Takeda bows, "It appears my understanding of Dathomir's inclusion in the Empire was incorrect. I formally petition your Majesty to send word of your view upon the matter of my prospective visit there to the Governor of Dathomir, if it so please you of course. If it currently does not, perhaps we can come to a matter in which it does, and benefits the Empire."

Ywalme in her quarters puts a com-call to her mother on Dathomir. After a brief greetings she gets down to the reason she called.
After a brief argument with her mother she finally gets the Governor to at least consider the matter of allowing Takeda to come to Dathomir hinting that the Emperor would be pleased if her mother did.
After making their farewells Ywalme ends the call.
She didn't get her mother to agree but at least she set the ball in motion and she didn't think it take long for her mother to reconsider and agree especially if the Emperor stepped in and personally vouched for Lord Takeda.

Ire is surprised that Takeda offered to come to a mutually agreeable situation so quickly, his ruse for information has played off better than he hoped, he has gotten more than intended. Ire bows his head and addresses the Kwa. I see... from what I know of the Kwa, you are an honor bound society and keep to agreements so I believe an arrangement could be made. But first..."
Ire looks to Cilla and bows his head, dismissing the aide with his nod to give them privacy. Cilla bows and makes an exit through the throne room doors. Once the doors seal again, Ire continues to speak with Takeda. "You mention something that might benefit the Empire, speak your offer and I shall see if it is indeed beneficial. If it is, I shall guarantee you see Dathomir with your own eyes and feel its soil under your feet."

Takeda does not mess around, he had already come to part of this conclusion on the trip to the throne-room with Cilla earlier.
"The Empire has a powerful fleet, but the tensions between it and the Alliance are growing. The Alliance news has been carrying on bout how their fleet nearly destroyed the Imperial fleet sent to relieve Kal Shebbol, and how if it had not been for the arrival of the Atrocity they would have carried the day.
I mean no disrespect your Majesty, but it is a weakness the Imperial Fleet is spread thin carrying out missions of care and defense of its own space. With Corelia about as likely to engage in open warfare with the Alliance as the Empire, they will be concentrating on production of war vessels for themselves. The Imperial shipyards, well, those that are known publicly, do not have time to be constructing transports and utilitarian ships, if war breaks out, production and repair must fall to military priorities.
What I propose to you, is this. Ten heavy transports, well armored and well shielded, similar in class to a Star Galleon, at a price of 9 million credits per... I believe you pay nearly 16 million for them?"
He does a quick fidgeting with his fingers like he is calculating something, "More so, what do you say to all ten being delivered by just past mid-month? I would not presume to make you wait for months on end like Kuat or Seinar..."

Shadow turns as he senses Csilla and a tall lizard-like humanoid enter the throne room. Looking back at Emperor Ire, he bows once and quietly makes his way out of the Throne Room. He moves silently down the corridors of the palace until he reaches his assigned room. Stepping inside, he begins packing clothing to last him two weeks.
In a separate bag, he puts his combat armour inside. "Never hurts to be safe than sorry." He mutters under his breath. Unclipping his lightsaber from his belt, he places it in the bag wih the armour. Slinging both bags over his right shoulder, he quietly exits the room and makes his way to the North Landing platform.
He boards his ship the Valkyrie and closes the hatch. He walks into the cockpit and activates the ship systems. He engages the ship's engines and the ship lifts off the platform and heads toward the Orbit.

Ire cant help but chuckle inwardly, while the Empire is strong it has been made to appear weak, granted the destruction of the Imperial fleet over Kal'Shebbol has perpetrated this weakness it is in all actuality a ploy by Ire. Now Takeda comes offering a ships for the cause of fighting the GA, that coupled with the new Basestar destroyers beginning production soon offer a boost to fleet power. Then comes the price of the ships, a tempting offer indeed to Ire's sensibilities, and the time frame for delivery only adds to the intrigue. Ire thinks about the offer and sees the value of it but that doesn't stop the Emperor from talking it over "That is a very tempting offer indeed, one would be crazy not to find it anything less than tempting, but what is ten heavy transports in the grand scheme of things? Not to sound greedy but I have a counter-offer."
It is clear to Ire through what he is offered that Takeda has means to produce many a warship and it is that Ire seeks, plus a little something more. "If the Empire is as 'weak and stretched' as you say it is then perhaps a stronger agreement is needed. I offer this, a contract between us, something stronger than a simple arrangement. If you agree to build ships for my Empire exclusively, and not just heavy cruisers but larger vessels, not only will I see to it that you set foot on Dathomir without much issue but I will support you should you find what you are looking for. I know of Kwa history, not as much as you perhaps but I know that even I cant deny the Kwa and their abilities."
Ire takes this moment to make his pitch seem more tempting and convincing at what he wants is the best for not only the Kwa but the Empire as well. The Emperor rises and approaches Takeda as a confidant more than a man who can get things done. "the Kwa and the Empire are much the same when you get down to it and if your kind do return to the galaxy it would make things much better if the transition was smooth for both sides. Perhaps this could be a stepping stone to a much stronger agreement between us..."

