"This Kwa who has never stepped foot into Imperial space before seems to know my doctrine better than you, Grand Vizer." Ire says with a clam tone, the Empire has always stood for justice and the Emperor's Force sensitivity allows him to sense no deceit on the part of Takeda. The Kwa's mind is extremely quiet, either he had no brain or this is some kind of mental conditioning on Takeda's part. The Emperor can also quite easily sense what Skywalker feels for Ywalme, the Grand Vizer was showing signs of attachment but it is yet unknown to if this attachment is an attribute or a flaw. "And do not worry about your friend Lady Burz, she has been given quarters in the palace, even though she attacked an Imperial officer aboard one of the customs stations in orbit... I wonder where she learned that trick?
Ire's questioning insinuation isn't meant to silence the Grand Vizer, the Emperor looks at Kommisar who is also looking a bit quiet now that the thought that this alien was simply trying to help, and that once again today, his men have replied poorly to the situation. "Grand Vizer Skywalker, I want you to take your samples to Dr. Hazzilix and report about the undead Vong issue. I take it the undead have been dispatched?"
"Yes milord, the Yuuzhan Vong fugitive known as Lotva Shai used these creatures to pull a Sernpidal." Kommisar reports using a euphemism that was widely used after the Yuuzhan Vong's initial attack on the galaxy. "The gas giant went nova from the collision, I doubt anything in the system survived.
Ire looks at Takeda with intent, this being was strong in the Force, possessing the potential to become even stronger than most in his employ but how to take charge of this being -- could it be brought into the fold? Ire would have to find out the answer to these questions first hand. That is when the Emperor decides to extend the proverbial Alder branch. "Everyone but the Kwa, leave the room now."

Anakin shook his head, and said respectfully
"Milord you will find everything that you need to know about all this, on the datapad."
Anakin said motioning to the datapad he gave you. Anakin kept the rest of the reasons for their charges there ect. When Anakin heard Ywalme was at the palace he was pleased. When Ire added the last part he looked at. He wasn't sure what to respond to that, Anakin had only shared a few words with her. Anakin nodded when Ire asked him to take the same sample to the laboratory.
"It will be done milord."
Anakin was about to answer Ire's question when Kommisar answered it. Anakin nodded and bowed respectfully Ire asked everyone to exit the throne room. Anakin left the throne room and walked over to the laboratory.

This was a highly unexpected turn of events, he replayed the last few minutes over in his mind, and it did not make sense. Why would the Emperor wish to speak with him alone? If it was a matter of executing him, it did not make sense, from what he understood the enemies of the Empire were killed publicly, or at least not in secret so that the Empire itself could gain a sense of common identity. If he was to be shipped off to some prison world, it did not make sense either.
Takeda waits quietly as the rest of the entourage file out of the room.

With the room clearing, Kommisar gives his datapad to Cilla, who also clears the room, and wonders why the Emperor wishes to speak to the Kwa in private. Cilla, also curious who and what this alien is, leaves the datapads by Ire's throne and exits the room. Soon Ire and Takeda, accompanied by only two Carratosian Royal Guards, are the only beings in the room. Ire continues to sit in his throne, silently studying the Kwa in a veil of inquiry, stretching out with the Force to test the Kwa and see if he can sense anything else about this creature. "You are something that time and space seems to have forgotten, my friend. What do they call you?"

Ire may sense that Takeda is a bit confused or slightly nervous by the turn of events, but it is a passing emotion if any and fades as the Kwa speaks his reply.
"I am called Takeda, your majesty. I hope I am using the proper term, not all thigns translate well between Basic and Kwa."

In another part of the palace.....
After being escorted from the throne room Ywalme is led to her quarters in the palace. She tries not to gawk like some provinical tourist at the size and beauty of the Imperial palace as the escort leads to her rooms.
She is pleased when they finally reach her rooms that her things are already there and have been unpacked.
She politely thanks her escort at the door and after they leave she locks the door behind them.
She walks into the bathroom to take a shower and when she finishes, she changes clothes. Still feeling the effects from the wearing off of the stun beam she decides to lie down for awhile. Luckily for her the headache as finally disappeared and she is able to fall asleep.

