The next room contained half a dozen shyracks. Vixen's anger rivaled her arrogance. She didn't consider these blind birds as a threat to her. They were simply an annoyance and and obstacle that would be very quickly removed. Becoming quite confident in her telekinetic skill, she gripped them one by one with the Force and Force Pulled them towards her waiting lightsaber blade. She dispatched them easily.
As the pattern continued, the next room contained a puzzle that had to be solved. Once again the riddle was written in the language of the ancient Sith. Doroti helped Vixen translate the hieroglyphics. She didn't like what she had to do at all. She could feel the hssiss near the pool of water, yet she had no idea how to get to them. She allowed the angry fire of the Dark Side burning within her build into a cold rage.
Vixen had to set aside her weapons, strip naked, and completely immerse herself in the holy water of the pool. She did so and felt the Dark Side even more powerfully as she was completely submerged. She enjoyed the renewal and savored the refreshing surge of energy. She did not allow it to detract from her concentration and could feel it when the gates on the left and right of her opened and a hssiss began swimming towards her.
With no hesitation, Vixen kicked off the bottom of the pool and swam hard to the surface. She pulled herself up out of the water with both hands and rolled out of the pool as the pair of hssiss surfaced. Reaching out with the Force, she pulled her Oriolanis Striker into her waiting hand. It was with cold, calculated malice and contempt that she fired two shots as the yellow flame of darkness flickered in her normally hazel eyes. Two shots equaled two kills. Both were perfectly telekinetically aimed head shots. One for each hssiss that had dared defy her will. The first shot entered the closest hssiss through the left eye and tore through the dark side dragon's brain. The second pulled up, halted by the sudden collapse of its companion. The slug split its rib cage perfectly and punctured the heart.
Noticing that the door to the next area had now been opened, Vixen quickly dressed and gathered her weapons. Nothing was going to keep her from achieving her destiny. The contempt she exuded was almost palpable as she stepped through the doorway into the tombs innermost chamber and beheld the sarcophagus within.