Takeda listens to the words of Ire carefully, he considers them as one would consider such a statement from his own lord. Then Ire does something Takeda did not expect, he rose from hsi throne and approached him. This is the second time the man has done so. Takeda had seen this sort of behavior in many of those who traded in power amongst the peoples of the main galaxy. To Takeda however it was a reprehensible behavior, it indicated a contempt for him. There is only two reasons, in Takeda's mind at least. Firstly, it is a falsehood, a ploy designed to put an inferior at ease a method to speak to their ego; "Observe, We are partners or equals, not as lord and thrall." Secondly, it would be a concession, when a lord steps lowers himself to the level of one petitioning him, he is not feeling secure in his own position at least on some level. In gambling parlance, Ire is either "bluffing" or has just shown "a tell", the question of course is which. Perhaps this could be a stepping stone to a much stronger agreement between us..."Takeda,s eyes narrow in reflex, and he turns his head slightly to the side looking at Ire askance. It would be extremely bad protocol to come out and confront Ire verbally, but such was the arts of court protocol to provide these nuances. In the tone of his reply, Takeda remains respectful, "Your Majesty, that is most generous, but without clear terms to measure it by I could come to no definitive agreement. What I think you mean to propose may be above my means, for I do not represent my Emperor for lack of a clearer term, nor even my own Clanlord. I have not the authority to do so, I can only represent my own holdings and means. I as a warrior can engage in war in their name, but I cannot petition for peace and diplomacy. It is a complex arrangement to be sure, I understand if it causes me to be unclear, so much is lost in translation.
I am sure you understand that if I am offering those things within only my own means, I cannot offer that that can only be granted by my Emperor. Also, it would not be in my best interest to offer only my products to your exclusively at this time. However, consider this, this offer of this type has never been made to another party, and quite likely will never be again. If it is simply a matter of the product to be delivered, time-frame, or price; let us negotiate that, define those and conclude this mutually beneficial arrangement."

"I see..." Ire says realizing that Takeda isn't some type of envoy but a private party with his own occord and that the Emperor's normal buddy-buddy routine wont work with the Kwa or at least Takeda. This might even be more valuable than Ire had hoped for, dealing with governments takes too long when dealing with individuals is so much quicker. One thing that still surprises him is the speed at which he is offering to have these transports built. That is when the thought of things long forgotten by most, Ire wonders if this Kwa might have himself a duplicate of something lost to the ages. Ire had to push an agreement, without looking like he's fishing for information, but he is looking for hints to see if his sharp instincts haven't dulled.
"If that is the case then the Empire shall need more than just armored transports, I will render payments for those ten transports but if you can build I would like to have a standing order arranged. I need carriers, cruisers and starfighters to help bolster my fleets; I know a war with the GA is ahead, there is no stopping that, I want to make sure I have overwhelming numbers when I remind them of why the Empire is stronger than they think. I other than that, all I need is assurances that when I face the GA I will not be staring at your ships out the viewport opposing me.
Ire lays it on for Takeda and sees if this will help move things in the right direction, if Ire's suspicions are true than this might be an issue of Imperial Security, if this Kwa is capable of the feat of what has already been offered plus continuing sales and quick delivers at the same time... far more valuable for both parties. Ire walks to within a meter of Takeda, close but not trying to impose himself on the taller Kwa, he offers his hand to seal the deal. "If that is within your means then that is what I am asking for."

