The Stonewycke Castle is the family estate of Lucian and Sonja Cousland, the parents of Nick and Claire Cousland. The estate is located 10 miles north of the city of Salis D'aar, the capital of Bakura. The estate and its grounds have been in the Cousland family for over 10 generations. It will someday pass on to Nick, the next heir of the Estate.

The transport shuttle zooms across the countryside, and approaches the Cousland Estate, Stonewycke Castle. The shuttle comes in for a landing and the engines shut down. Nick opens the door and quiet steps out of the shuttle and looks around.
Smiling, he looks at everyone. "Its good to be home." He breathes in the cool mountain fresh air. He then turns and helps Amelia out of the shuttle.
Lucian quietly exits the shuttle and helps Sonja out as well. Claire casually jumps down and immediately sets off towards the Castle and enters through the front doors.

Phedra jumps out of Cait's lap then jumps out of the transport. She wanders off to explore.
Cait exits the transport followed by Colin. She takes a deep breath and releases it. Now that is what I call fresh air.
She smiles at Nick's statement.
I'm sure it is, Nick. Let's get settled. I for one would like to change and get these shoes off and go barefooted for awhile. Unless you want to show us your ship first?
Colin is looking around but turns back around when Cait mentions the ship. Yes, when are going to get to see your baby?

Nick looks at Cait and Colin. "Well, we can unveil the ship later on. Let's give everyone a chance to relax first. And also a chance to get something to eat."
He looks up and watches as Lucian and Sonja head inside the Castle. He gently takes Amelia's hand in his and looks at her. "Are you hungry?" He looks at everyone else still there. "I know I am. Let's all head inside and get something to eat."

Sounds good. And food sounds wonderful. I'm starving. Cait says.
Me too. Says Colin. Their stomachs growl at the same time causing them both to laugh.
We better eat before the beasts escape. Colin says with a laugh.
We can't let that happen. That would be too scarey. Cait says with a chuckle.
Cait and Colin walk into the house. Phedra has already found her way to the kitchen and is prowling around.
Amelia smiles up at Nick when he takes her hand and asks. [/quote]
She nods. Yes, I am. Let's go eat, Nick. She squeezes his hand.

~Stepping out of the shuttle Tenkai can't help but stop and stare his brain trying to comprehend the structure infront of him his eyes darting taking in everything his mind only forming one word~ "Impressive"
~His brain grinds to a halt at the mention of food his eyes widen and dilate slightly as a smirk crosses his face~ "food now that sounds rather pleasent right about now"
~looking around one last time he chases after Cait and Colin~ "Mind helping me navigate, because i do belive that with one wrong turn i could very well end up in a room i'm not supposed to be in"

Colin happens to see Tenkai's expression as he gets out of the transport. Colin can't help but smile as Tenkai looks a little stunned. Colin says.
"Impressive isn't it? The estate has been here for centuries. It is one of the oldest buildings on Bakura and the Couslands have added to it over the centuries."
"You can feel how ancient it is it reminds me a little of home." Cait adds a little wistfully.
Cait smiles at this and says. "Yes, it does." She continues to walk toward the house with Colin. Cait turns around when she notices that Tenkai isn't with them.
She chuckles when she hears him ask.
"I think we could do that. If you do get lost just ask someone and they can tell you how to get where you want to be or they can show you. Don't worry about asking the servants. They are use to people getting lost in the house. It happens all the time." She chuckles and says teasing him."Or we can get you a compass and a guide."

Nick smiles listening to everyone and makes his way through the grand foyer and down a hallway and into the large dining hall. He smiles when he sees the staff setting the table with freshly cooked food.
He glances at Tenkai and nods his head. "Don't worry about it Tenkai, the staff here is very friendly and will assist you in anything you need. All you have to do is ask."
He approaches the long rectangular table and sees his parents seated at both ends. He pulls out a chair for Amelia to sit down and then he takes a seat next to her and to the left of his father who has already sat down.
Claire sits down in the chair opposite him and quietly waits for the staff to finish setting the table.

Cait follows Nick into the dining room and seats herself next to Claire, Colin sits down on the other side of Cait, leaving room for Tenkai to sit between them.
"That smells wonderful, Lucian." Cait says as she waits for everyone to seat themselves and the staff to start serving.
"Yeah, I could eat a Bantha." Colin says with at grin.

~Tenkai chuckles lightly at the idea~ "maybe a compass and a guide would be helpful."
~looking from Cait to Nick he smirks~ "Good to know though i will attempt to avoid causing them unneeded problems."
~looking at the table tenkai smirks till he smells the food walking over to the spot left open for him he covertly wipes some drool from his lips~ "this smells like heaven"

Lucian smiles and nods his head to Cait. "Why thank you my dear." He looks around at the massive dining hall. "We've had the dining hall just recently remodeled too."
He leans back in his chair as the kitchen staff set the food on the table. He then takes a more serious look on his face. "Now, the reason I called you and Nick both here is that we made a discover in the catacombs beneath the Manor." He takes a drink as he waits for their undivided attention and then resumes. "We've come across an unknown chamber deep within the catacombs. Trouble is, we can't access it because the door is sealed by some ancient powerful barrier."
He sighs and shakes his head. "It had some ancient writing on the door and we've been able to decipher a single word among the writings. The word 'Nexus' was discovered."
He leans back in his chair and quietly begins to eat his food.
Nick listens intently and when his father mentions 'Nexus', he looks directly at Cait. "Hey Cait. Do you think this Nexus might be what we're looking for that can aid us against the Oathbreakers? I wonder why they haven't been able to get past the door's barrier." He takes a drink from his glass.

