[Takeda]

He listens to her words, and pauses before continuing. As she calls him a cubling, he resists the urge to rise to her frustration, instead maintaining his composure, it in itself illustrating his point much more clearly that her obnoxious comment.

"Your concern for her does you credit, but what is resulting is putting you in a state unsuited to your duty. You must calm yourself, remember she is a Jedi and an empath, the strength you waste on such antics, and distress you raise in yourself, could drain her more. By your very words, she takes care of those around her without question or consideration of her needs.

Warrior you may be, but your service to her is lacking in this case. I speak not to chastise you on it, but to make you aware. The fact you take umbrage to my words, indicates you are growing complacent. As one who has served in such a capacity to a Dai-dono, a "prince" being the best translation I can think of, I know of what I speak. I am also confused, why would a veteran warrior pass up a chance to learn another view? Hmmm... it must be a cultural difference."

Phedra growls but his comment that her actions might be draining Cait pulls her up short. Her eyes narrow in thought. Perhaps, you may have a point there.

She listens to his next words with a half-scowl but it is obvious his words have struck a chord with her.
She then unexpectantly bows and apologizes.

You are right Warrior Takeda. I am the one who has been acting like a cubling. I apologize for seeming to discount your words because you happen to be younger than I am. You are very wise and a true warrior. I thank you for your forbearance and patience. A true warrior is always willing to learn. It is not so much complacency as worry.

She glances at Cait. It worries me that she tried to go on this trip without me or another bodyguard to protect her. Her parents would be most upset if they knew that she had tried to sneak off alone without protection.

I know what she is. It is you who do not. She puts up a hand. I mean no disrepect in that. She is more than just a Jedi Master and more depends on her being kept safe than you know. She is just starting to come into her power she will grow only stronger if she is allowed to develop that power and she doesn't overtax her strength.

She nods. You understand then that serving royalty is never easy and keeping the heir safe is even harder.

[Takeda]

Takeda tilts he head to the side in contemplation. (Equivalent to raising an eyebrow, a trait Kwa to not have, nor the facial muscles to do so.)

"Her parents are most diligent, her and her brother travel with quite the entourage... I think I misjudged the nature of your role, and her status. Some day, I hope to have the opportunity to introduce her to my Clan Lord and to my uncle. Ah, this is where they are... on a moon in a barely charted system. I wonder if it was a exploration ship, both they and us are quite far outside normal space. There are not a lot of people out this way to respond. We should go and assist, it could take days for other aid to arrive, what do you think Phedra?"

Indeed they are. Phedra half smiles. Not as many they could have Cait insisted on that. She said she didn't wanted to be tripping over them and having them get in her way. Myself, Eleyn and Aine she said would be plenty for anyone. She would enjoy meeting them I'm sure.

What system? Phedra leans over to look over his shoulder. Hmmm...that's odd. I wonder what they are doing way out there. Before Phedra can answer his next question Cait says.

You know I can hear you two. Phedra unusual for her blushes. Cait then asks Takeda.

If they are asking for helping we should go and help. What system is it in Takeda?

[Takeda]

Takeda swivels around to Cait and answers the both of them

"That is the seriousness of it, it is not a known system, nor even a pre-exploration designator. It just has it's coordinates and a marker, THX-1138"

Cait shakes her head. Never heard of it. Phedra's nose twitches. Me neither.

Cait asks. What is the closest system to it? How long will it take to get there from here?

[Takeda]

Takeda shakes his head.

"Other than here, the next closest known and charted system would be Zonama Sekot, It is over eight hours of travel, and I could be miscalculating that, I will get with Dweezel to see if there is a better hyperspace path or that my calculations are correct. We were very lucky I tripped over a good set of charts, and with the adjustments Dweezel made from his old data, we are talking weeks to months of difference. Another set of rescuers would might be 3 weeks arriving there. This is how far out of normal lanes we are, and they are."

Close to Zonama Sekot? Cait shakes her head. Why do I get a very bad feeling about that? She gets a slight shiver. I hope it is only my imagination but I hope the Yuuzhan Vong traditionalists aren't behind this.

Phedra frowns at the mention of Zonama Sekot and the Yuuzhan Vong traditionalists. Not them again.

She nods. I would talk to Dweezel about that. Cait smiles. Charts are good things to have. 3 weeks? That long? I hadn't realized we were so far out. What are the coodinates? Corey was thinking of joining us but if we are that far away it might not be possible unless he knows a shortcut.

[Takeda]

Takeda hands her a datapad with the coordinates.

"I hope he has good astrogation charts... wait, you want to bring him here? A place by your own account seriously instilled in the dark side? I would have to question that, or did I misunderstand you when you spoke of his difficulties previously?"

Cait takes the datapad and looks at the coordinates. She memorizes them and then hands the datapad back to him. Thanks. She then gives the information to Aine the coordinates and the marker # THX-1138. She says to Aine to tell Corey that the closest system to it is Zonama Sekot.

At his question about having Corey come to Lehon she gives him a "do I look crazy" look. You misunderstood. I told him to meet us where the distress signal is coming from not here. This is the last place he should come right now.

[Takeda]

Takeda nods.