Takeda nods, "That is something that can likely be arranged, I possess a chain of factories that can make smaller ships quite rapidly. Larger ships, do take a greater measure of time of course, but my factories have the ability to handle larger ships up to 2,500 meters of keel currently. It is quite a simple arrangement, we build them by component and then assemble them. Though, for each large ship we are building, the more factories and assembly units are tasked to each one."
Takeda had read quite a bit previously about ship construction and the various techniques used to achieve quick production, it was one of the reasons why he had finally settled on Kuat to produce a ship for him. Though I guess that was now a moot point, since he could have it built himself. What astounded Takeda was that with the large ships, the assembly line type production was not utilized on the larger ships like they were upon the smaller ones, at least not in the same manner. Dweezel had very briefly educated him on the basics of the process of the StarForge, much of it did not seem to be all that special when it came down to it. So with that knowledge in his head Takeda provided that much information. Ire's repeated mention of the "history" of the Kwa was a bit disturbing, hopefully this explanation might dispel Ire's lines of speculation and offer a mundane solution for him to sink his teeth into.
Takeda looks down at the proffered hand a bit taken aback at first but recovers before extending his own, "I think it may be a bit early in the process, but at least to the successful conclusion of an agreement then. I do not have the designs to provide star-craft of war, at least not to the caliber your the Empire needs. Corvettes and in-system snub-fighters I am sure you have an annoying excess of already. My factories can produce more formidable warships, ones to your specifications, however I do not have the full designs and specifications of course. Should such an arrangement be concluded between us, I will seal the agreement in my own blood that your designs will never be sold to anyone but the Empire. I also can adamantly say a deal of this nature will not be being offered to the Alliance... ever. Though I do reserve the right to flood the galactic market with small and affordable tramp freighters.

"I ensure you, you will have what you need to complete my requests, the tramp freighter market is yours." Ire says with a slight chuckle. He takes note of what the Kwa said about sealing a deal in blood, Ire couldn't agree more with the sentiment. As he shakes Takeda's hand its apparent that this will be most profitable indeed. "I have a feeling its going to be a pleasure doing business with you."

Ywalme sends a message to Lord Takeda that she has talked to Governor Morathi and she is considering his request. Ywalme also sends her hope that it will soon be resolved in his favor. She ends her message and walks away from the desk.
She rumages around in her bags and pulls out a datapad that her mother had give her to study on Nightsister defensive spells. She curls up on the bed to read when her stomach growls and she realizes she hasn't eaten any breakfast yet. She puts away the datapad and calls an aide to bring her something to eat.

Anakin was on his way to the office when he notices, one of the aides walking toward the guest rooms of the palace. He wonders if he is on his way to Lady Ywalme's room.
"Excuse me, but where are you taking that?"
Anakin says, the aide starts to get nervous when he realizes who is talking to him.
A: "I-I'm j-just taking t-this to Lady Burz's suite.
Anakin rolls his eyes at the aide, five years later..... He thought to himself, he was starting to regret asking him.
"I'll go ahead and deliver that to her. I'm on my way over there anyway. Just go ahead and tell me, which room she is in."
After the aide stuttered where Ywalme was, Anakin went ahead and took the platter from the aide. He walked over to her room, and knocked on the door respectfully.

Ywalme when hears the knock on the door she is expecting the aide with her breakfast. She walks from the bedroom to the small parlor where the front door is. She unlocks the door and says as she walks to sit down at the small dining table in the parlor.
Come in. It's open. Her back is to the door.

Ywalme turns around in surprise at the sound of Anakin's voice. She knows that voice and it isn't her aide's. When she turns completely around and sees who is there her recognization of his voice is confrimed as true. Her cheeks flush slightly.
My Lord Vader. You shouldn't have to bring me my breakfast. And on seeing him still standing at the door she hesitantly says. I would enjoy some company if you don't have to be somewhere else won't you please come in and join me if you haven't eaten yet.

"I saw your aide on the way over here, I told him I would deliver it. I wanted to come by and see how you are. I heard about the pirate incident, I'm glad to see you're in good health.
Anakin nods and walks into the room.
"Thank you milady that is very nice of you."

That is kind of you, My Lord. I'm well and have recovered from the ordeal but the pirate's leader took my lightwhip. She scowls at that. If she ever finds that pirate he will regret the day he was born and his death will not be either easy or swift. She thinks.
You're welcome, My Lord. She sits down at the table. Please sit.
