. You are only biding your time until you find the ones who did this to you. Is that correct?

I see why you would want that. When you have done that or if they are beyond your vengance what then? Or have you not thought beyond your vengeance? Her voice is only curious not condemning. In response to his next statement about altering Gin's memories. Logical under the circumstances. It is to protect yourself as well as him I would think.

Then to Phedra, Ayu'lesh and Takeda. I would caution you all not to say anything about what Tenkai has told us about Gin or himself without his express permission. He has good reasons for keeping some things from Gin and we should respect them.

She looks at Phedra. Your word of honor, Phedra.

Phedra nods. Yes. I will respect his wishes on this.

Phedra to Tenkai.

It depends on the situation who leads. We each have our area of expertise. She glances at Takeda and her next words shows she holds no grudge about what happened earlier. On the ship and matters pertaining to it. Takeda is leader as is right. Also anything to do with his people.

Cait on matters of music, healing, The Force, diplomacy and dealing with others. She gives a mischeivious glance at Cait when she adds. And cooking. Cait laughs at that.

With me matters of security and protection. The young one has not yet developed to her true potential.
And you already know about Gin.

Then in regards to what he says about Ayu'lesh
she adds.

That is because you didn't see what she did in the marketplace on Tython to test her boots. But to her it was nothing extraordinary or remarkable as she didn't mention it to Takeda when she told him about our shopping trip but I tell you right now it was both. I have never seen anyone but a Sidhe or Force user run that fast and not be even winded at the end of it. She has extraordinary agility and dexeterity as well. She will make great warrior it she gets the training she needs to become so.
I should know I have trained enough of them over the centruries with not half her abilities.

Takeda nods in response to Cait's question;
"You and he have my word on it"

Ayu'lesh shrugs;
"Of course, I won't say anything; it is not like I even can pretend to understand this anyhow."

As Phedra mentions her little impromptu performance assessment of her new boots, she looks away, a little embarrassed by the praise.
"I think this is a good time to start that training..."
She takes a strip of fabric that she had been using as a kind of sash to help secure her belt and holster, and takes her gifted sword and quickly and deftly ties it to the top of the sheath, puts in a loop bight over the handle to secure it and then laying it across her shoulder ties another to the bottom of the sheath. In just a few moments she fabricates a quite secure rig for carrying it across her back, then sets off jogging down the beach.


Having been paying no heed to them, or they to him, Dweezel starts moving towards the ship from where he had been parked next to the small burial mound. His head swivels around towards Takeda and calls to him not in the usual series of droid language but in a grating voice;

Takeda blinks at the droid for a moment, and watches him head to the ship. After a slight pause he works it out.
"He is certainly fired up about this place, something is out there calling."

~looking at cait he cocks an eyebrow~ "again i will state i'm only awake because the idiot decided to prod me enough to wake me up knowing that my presence surpresses them both, with my guess i'll be awake till we leave this planet. though the aura of it is intriuging to feel"

~he stops for a second his hand touching his chin in a mock thinking posebefore he levels his gaze on cait even with the amused look in them they are still dipped with killing intentions~ "after my vengence what ever would i do, hmm maybe i'll sleep forever, maybe i'll stay awake for a time, maybe just maybe i'll ally myself with a faction. yes i have thought about the after but i cannot choose till it is accomplised or till the idiot decides on a course of action."

~glancing around he grins~ "you have my thanks for agreeing to keep some secrets, though it is more because i do not need him to be hampered by the information if that weighs on his then someday he'll get me killed"

~glancing at phedra he shrugs~ "like i said i have no questions on the inner workings of this pack, though the idiot is a poor mockery of what this body can really do"

~looking straight at phedra he laughs~ "you've never seen the idiot running full tilt have you since i'm betting that he could keep up inpart due to his genetics or mine really the other part the training he did which ened in him wearing an excess of 500 pounds on his body, even though he can only draw on around 33.34% of what this body can perform"

~looking as Ayu'lesh as she starts to run he laughs~ "if you'll excuse me i need to strech a little"

~leaning forward his muscles visibly coiling as his hand touches the ground he blasts forward kicking up a cloud of sand with his first step as he dashes forward catching up with ayu'lesh~ "follow me and keep up trust me you do not want to fall behind" ~as he kicks it up a notch reaching a slow jog fo him his feet padding softly as he runs in his animalistic method passing her~

Cait to Phedra when Ayu'lesh takes off running to start her training. I think you embarassed her. She is not use to some one thinking well of her and telling her she is doing good. And certainly not having someone praise her.

To Tenkai.

I'm sorry if I seem to be repeating myself I just wanted to make sure I understood what you told me.

I see. On the whole I don't usually agree with taking vengance as it is usually a waste of time and talent that could be better used elsewhere.
Then I'm not a warrior but a healer. Though I can understand the removal of someone evil even if it means their death to prevent greater evil from happening.

