Takeda bows as Cilla departs and walks over to the table when Ywlame suggests to sit down.
"Certainly, Dathomir has become and interest to me, it may have been a world my people originally inhabited long ago. As such I would like to obtain permission to travel there to explore and go among the clans of your people seeking to establish it is a possibility, or discount it as a tale."

Ywalme joins him at the table and sits down across from him. She listens with a serious expression on her face as he makes his request. She frowns for a moment in thought. While she is personally ready to grant his request she is not sure how her mother would react to Takeda's appearance. And knowing her mother probably badly unless...
I see. It seems a simple enough request. Knowing where one comes from is important. If it were entirely up to me I would gladly grant your request but it is not. You would have to get permission from Governor Morathi for you to go to Dathomir. Normally there wouldn't be a good chance that she would grant such a request. She doesn't like outsiders on Dathomir.
But having said that there may be a way that she could be persauded to grant your request. If along with my recomendation that she do so if the Emperor Ire were to let it be known that he is in favor of such request I think she would consent.

Aslan turns and starts retracing his steps.
He steps into the turbolift as the doors close he glances to try to catch one more glimps of the emperer.
The door opens on the main floor where Thalis guided him threw,He quickly moves threw the rushing crowds swiftly eventually reaching the landing platform.
His gleaming Chromium Starfighter still sits where it was left several hours ago.
He climbs into the cog pit and starts to cut the main systems online.
Computer engage repulsion engines and secure all systems.
The ship rises into the air and the landing struts retreat into the ship.
Aslan starts his way back to the docking bay when a per session of star fighters escorts him.

"I understand, I suppose then that is the best course of action, to leave the decision up to the Emperor. I thank you for your time."
This is most confusing to Takeda, why would the Emperor direct him to speak with an ambassador if the woman had no authority to grant his request. And who was this Governor Morathi, and what sway must she have over the Emperor himself to cause such a circular state of affairs. Takeda bows to the ambassador as he rises from the table.

Ywalme feels confused when Takeda suddenly stands up again after just sitting down as she was given to understand he requested this meeting.
She reaches out looking through the Force trying to feel what he is feeling to understand what is going on and she picks up confusion coming from him. She looks at Takeda and decides to be frank with him.
I think maybe you misunderstand me Lord Takeda. It is not the Emperor's decision it would be the Governor's.
If you were human this wouldn't be an issue I could grant you permission right now to go and you would be let on the planet. But Governor Morathi can be .... difficult... when it comes to dealing with non-humans.
But she is wishes to make an alliance with the Empire and if the Emperor were to say he is in favor of you going she would listen to him because she would wish do him favor in hoping that would please him.

-in the throne room-
As Mund is leaving the throne room, Kommisar enters the Emperor's court and bows to Ire. Ire sees the Imperial Regent and orders him to speak with a motion of his hand. "My Emperor, it has occurred to me than since the horrors seen at THX-1138 that the original mission of going to Zonama Sekot and meeting with the Extolled was never completed."
"I believe you are correct, Regent Kommisar, I take it you wish to go to Zonama Sekot as it were?"
"Yes, my Emperor." Kommisar replies.
"Tell me something Regent, do you believe we can trust the Yuuzhan Vong now after the experience over that moon? I wonder if we shouldn't just wipe all the Vong off the face of the galaxy forever, what say you to that?" Ire inquires.
"I believe we must honor our agreement and give them the opportunity to prove themselves worthy. If they prove themselves dishonest and attack us directly then we'll have no choice but to destroy them." Kommisar replies confidently, the Regent appears to have some faith in the Yuuzhan Vong or in the Extolled at the least. Kommisar waits as the Emperor quietly thinks the proposal over.
"Your request to go to Zonama Sekot is granted, Regent. Take the Atrocity as a sign to the Vong, lets hope they don't try to kill you when you get there."
"Thank you, milord." Kommisar says with a bow before turning sharply on his heel and heading out of the throne room.

Takeda listens to her and his eyes narrow. So the planet is not yet technically a part of the Empire... Interesting, Ire did not give any indications of that, no he seemed all too eager to let Takeda assume it was, the star-charts he purchased weeks ago, and even the data obtained from the informational holo-net while here on Carratos very clearly said as much. So Ire had designs on Dathomir... and apparently for some time... now the question was why?
"I apologize for wasting your time then at present, I though this meeting was to be simply a formality to process the red-tape that normally accompanies traveling to a new planet. I will petition the Emperor for his favor upon the matter, and hope the Governor makes a favorable decision soon after. It was a pleasure to meet you Lady Ywlame, I understand you were traveling with the Vizier a while ago, and undertook a trip on my ship to return here. I hope my crew was courteous and you enjoyed a favorable journey."
There was not any indication of rudeness intended, her final words to her seemed quite genuine. For Takeda was not up to speed on all the details of the trip inbound being so.... eventful.

Ywalme shakes her head as he apologizes. Lord Takeda you have not wasted my time though I fear you think I have wasted yours. Believe me that is not the case.I don't think that the Emperor would have arranged for us to meet if he wasn't in favor of granting your request. His Highness is a shrewd diplomat and knows when to follow protocol. This could potentially benefit us all and I think he knows this. That is why he arranged this meeting between us.
I will talk to the Governor and try to make her see that it would help her cause with the Emperor by granting your request. I do have some influence with her. Ywalme smiles at the thought of her mother's probable reaction and evenutal compliance. It wasn't often that she could get the better of her mother this was going to be fun.
The pleasure was mine Lord Takeda. She flushes slightly at the mention of the Grand Vizier. Indeed he was most kind. Your ship? She looks nonplussed for a moment. It is obvious this news is a surprise to her. This is indeed a small galaxy. Yes, acutally they were. I take it the acting Captain was your adpoted daughter? It was a rough journey but that was no fault of theirs.