Cait says to Tenkai with a smile.
"Well if you need them we will certainly set you up with either or both. At least until you know your way around. We can't have you getting lost."
Cait to Lucian.
"You're welcome, Lucian." She looks around the dining room. "Did you? It turned out great. lt looks lovely. I see Sonja's hand in the decorations." She says as she looks at Sonja with smile.
She smiles at the servants as they serve the food. She picks up her fork and starts to eat. But she turns her attention back to Lucian when he speaks about the catacombs her expression grows serious when she sees his expression and hears what he says.
"Interesting. An ancient powerful barrier?" She exchanges a glance with Colin who grimaces. "Hmmm.... Nexus? Nothing else? I wonder... I would have to look at it but maybe between Colin and myself with our studies of the ancient language we can decipher the rest of it." She says as she looks over at her brother who nods in agreement.
Cait says to Nick with a serious expression on her face.
"I don't know, Nick. Possibly. I would have to look at the door first before I could give you any type of intelligent answer. Good question. I was wondering that myself."
Then she says to Lucian.
"What did you try to get past it? "
She looks at Lucian waiting his answer.

Lucian smiles and nods his head. "Thank you Cait. It took us a little over a month, nearly two months to finish remodeling it. Even with droids to help out. This manor is so old, it takes a delicate touch to redo anything with it."
Sonja smiles. "Thank you Cait. I helped out as much as I could. Thankfully, I had some time off from the Bakura Academy to help out around here."
Lucian looks at Cait and then at Colin. "Not a problem there Cait. Actually after everyone is done eating, if you want, you, Colin and Nick can head down to the catacombs and see if you three can figure it out."
Nick nods his head. "Not a problem Cait. We'll figure this out, I'm sure of it. I'm actually excited about this. This estate is so old, we're still discovering new things about it."
Lucian raises and eyebrow and grins slightly. "Well, acutally we've tried just about everything we could think of in getting it open. We've tried blaster fire, using frag grenades, and anything else that was explosive. Didn't even dent the barrier at all."

"You're both welcome. It looks wonderful. Yes, I was going to ask you about that. It is hard to strike the right balance when redecorating such an old building as this. You want to update it without destroying its character. From the looks of this you found that balance." Cait says.
She takes a bite of her food and eats slowly savoring it. "My compliments to your cook. This is meal is delicious."
"Yes, I woud like to do that Lucian." Cait looks at Colin and he nods and says. "Yes, good idea. I'm sure we can."
Cait says to Nick.
"I'm positive we can, Nick. Because if it is what I think it is then we all will be excited and more." Caits nod. "Yes, it is very old if I remember right or more correctly said it is ancient. There was a reason this spot was chosen for building the manor here. The Catacombs pre-dates the manor house by several centuries at least. If I remember my history right the manor was built to protect and guard the Catacombs or what was in them. I'm sure you will, Nick. The ancient Sidhe builders never did anything half way."
"That's for sure." Colin says with a grin. "It seems to be a race trait. The more intricate and complex the better."
Cait chuckles. "I thought as much. You could set off a nuclear explosion down there and you still wouldn't break through that barrier. Lucian have you forgotten who might have built it? You have heard the stories of your ancestors. Think. What do all Sidhe ceremonies contain?"
Colin grins and answers knowing where his sister is going with this. "Music or at least singing."
Cait nods. " Right. Lucian, Did you try singing and asking it to open? In the ancient tongue of course."

~Glancing around at the staff Tenkai grins at the food as he starts to eat stopping mid mouthful as Lucian start to speak he swallows and grabs his drink listening intently~
~His orange eyes darting from speaker to speaker following each person hiding his growing confusion, Sidhe, oathbreakers by what hell were they talking about. a silent rumbling in his chest is the only sign of his annoyance at both his lack of information and his lack of any memories or specifics on things that Gin knows~
~taking a sip from his drink he sighs watching the conversation as it turns further and further away from anything he even remotely understands~

Encoded message FAO: Grand Master Caitlin Windancer
Greetings Master Windancer, My name is Mina Cyori contacting you on the behalf of Lady Khari Vestra, CEO of Kuat Drive Yards. Lady Vestra would like to meet with you regarding an issue of some weeks passed, that she believes your order should be appraised of in it’s entirety. She wishes to stress it’s importance, and the importance of your swift response - She will be travelling to Corellia within the next few days to attend a series of business meetings there, but will take time out of her schedule to meet with you also, so that you may discuss this matter in somewhat neutral surroundings, though I regret I am unable to give you anymore details on the subject at this moment in time. If the specified location inconveniences you in any way, please do not hesitate to contact me here, direct at the frequency I will send along with this message. Thank you.