But where slavers are concerned I would not be unhappy if the whole breed of them disappeared and never returned, ever. The galaxy would be a lot better off without them and the suffering they cause.

Phedra to Tenkai. Indeed? I think we haven't seen all that the cubling can do either. If she is like this untrained.

No, I haven't seen him but I have seen Sidhe warriors in battle. And know of which I speak.
You spoke of sand and snow to the cubling those are no impediment to a Sidhe they can walk those surfaces without leaving a trace of their passage.

She then points to where Cait had walked leaving no footprints in the sand.

Perhaps not but then we will see won't we?

She nods when he says he needs to stretch a little. She then watches him try to out run Ayu'lesh. This ought to be interesting to say the least.

Cait to Takeda while Phedra is talking to Tenkai.

What's wrong with Dweezel? Then in response to his comment about Dweezel being fired up. Oh? How so? Calling? Is that rather unusual for a droid to hear?

Takeda watches the little trashcan-droid head back up onto the ship.
"Well, he thinks we spend too much time talking, I think that was meant to be insulting. Also that there are a few more things to get rid of on the ship; and that... he is either getting messages from heaven, or that there is a signal he is picking up from orbit.

You will have to excuse me, my Rakatan is not very good.

Oh? Cait says in an amused tone of voice and a raised eyebrow. She then chuckles. Well it is better than mine which is non-existent.

Though with him being a droid I would vote for the signal from orbit. As far as I know they don't believe in heaven.

Phedra in the background gives a snort of suppressed laughter.

[Takeda]

"You are probably right, Cait that one especially, I cannot see him having a beleif in anything other than spare parts and... well you get the idea."

Takeda turns his head back over his shoulder as he follows Dweezel onto the ship, giving Phedra a look of bewilderment at her chuckle.

Meanwhile, down the beach a bit.

As she jogs along enjoying the sight of the waves as the roll in onto the sands, she hears someone running after her and looks back over her shoulder. Seeing Tenkai approach at speed, watches him pass her and call back to her. With her feet gleefully in new shoes, real shoes at that, and on solid ground, she cannot help but smile. For the first time in her life she does not have to run, she can run simply because she enjoys it; and nothing is going to take that away from her. Besides, he's male... they always have something to prove don't they... might as well let him just have the satisfaction and enjoy herself in the meantime.

Cait follows Takeda into the ship. Phedra looks after them trying to decide whether to follow them inside or go for a run herself.

Cait says to Takeda. Yeah, I get the idea. I agree spare parts sound more like something he would believe in. Where did you get a droid that speaks Rakatan? Why don't you upgrade him so he can at least speak Basic.

She says to Phedra. What's so funny Phada?

Phedra with a chuckle says. A droid believing in heaven. Do you need me Cait? I think I might do a run I haven't had a good run in ages. The ship isn't big enough for one.

Sure Phada, go ahead just don't freak out Ayu'lesh and Tenkai. You might want to run in the other direction from them.

Phedra nods and runs off in the opposite direction from the others took. She shifts into her natural form as she goes.





A large, a very large cat. She stands five-foot at the shoulder, with foot long,saber-like canines, paws the size of large dinner plates and claws to match, twelve foot long body if you don't include the four foot of tail. She is all strength, muscle, bone, claw and teeth.

She runs in long, loping, ground eating strides.

~Tenkai looks back at Ayu'lesh who appears to not even be trying slowing to keep pace with her he looks at her his irritation showing as he glances back estimating around the distanced covered to be around 400 yards. feeling a flare of strength from gin in his mind he hears a single work echo through his mind inventions sslowing he glances at her~ "since you seem to be lacking the serious drive to prove your supierioty i will head back" ~he points at the blade~ "meet me back there when you've finished enjoying your run i need to make preperations anyway, so take your time besides being on soild ground is something to enjoy so have fun before we begin the torture"

~glancing at her he hears a small echo of inventions in his mind again taking a second he spins the clock back on gin's thoughts seeing an idea that he had while they were entering the atmosphere~ "well i'll be he actually came up with an invention that holds a degree of symbolism" ~yelling at Ayu'lesh~ "run till you have an estimated 5 miles then dash as fast as you can back"

~leaning forward his muscles coilling he dashes forward hitting his top speed in mear seconds his smooth animalistic running replaced with an extremely aggressive attack like charge compairitively large sprays of sand kicking up behind each of his steps, nearing cait he slams his feet into the ground slowing down to a degree before launching into the air in a series of spins as he lands on all fours facing the direction he came from before looking around stopping on cait~ "where did takeda go to i have an inquiry that might just prove to be of use in the near future"

"Dweezel has been with me since his last owner."
He tilts his head in the direction of the little mound down closer to the shore of the sea in indication.

"It was originally his. How the droid speaks Rakata, I can only guess at fully, but it has something to do with his main memory module.

