Astrographical Data:
History Synopsis:
Abo is the single star of the Lehon system. It is orbited by eight planets.
- Iwar - OP: 1 - Uninhabitable sun-blasted rock
- Meldina - OP: 2 - Uninhabitable volcanic planet
- Taxiode - OP: 3 - Uninhabitable toxic environment
- Lehon - OP: 4 - Habitable Abandoned Planet
- Desten - OP: 5 - Ultra-thin Atmosphere Planet
- Geraps Sule - OP: 6 - Gas Giant
- Verla Klest - OP: 7 - Gas Giant
- Ding Briar - OP:8 - Gas Giant
At some point prior to 25,200 BBY Abo was harnessed by the Infinite Empire to power their space-based factory, the Star Forge.
Following the Jedi Civil War, the Lehon system was littered with wreckage from the Star Forge and the remnants of the Republic/Jedi Fleet which had fought in the final battle of the war. Lehon itself became surrounded with asteroid-like rings of debris which made navigation to and from the planet extremely dangerous.
Though the wreckage would have been valuable as a resource, the Galactic Republic locked down the entire system as a protected site which was not to be entered without permission.

History Synopsis:
Infinite Empire Era: 49,000-25,200 BBY
Long before the Galactic Republic, Lehon was the capital of the ancient Infinite Empire. The Rakata were a scientifically advanced species that powered their technology with natural Force sensitivity and used their knowledge to enslave and subjugate other, less-developed species. They were responsible for creating several technological marvels including the semi-sentient Star Forge, and the Original foundations of the Hyperdrive. Large cities covered Lehon, but became crumbling ruins as they were reclaimed by the jungle.
The Infinite Empire, which at its peak included approximately 500 planets, ten billion Rakata, and over a trillion slaves, ended in a brutal civil war. During the final days of the Empire, the Rakata were forced to flee back to their homeworld due to widespread slave insurrections and the ravages of a deadly plague. The surviving Rakata, now extinct beyond Lehon, succumbed to barbarism, with cannibalism becoming common among their warring factions. Battling warlords severely damaged the surface of Rakata Prime through the use of weapons of mass destruction that fragmented it into islands. The majority of the species were forced to flee underground because their planet had become almost uninhabitable.
Jedi Civil War Era: 3,959 BBY - 3,956 BBY
By this time various Rakatan tribes, emerged back to the surface of their now backwater planet, but their civilization was still one of battle and bloodshed. Only the Elders—descendants of the priest caste of the Infinite Empire—kept memories of their once glorious past alive. Only they had access to the advanced technologies their species had created long ago. They used it to isolate and guard their forbidden lore in the Temple of the Ancients.
The planet itself was protected by a disruptor field that could disable any incoming ship's communications, propulsion, and navigational systems. The field originating from the Ancient Temple, was originally constructed to protect the Star Forge. Over the millennia, the planet had become a technological graveyard, with its tropical islands strewn with the wreckage of spaceships unfortunate enough to have stumbled across the mysterious planet's hidden location.
Lehon was the site of the Sith Lords Revan and Malak during this time. They used the StarForge to build an immense Sith fleet to challenge the Republic. This culminated in the final battle of the war When the atoned Revan led a mission to lower the defenses of the StarForge. This ended with the destruction of the Sith Fleet, the Starforge, and the end of Darth Malak and his Sith.
Post Jedi Civil War - Present:
After the Jedi Civil War, the entire Lehon system was littered with wreckage from the destroyed Star Forge and the remnants of crippled ships. Lehon itself became surrounded with asteroid-like rings of rubble which made navigation to and from the planet extremely dangerous. Though the wreckage would have been valuable as a source of resources, the Galactic Republic chose to quarantine the system.
Eventually, this was lifted and Lehon was incorporated into the Galactic Republic. However, its true nature was kept secret to avoid dissuading settlers. The declining population of Rakata died out within a few generations, leaving Lehon devoid of sentient life, attempts at establishing a permanent settlement never seeing success.
Around 1,000 BBY, Darth Bane came to Lehon following the path of Darth Revan. Upon landing on the surface, he sensed that the planet was still deeply steeped in the dark side of the Force, even more so than Korriban. Here he found Darth Revan's holocron, in the Temple of the Ancients, an in a battle with the Sith Lord Kas'im, Bane destroyed the Temple. During his approach to the Lehon system, he saw the remains of the Star Forge and the wreckage of the final battle had fused together, creating a ring-like construct around the planet Lehon. While many have though nothing of this, it is noteworth due to the nature of Rakatan Technology,
