History:

Corey left Roon and went to the Living Ship Yard on Zonoma Sekot to have a ship crafted for him. After undergoing the growing process the vessel, the only one the ZSSB had to that point built to such a large scale, was complete and named Selena.

Selena became a big part of Corey's life as he traveled deep into the Unknown Regions on a quest to find the missing masters known as the Gray Jedi. After several years of his absence form Roon, the now Admiral Thorne searched for Corey and brought he and the living ship home, but suffered heavy losses to the Roon defense fleet, for he had stripped the planet of its military resources to hunt for his wayward charge. During these years in the deep unknown with Corey, Selena had reached her maturity.

After the triumphant return of Thorne with the missing Corey, Corey undertook the mission to have the shattered remnants of the small Roon Fleet rebuilt and repaired at Kuat Drive Yards; Nefarious events were underfoot, and with the unhealthy addition of Corey's own murderous son Raj to the mix, a series of incidents were put in motion that resulted in the unleashing of dark powers that crippled a part of the passenger complex on the KDY array, and a full scale space-battle in orbit outside.

In the events that unfold at Kuat, all but one of the Roon fleet ships (a Crusader class Corvette Named God's Hand, the personal craft of Admiral Thorne) were either captured or destroyed buy the Kuati Defense Fleet and the RGE's infamous Atrocity. Prior to the space-battle proper, Selene sensing the danger approaching her master, left the bay of the Roon Star Destroyer - Bastogne to be there for when Corey tried to escape. This independent act of the living ship to serve and protect her master, is likely to have been the trigger for Kuat to fire upon the Roon Fleet.

Selene, approaching the KDY Array was beset by the powerful tractor beams of the Array, used normally to maneuver the largest ships in the galaxy to their berths, resulting in her forcible detention. While her unique nature has at least temporarily insured her survival, she remains locked in a secure hangar in the depths of KDY enveloped in an energy mesh, more than adequate to stun the ship, if not kill her outright. She sits waiting, miserable for her failure to protect her master who she can no-longer sense through her connection to him, thus alone for the first time in her "life".

She was "liberated' from the Kuat Array by Zanear and the complex machinations of the heir of one of the Great Families. Following the escape she arrived with Zanear and Arri as passengers at Corellia, where during the chaos of a series of attacks and actions CEC took the opportunity to steal critical parts from her to study in an attempt to gain more insight into her Hybrid Vong technology. This rendered her slightly less sentient and also curtailed her performance down to the range of a normal ship of her size.