-Back in the throne room-
"Well then Takeda, welcome to Carratos." Ire says with an eerily welcoming tone, he rises from his throne and walks over to the Kwa in a nonthreatening manner. Ire can still feel a chill in the air from earlier, he orders his guards to turn up the atmospheric controls before addressing Takeda further. "My men have the interests of the Empire at heart, although they might overreact in certain situations, they mean well."
Ire motions for Takeda to follow him as he walks around the grand room, the Emperor seeks to set the Kwa at ease over and worry it may or may not have. "I sense you are a stranger in a strange land, everything I have read on your kind indicate that you are supposed to be extinct. Where did you come from if you don't mind me asking?"

Takeda tries to stay relaxed, having the Emperor approach him is not helping the matter however. Lords do not simply take interest in those of lesser status unless they see an advantage for them, the quick of wit discern the meaning to their advantage.
Ire's comments on his men may be truthful, but it is doubtful that Ire fully read the report, nor that Anakin or Kommisar truthfully recorded it. During the pause as Ire decides to go for an impromptu stroll, he gestures for Takeda to accompany him. As Takeda moves to do so, he notes the height of the man and his bulk. Peaking his curiosity, Takeda opens himself to the force, studying the flow of it around the room. It becomes clear to him that there is a heavy presence of the dark side, this alone might explain some of his discomfort with the situation. It does not appear that Ire is the center of it, rather various objects around the room, as well as a "cloud" of it that seems to drift randomly; when he crosses near to the "cloud" of dark energy he feels a chill creep across his skin. If Ire is force sensitive, or some sort of dark lord like Palpatine, Takeda cannot get any sense of, but is left wondering why one would surround themselves with such objects... until he remembers the planet he himself so recently acquired.
Takeda turns and looks down addressing the Emperor directly now, and considered how odd it was that the man was shorter than him, he was used to looking up to the lords of his own race... or more specifically not looking up to them.
"It would seem the historical record is misguided, thought I tend to think that was done on purpose. I come from Tsunnaga, one of the 6... rather 7 planets of the Kingdom."
Takeda had seen the fleet surrounding this one Imperial world on the way in, and that was enough to not answer with full clarity. And while he took pride in the military power that the Clans could and would muster if faced with an invasion, the advantage the RGE possessed with its fleets would be enough alone to force surrender. Unless.... he cuts the thought off as he feels the darkside urge him at the continuance of that thought.
"There is over 1/2 of this galaxy that has not been mapped and charted, let alone explored to any degree. Since leaving my homeworld, I myself have encountered many things that were thought dead in antiquity. I am now finding it hard to believe in the vast spaces that things out of legend do not simply lie waiting to be rediscovered."
Takeda turns away for a moment and studies a piece of Carratosian artwork on display. He cannot decide if it is supposed to represent entwined serpents or a collection of tentacles, in either event, it is not particularly beautiful, and he now has a craving for something battered and deep fried.
"It is interesting circumstance brought me here, though in a less opportune way than I would have imagined. I had intended to come here upon returning from the Unknown Regions so I could properly register my ship and travel in your Imperial Space legally. I have a desire to travel to Dathomir, I have reason to believe I will find some answers to questions I have upon that world."
Takeda leaves the statement open ended on purpose, to see what the Emperor does with it... Let Ire begin to wonder what game is being played.

"I believe that something can be arranged for you to travel safely within the Empire." Ire comments as inspects the carving of Uhl'uhtc, a demonic being from Carratosian lore that many don't know about, the Emperor finds it curious that the Kwa stopped to look at this piece. Ire takes the moment to try and pry more information from Takeda with the prospect of getting answers quickly. "Its fortunate you happen to arrive at the palace at this time on your quest for answers, as it happens there is a Dathomirian envoy within these walls this very day looking to join the Empire. I should be able to facilitate a meeting for you if you wish?"
Ire looks at the massive Kwa and waits to see if his words spark some sort of response in the alien, the Emperor wonders what it is Takeda is looking for. "What answers do you think you'll find? you yourself have just said that you have encountered many things thought long dead, what is it you are looking for?"

Takeda nods and walks over looking at another sculpture, this one he cannot even fathom what it is supposed to be, but the lines are interesting at least. He looks back at Ire, and considers his words.
"Ah, how interesting, perhaps I will have to meet with them. I seek to find out more about the world itself, and wish to travel there.
Takeda picks his next words very carefully, the revelation that the inhabitants of Dathomir wish to join the Empire is a sticky one, but intriguing since he had come to the understanding it was already an Imperial world.
"To be honest..." always a highly suspicious phrasing, "I wish to discover if it was one of the worlds my people inhabited long ago. There are.... mysteries... that need to be confirmed or rejected. I am sure you can understand that, it looks as if you have done quite a bit of discovering here on your home-world."