"Sorry, I misunderstood you. I will go talk to Dweezel and see what he can tell us. It should not be long before the galley is finished."

[Gin Xyrin]

~sighing in his meditation he feels a single sentence minate from gin~ 'something is happening. we need seperation' ~his thoughts are weak and incompleate barely able to drift from his mind into tenkai's due to the sheer difference in mental presence but their meaning is as clear as day~

~opening his eyes tenkai slams one hand on the side of the ship with a heavy thud pulling himself to his feet he looks around his eyes exuasted as he stalks around to the front of the ship his normal confidence replaced with a exhaustion that his pride would normally never allow him to show. walking into the ship he sits down and looks at takeda but projects his voice for everyone to hear~ "so what is happening the idiot says something feels wrong. then again he's been like that from the time we landed here" ~rubbing his eyes with a sigh he asks takeda~ "can you contact Dweezel to see if what was requested is finished, i need a minute to collect myself"

~with that his head slams back against the wall he was leaning against his eyes closeing ever so much as an almost inaudible whimper escapes from him~ "this was never in the plan"

Cait give him a smile. It's alright Takeda. It happens. I rather you question me on it than I miss something important. That is good news.
She closes her eyes a moment and rubs the bridge of her nose with her fingers. I need to rest soon if I can.

Phedra makes a concerned noise and says. I knew it. You over did it, didn't you?

Cait shakes her head. No, actually I didn't. It's this place. All this darkside energy is draining because I have to keep up a constant shield against the negative emotions that are rampant here. Besides how do I get stronger if I don't push my limits on occasion?

When Tenkai comes in Cait notices he looks exhausted. You are alright Tenkai? You look like you could use some sleep.

[Takeda]

Takeda goes into the control room to talk with Dweezel, as he exits the ship he notices the droids are just completing the repairs and packing up.

About 20 minutes pass and Then Takeda can be heard walking back to the ship, for those in tune with it his footfall sounds odd... almost heavier than previously. What is more perplexing is a moment later he can be heard talking to the departing droids and grumbling, but it sounds like he is still outside the door to the ship, though his footfall is approaching the cockpit.

[Gin Xyrin]

~looking over at cait tenkai sighs~ "i'm fine just a little exhuasted" ~he contemplates for a second his eyes looking away for a moment~ "i was searching through Gin's memories apparently he has been able to surface and get insignificat memories i have no control over" ~he chuckles~ "he's crying out for individuality from me"

~looking back at her one more time~ "I'll sleep when we leave this place"

~his ears twitch slightly as he hears takeda's movement but he can't place what the abnormality to them is~

[Takeda]

As Cait, Tenkai, and Phedra talk and relax, "Takeda" walks into the cockpit and takes a seat at the controls... to familiarize himself with it.



After a few moment he turns, apparently noticing the other people.
"Greetings"

When "Takeda" comes into the cockpit Cait gives him an odd surprised look.

Phedra nose's twitch at his metallic smell and her ears lay back in surprise.

When he speaks.

Cait blinks and then answers in return. Greetings. You are the droid Dweezel was going to send, aren't you? May I ask your name?

[Gin Xyrin]

~hearing the droid enter his eyes shooting to it deathly aware of his conditions as his twitchs towards his slugthrower as a growl at his own weakness escapes him~

~hearing the droid speak and cait ask its name he stays his hand dropping it back to his side waiting for the droids answer~

~looking around he raises an eyebrow~ "where is takeda as well"

[Takeda]

The droid bows a curt nod to both Cait and Tenkai in turn. It is apparent Dweezel did a good job of programming the mannerisms of Takeda.

"I have not yet been assigned a name. The unit you know as Dweezel provided me some suggestions, I may have to choose one of those for myself... Nothing that Takeda has said since I was introduced to him has been fit to use as a name, at least not in mixed company."

Droid turns to Tenkai,
"He was following me, but I think he stopped to rail on the workers. Ah, you must be Tenkai... I am to inform you your ship is ready... oh, sorry, Takeda is supposed to inform you your ship is ready. It will be arriving from one of the other bay's shortly. I must say, Takeda is in a disturbed mood about this; as you well know the original intent was to head to Kuat to get a ship... However, you wound up with one, and he did not. I tried to point out that he did in fact get a planet out of the deal, however ... well I should not repeat what he said."

With a surprising turn, Takeda stealthily comes up to the doorway; exhaustion, the distraction of the droid, and the "new droid smell" must have precluded anyone noticing him approach.

"No, you should not... Now just you start setting the coordinates and relaying them to Tenkai's ship... Dweezel would of course have to get the last laugh in would he not?"

Cait says. I see. And you haven't chosen one yet? She can't help it but starts to chuckle at the comment of Takeda's language at meeting the new droid. She says with suppressed laughter in her voice. I can imagine. We need to call you something. Do you have a preference?

Phedra has doubled up with laughter but scoots out of the way when the real Takeda comes back in not wanting to be in arms length of him right now.

Cait says still with suppressed laughter in her voice. No, I don't think you better repeat that.

To Takeda. So we are ready to leave then? Because I would like to lie down for awhile. She starts to get up and sways a little on her feet.