When he first came with me he was obsessed with trying to upgrade himself; he still is to a degree, but I think he is more stabilized for now. The moral of the story, is shortly after he started traveling with me he tried an upgrade and shorted out his actuators, I had to rebuild him myself. That is when I discovered "DWZL"

He reaches down in the sand and draws a very odd looking Z or 7 with a curvy tail and a mi character serif, a fragmented box with 3 dots in it, a doubled J shape with a ^ hat and an set of umlauts, and a single flanged line with a series of 3 dots. (*these would look approximately like the aurebesh characters for D W Z L if you squint really hard...maybe*)

"That is what is inscribed on his memory core, it was only later that I found out it was Rakata lettering. He does not think it has significance other than a part designator, since it is not a word in Rakata. So his processors come and go, but that thing remains. Once he tried to download himself into a larger more modern storage core, but he was not the same and certainly not as handy with the ship, so I put it back in him.

He has told me several different versions of how he came to be with his former owner, the planets differ and some other details and the time-frame gets a bit twisted around as he tells it, but in essence it boils down to the master over there led a small expedition to go retrieve him.

The consistent elements are; that R style body of his is not anything like the original, Dweezel claims he was taller than me originally. His old body was broken and trapped somehow under some city or ruins of a city, never clear which. The master, went and dug him up, he had originally wanted to retrieve the whole body but it was too big or something for them to remove, so they took the core and other components and put them in a modern droid body. Thus, we have Dweezel.

And now he is hearing things from orbit. I better go check this out.

Takeda shakes his head as he watches Phedra change and run off.
"Good thing stays in her other form when she eats... I would never get enough roast when you cook otherwise."

Takeda heads up the ramp just before Tenkai arrives in a flourish.

Ayu'lesh watches as Tenkai pulls ahead and then slows enough that he can speak to her without having to yell at her. She listens and wonders to herself what the need is to prove her superiority, after all isn't it a moot point, they are Jedi and trained warriors or something, and what is she compared to them. But all the same she smiles and nods to him politely, he or at least the other one of him at least is a nice guy and she likes him, well the other one at least. "Uggh" she tells herself, now she is getting confused who he is.

She swings wide and runs out onto a sandbar right to the very end of it so she is mostly surrounded by lagoon side of the atoll, she looks back at the ship about the time as Tenkai arrives back...
"Well, he is fast I could not outrun that... well not flat out.

She grins with a little satisfaction though.

"My landing would have been soooo much better though"

I see. She says then when he finishes. You have an interesting droid there. I wonder what kind of droid he was like orginally. And why the Rakatan wanted him so badly to come looking for him. He must be more than he seems. I agree that would be smart.

She glances over at Takeda when he mentions Phedra and laughs. That's for sure. None of us would get any roast or anything else. Speaking of I need to check on the ham. I wouldn't want it to burn.

She starts to follow him when Tenkai comes back.

Cait watches Tenkai's slamming launch then his series of spins before he lands near her, she says.

Impressive.

Then in response to his question. Takeda? He just went in to the ship to talk to his droid about a signal that it picked up coming from orbit. I was just going to check on dinner. He should be in the cockpit if you want to talk to him. He would be interested in anything that you have that would be of use.

She waves her hand in the direction that Takeda went. He went that way.

She then walks into the ship's galley to check on dinner.

Phedra having run quite a distance turns around and starts her way back.

[Takeda]

As Takeda is crossing the cargo-hold the engines begin to hum as they spin up, he starts moving more quickly to the cockpit and finds Dweezel getting the ship ready to take off.

"What in blazes are you doing? I never told you we were taking off! I am still the bloody Captain!

Dweezel's head rotates 180 and the flat monotone voice issues forth again;

After taking a moment to work it through;
"Fine!, fine... just let everyone get back aboard before we take off, what were you going to do go into space with the back ramp wide open?"

Takeda heads back to the back ramp and yells to all.
"Get the lead out and get aboard.

Dweezel is really upset by something in orbit, we need to check it out. For all I know we might be sitting ducks down here."

Ayu'lesh after making her comment starts to head back at a brisk jog, but when she hears the engines ramp up she starts double-timing it back to the ship. She is almost there by the time Takeda steps out the back and bellows for them all.

[Gin Xyrin]

~standing up from the landing Tenkai nods at cait~ "Thanks" ~and starts slowly walking to the ship intent on talking with Takeda but kicks it into high gear when he hears the engines start~ "I'll be an killed by some pup before i get left on some sand ball of a planet"

~reaching the ship in a mear moment he stops sliding on the metal due to his shoes being caked with an excess of sand~ "what in the blue blazes is happening" ~his voice a frustrated growl~

~glancing around he sits down and randomly scratches the side of his head with his foot~ "from my guess this was not your work was it"

[Takeda]

Takeda looks over at Tenkai as he scratches himself... odd, he has never seen a human do that before...

"Not exactly, the droid has found something up in orbit, how worked up he is about it is making me concerned if there is something more to it than just a random signal from wreckage. So as soon as Phedra and Ayu'lesh get back we will go take a look."