"We have done a bit of discovering, most of the pieces in this room and throughout the palace had to be found and reclaimed from the lawless brigands who plundered this world." Ire comments while silently dissecting what Takeda tells him, it is clear to the Emperor that the Kwa is holding something back, the Emperor can tell that there is definitely more than meets the eye with this alien. This situation might turn tense in the near future if the Kwa return to the known galaxy form wherever they are and try to reclaim worlds, Ire might have not be able to avoid such a situation if it arises. Not wanting to pry harder and force an awkward moment , Ire relents his push for information , realizing that given time all things will play out appropriately.
"Carrtosians are a proud people, much like the Kwa from what I have read on them, they faced stability under the last Emperor and uncertainty when that Emperor died. The planet wasn't always a peaceful as it is now, I was forced to kill many of the pirate lords who claimed dominion of Carratos with my own hands. I have pride for this world, I was born here after all, and so do many other beings.
Ire's words seem nonthreatening but its clear that his words are a warning; mess with the Empire and you will die. Ire moves on to another piece that shows the history of Carratos; from left to right it shows the progression of the planet under Palpatine, the planet's height in galactic history, its plummet into darkness and disarray and finally its rise back to promise as the Imperial throne world. "I commissioned this piece to show that pride, what do you think?"

**Meanwhile in Zairon's room** The Imperial Executor sat at his computer glancing at various copies of reports and records he had been given. He sighed as he read another boring meaningless report. He kinda missed the days of being an Imperial Knight where most his duties resolved around combat, dealing with traitors, and other action packed adventures. He closed and tossed another datapad aside and opened another one and skimmed it. However midway through he stopped. This one involved the Jedi, he hadn't heard much about them in quite sometime. As Zairon read the report written by Anakin he made note of a few things. One, the Vong were apparently still causing trouble and two apparently they had captured a Jedi shuttle. Bored and hoping to find something interesting, the Executor ran a few scans on the shuttle and who it was registered to. A familiar name popped up, Hana Solo. Zairon chuckled remembering his time on Utapau where he had met the crazy padawan. After requesting whatever public information on her he could find, the Executor decided to head down to the customs bay where the shuttle was being stored and check it out. As he headed to the customs bay, the report arrived to his datapad. He skimmed it and noticed at one point she had been a smuggler. "Interesting...let's see what evidence we can find aboard her shuttle about the Jedi." Zairon mumbled as he headed to his TIE Phantom to take him to the station in orbit where her shuttle was kept. He boarded his ship and headed to orbit

Takeda moves over to examine the next piece of art, it is an interesting panorama, and quite well crafted, showing excellent details. The benefit is provides him a few moments to think and read between the lines of the Emperor's words.
"You are correct, the Kwa are a proud people. No, we never sought to conquer the galaxy, and we were mainly content to allow the Gree their own little enclave. What befell the Ancients was a terrible occurrence, as you well know there are still repercussions to that conflict that survive to the present day. Though... " Takeda looks over to the Emperor with a growing grin, and a hard and cold edge comes not only to his voice and eyes, but through the force the Emperor might even detect a sense of darkness or hatred. " that conflict is now finally... resolved."
He returns to examining the large piece of art, he is silent for a moment in thought, and then speaks while examining the details on the final panels.
"I suppose I should divulge more, it would come out soon enough should it come to pass that Dathomir is one of the traditional Kwa worlds, perhaps even the ancient home.
If it is, this could lead to a very... costly and complicated situation between our peoples. It is my understanding that Dathomir is largely a backwater world, inhabited by humans who are fundamentally primitive in culture. It is not known as being rich in resources to exploit, and there is no industrial capacity to speak of at all. Perhaps we can come to some arrangement... If indeed there is any need to, but that fact cannot be ascertained as of yet... At least to my knowledge."

"Then perhaps its very fortunate that you have come here this day, it would be better to avoid conflict than to seek it out." Ire comments as he looks at the painting but calmly running through the odds in his head what a war with the Kwa might entail and cost, it would be costly for both sides to say the least. When Ire senses a flicker of hatred running through the Kwa, the Emperor knows that he might have to keep this creature close by. Walking with Takeda, Ire begins to circle around the throne room and make his way back to his seat, all the while thinking how to find out more about Takeda's people. Ire wonders how Takeda might respond to the notion of the Aa-gizani's presence in the galaxy once more, with the Kwa being something that time forgot, the alien might know something about them that even Ire doesn't but that would have to be found out later.
"In the meantime, you must be exhausted, I wish to extend to you a stay within the Imperial palace. You will find that we can be most accommodating, even to a being of your... stature." Ire says as he gives the massive Kwa a look over, finding a room suitable for his size shouldn't be too hard. "I will arrange a meeting between you and the Dathomirian envoy as soon as possible."

