The city of Ta'a Chume'Dan was the administrative capital of the Hapes Consortium. A small, neat city of only a few hundred thousand inhabitants, it was nevertheless the hub of governmental, commercial and legal activity for the entire Hapes Cluster, due to laws requiring all major business to be done on Hapes itself. There were movable landing pads throughout the city to fit in as many landing ships as possible.
The name Ta'a Chume'Dan indicated "Queen Mother's Residence" in Hapan, and the most remarkable sight in the city was the royal palace, a fairy-tale castle perched on the black basalt crag that dominated the settlement, which served as a key symbol of the monarchy's grandeur and power to the administrators and bureaucrats of the population - as Ta'a Chume'Dan itself served a symbolic and administrative role for the worlds of the Consortium.
Probably due to the isolationist policies of the Hapans, however, New Republic sources disagreed as to whether the palace overlooking the city was the Fountain Palace, or Star Home, a magnificent interstellar starship built as an exact duplicate of the royal seat. It is likely, however, that it was the original Fountain Palace which stood in Ta'a Chume'Dan, and it seems certain that the Lorell Hall was also set on the same bluffs

Ben Rider pushed through the crowds running as fast as he could only stopping to admire pretty clothes and buy a scraft to cover his bleeding neck. He robbed a few other hobos as he ran and raced through one beautiful store and purchased some pretty clothes. However, just as he was about to look for a changing room he saw the one-eyed man point and call to his buddy. "God Ugly It!" He groaned racing towards the back door with his new outfit slung over his shoulder. "This better fit or I'll be mad!"
As he ran through the busy city he occasionally knocked ugly things over hoping the assassins would trip or be slowed down as they were in action stories. However, apparently he was doing something wrong because most the time his pursuers simply stepped over or around the things he was throwing.
"Oh come on!" He said as he started gasping for breath. He quickly ducked through an ally way, ran through a strip joint tossing a coin at one woman as he ran, and then tried to hide in another clothing store.
As he hid behind a rack of clothing he held his breath and hoped the assassins wouldn't see him. However, within seconds the second assassin with the fat nose pointed at the rack he was in.
"How could they find me so fast..." He cried, "I'm just too pretty to be in such low class stores..." He said ignoring the fact that he was wearing fruit covered, smelly dirty, bloody, and ripped up clothing.
Once again the chase began. Realizing he needed to get off the planet or find some help he again raced towards the spaceport hoping that amongst the people coming and going he'd be able to get lost. Plus with all the security he might scare off the assassins.
He raced towards the spaceport and heard a blaster fire and felt something nail his left arm. He gasped in pain as he looked down, luckily it had only grazed him, sadly it had damaged the new outfit he'd bought.
However, he could finally see the spaceport and with a final burst of speed he raced into the crowded area pushing aside people as he ran inside with the assassins hot on his tail.