"I expect that is the case, he is the Emperor after all. I will be awaiting a reply to my request to come shortly then."
When she blushes at the mention of the Vizier, he grins inwardly to himself thinking maybe it is not Ire himself with designs upon Dathomir, or at least not the whole planet.
He nods at her last words,
"Yes, she is my heir... If it was a rough trip I am glad to see you arrived here then in one piece. Thank you again Lady Ywlame."
With a final bow, he turns and heads out of the room hoping one of the aids or at least his escort guard know the way back to his quarters.

Indeed he is. I will contact the Governor right away and get this started. I hope to hear shortly that your request has been granted. As soon as I do I will get word to you if that is acceptable?
Ywalme nods at his information. A lucky girl then. I found her intelligent and conscientious. She handled a difficult situation with much grace. I'm afraid better than I did. She gets a rueful look and then continues saying. I can see why you made her your heir.
Aw... these things happen I'm told between the troopers acting strangely and then being attacked by pirates.... she frowns at that remembering the leader took her lightwhip...I'm glad I arrived in one piece too. You're welcome Lord Takeda.
She inclines her head at his bow then follows him out of the conference room. She then walks with her escort back toward her quarters. On the way she puts a request for a comm-call to her mother.

Shadow quietly watches as Mund joins Tion with the RGE and nods his head. He turns to see Regent Kommisar entering the throne room. He raises an eyebrow when he mentions the Yuuzhan Vong. After Kommisar leaves, Shadow quietly approaches the throne.
"Sire, is there anything that you need me to do?" He asks quietly.

Konstai walks along with a slight limp heading for the turbo-lifts, he occasionally glances back to see if the Mandroid and the Whelp have kept up. He slaps the button for the turbo-lift and turns staring at the Mandroid.
"So the Emperor had you created eh? So was your vat here at the palace or somewhere else?"

Walking behind his new Master, Rajnish hears his question about him being created by the Emperor. He thought only for a second before responding.
"No, my Master. I was not created but improved by the Emperor. This was my second stage in this form. My first Master was the one that put me in this body, trying to save my dieing body. I can never forgive him for putting me into this body, he should have let me die. All I have left is the hate for him, it keeps me going. Hoping one day to repay him in full."
The last part of his comment was true hate towards Corey Dooku. He continues as he stands behind to his left of the Master.

Looking to Shadow, Ire cant think of anything that requires his talents at the moment. He had thought if Governor Mund had proven to be a hand full he might have Shadow take the bothersome fly out of the equation, now that action is moot. Ire cant help but think that maybe the operative might enjoy some down time. Yes, I order you to Bespin to have some fun. After your dealings with the Black Sun you might do good to visit a casino or a cantina for that matter. I grant you a two week furlough from any and all killing of Imperial enemies. Does that sit well with you, Agent Shadow?"

Shadow raises an eyebrow slightly, a grin starting to tug at his lips. He then inclines his head in respect. "It does indeed sire. Sounds like an interesting place to relax. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever been to Bespin before."
He then bows. "By your leave then my Emperor, I shall depart at once." He then begins to think on what to do for his time off.

Elsewhere in the palace...
As Cilla watched the brief conversation between Takeda and Ywalme play out, Ire's beautiful bodyguard discovers the Kwa's interest in the backwater world of Dathomir before noticing that Ywalme couldn't help the giant blue lizard with his request. When mention of the matter being an issue in which her master could sooth things over, Cilla leaves the monitoring room and goes to locate Takeda. With the aide that accompanied the trio before now off doing other things, this gave Cilla an opportunity to swoop in and be the first to 'help' things move along.
Upon spotting the Kwa in the hall, Cilla approaches as if she is passing in the hall and greets Takeda as if she didn't have perfect timing. "Done with your meeting already, Lord Takeda?"

I had previously been under the impression that Dathomir was a firmly established Imperial planet. Even the star charts I purchased on Coruscant ago list it as such.
Ironic, the Alliance Astrogation and Astrography Authority credits it as Imperial, I would think they would have been all too eager to claim the opposite.
But since I have your attention for a moment, I wish to petition his Majesty to intercede with the Dathomiri Governor on my behalf. I would like to conduct this measure properly, for it would be unfortunate to be forced to take a different path on this matter. |

Taking lead, Cilla walks towards the throne room located not to far from where the duo currently stand. Cilla will be interested to see how the Emperor takes the news of what she learned about Takeda's interest in Dathomir. As they walk down the hallway leading to the throne room, the guards outside see Cilla approach and step aside. The guards are about to step in front of Takeda path and block his entrance to the throne room when Cilla informs them, "He's with me, let him pass."
As Ire sits in his throne, going over information on his computer screen, he looks up to see Cilla and Takeda standing before him. Cilla bows before the Emperor gracefully before addressing him. "My Emperor, the information you have requested is in secure datafile 421.94.327."
"Excellent." Ire says as he goes to access the information on the screen before him. As he skims the info, he sees the transcript from the meeting between the Dathomirian envoy and the Kwa and isn't all that surprised, he look up and sees Takeda still standing there and decides to 'find out' what it is the Kwa wants even though he already knows "Ah, Takeda, I see your meeting with the envoy was sort lived otherwise I doubt you'd be here. Is there something I can do for you?"