Takeda nods, "Thank you, it had been a long journey and it would be nice to restore myself properly. I look forward to the meeting with the Dathomiri envoy.
I have heard rumor from the crew of the Vizier's ship that my own had been pressed into service to transport prisoners here to Carratos... I would like to find out the status of my ship and my crew. I have not had any news since that infected world."

"Your vessel and crew are in orbit aboard one of the customs stations, I'll see to it that your Capt. Ayu'lesh is informed of your arrival." Ire tells the Kwa as he walks up the stairs to his throne and sits down. "You'll be happy to know that they arrived unharmed, for the most part, they had a run in with some pirates but managed to survive."
Ire takes this moment of parting as an opportunity to check Takeda's knowledge of the Aa-gizani, the Kwa's response should clue the Emperor in on any fear or hesitance. "I will inform my aide to find you a room, unfortunately I have more pressing matters to attend to at the moment. I bid you a good day, Takeda of the Kwa."
Pressing a small button on his chair, Ire comms Cilla to inform her of new duties, this is when he flashes the name of the glittering darkness to secretly check Takeda's response. "Cilla, please prepare a suitable room our guest and please contact both Dr. Hazzilix and Konstai to report to my meeting room in one hour to discuss the Aa-gizani issue."
"It will be done, milord."

Takeda bows deeply following Ire's mention of his ship being safe and in system. "Thank you, your Majesty"
He bows another low bow in thanks, and as is his people's custom and backs away for a few steps before turning and heading to the doors.
Takeda is halfway to the doors when he hears the statement, not realizing Ire had intended to hear it. Now where have I heard that term before... Aai-gizaini... Aay... Aya... Ayah... Ayah Nazh? no... Ayah Naiseen? no.... Ayah Kyzhan? Ayah-Kyzhanna?!!?
His foot pauses in mid-stride, his throat tightens and he cannot help the rattling growl form happening as he exhales. It was bad enough dealing with the Rakatan, but this was a much deeper hatred, one borne out of necessity. It is an older thing, found among the older races, if the Emperor understands it it is unknown, but the man apparently knew some of the older tongues, or at least words of them. And it was not a word one wanted to hear.
After his recent experiences with Caitlin, too many things of old were appearing... probably seemingly more-so for one such as Ire... after all, being among his own people they were never "lost" to themselves. This is what Caitlin must have been going on about when she said the dark ones were returning... It appears it was not just a premonition of future events, but something more tangible.
He could not help the growl, and he regretted the potentially menacing effects of it afterwards, but he turned back looking over his shoulder to the Emperor. The man sat there on his throne, his glowing eyes peeking out from under the edge of his hood. Had he looked up to wonder why Takeda had paused after dismissing him, or was this another means of feeling him out?
"So the rumors are true then... Interesting"
The growl still tainted his voice as he spoke, it certainly did not sound anywhere as non-chalant as the words themselves were. And someone like the Emperor was sure to notice this... And what a fool Takeda had been... This man did not smell like a Chiss, and his eyes burned with that red glow... There was something more to this man than merely being the Emperor, something other-worldly.
If it was a test of the Emperor, he had fallen for it. Without waiting for a reply upon the matter he turned back forward and continued out into the hall to meet with whoever to see him to his appointed quarters.

As Takeda waits in the outer ward for the aide Ire spoke of, he pulls out his com-unit and taps out a communication to Ayu'lesh letting her know he is here and "safe".
He pauses for a moment and then taps out another one to Cait, this one however is encrypted.

*In Zairon's office, his comm system activates and holo of Kevin sitting inside his fighter out in space appears. The message begins.*
Lord Zairon, this is Sir Kevin Kenobi. I've been traveling around the galaxy for a while since returning here from the mission to confront the pirates over Maridun doing some thinking because I just didn't feel quite at home. This has happened before with other organizations I have joined, but I think what I need for now is just time to think about what it is I want in life I where exactly I wish to go. I am resigning from the Imperial Knights for now while figure everything out. If I ultimately feel that I belong with the Imperial Knights, I will return to Carratos. I want to thank you for the opportunity to be a member of the Knights. Kenobi out.
*The message ends and the comm unit flashes to let Zairon know that there is a message waiting for him.*