Cait seeing Tenakai's confused expression she starts to explain about the Sidhe when her comm goes off. She turns it on and raises an eyebrow when she who it is from.
"Excuse me for a moment I need to take this."
She gets up and goes into a small parlor room to listen to the following message.
Cait's eyebrows raise higher and higher as she listens. When the message finishes she says to herself. "Now that is interesting. I wonder what the CEO of the KDY wants to talk to me about. I better contact her right away."
She checks the frequency that was given her in the message and dials it in to answer. She sends an encrypted message to that comm frequency.
"This acting Grandmaster Caitlin Windancer of the Jedi Order. I would of course wish to talk Lady Vestra if she has she wishes to talk about something important. Though I'm a little confused why she would want to talk to me. I don't normally have dealings with the KDY. But if there is something I could help her with I will do my best to try and help her. The only problem is I'm no where near Corellia at the moment. I'm taking care of an important security matter on Bakura and can't leave until that is taken care of. Perhaps we could arrange a meeting when I get back or could she come to Bakura? If that is not convenient maybe we could make some other arrangements to meet?"
She then waits for an answer.

A bleep drew her attention to her comlink, and she pulled it free of her pocket to cast a curious eye over the message there. It was forwarded from Mina; their reply from the Jedi order it seemed. Taking a few seconds to read it, and then re read it, Khari’s brow furrowed for a moment or two there - this was not as favourable as she might have liked, but Mina had been right to pass this along without response first.
“The Jedi are apparently too busy to deal with random acts of terrorism from their quarter.” She said with a sigh, then turned the screen around to show Tress. When she was sure he’d read it all, she keyed in the frequency. It was time they had a little talk, this Jedi and she. For an accord to be struck, they needed to deal with the matters as they arose, it was already too late for Corellia, who else had to suffer before they took stock and did something? They obviously couldn’t count on the Empire.
“Master Windancer? This is Khari Vestra, I received your message naught but a moment ago, and I was hoping we could come to some sort of arrangement about this meeting. This simply won’t wait.” She said in as plaintive a tone as possible.
“I realize you are in the middle of something and for interrupting I apologise. It’s somewhat ironic, when you consider it really, I would be doing much the same were it not for a rogue Jedi and his apprentice. The past few weeks have been trying at best, sheer outrage at worst. My homeworld’s most influential people are in uproar over how this situation has been dealt with, by the governing bodies that are supposed to protect us from just this kind of issue. The fact of the matter is, we can no more deal with this effectively, alone, than you could stop the sun from rising on the world you currently sit.” Idly she wondered if this would actually get through, if the issue that the Jedi master was currently facing had anything to do with this impending war...which brought Khari firmly to the door of her next issue. “Not a standard week after we suffered the atrocities we did, than Corellia is dealing with the same rogue Jedi in much the same way. Who do you suppose we look to to deal with these people? The empire? They have proven themselves unfit for the task and I could give you evidence to prove that theory true. Mercinaries, perhaps? It all comes with a price. Yet you...self proclaimed guardians of the peace, are too busy to deal with something that could well tip the balance of the situation on Corellia, into full scale war?” And there it was, as pointed and as plain as the hand she could have held in front of her face. “I will be on Corellia for as long as it takes to conduct my business, but this meeting should happen sooner rather than later. The Kuati people intend to take this futher, Master Windancer, I only hope that you are not standing on the wrong side of the fence when this breaks in the senate.”
On that much, she was sincere, it wasn’t a threat, just a simple fact. Corellia was under pressure on all sides and the Empire under scrutiny for what had occurred. What could be more pressing than all out war?

"Lady Vestra. I'm willing to meet with you. I'm just not sure yet what the problem is you are talking about. Part of your message was very garbled and hard to understand.
No need to apologize interruptions seem to be a constant part of my job. It must be very serious if you are contacting the Jedi Order about it. "
"Rogue Jedi and apprentice?" The frown can be heard in her voice at this. "This is news to me. I did hear of the attack on the array from a friend of mine who was there passing through; hoping to get his ship upgraded. He arrived shortly after the attack happened. He told me that there had some sort of explosion on the array. But this is the first I have heard that a Jedi was suppose to be involved."
At Khari's next words Cait says incredulously. "Excuse did you say Coreilla was attacked also by the same person? I haven't heard anything about this. But then again I have been traveling in hyperspace.
Corellia is at the brink of war? I'm sorry Lady Vestra this the first I have heard of any of this."
"No, not too busy just short handed. The galaxy is a big place and the Jedi are few. We do what we can but we can't be everywhere. I certainly would like to avert a war if possible."
"I would like to meet with you but I'm not sure how we can do it. While the business here will only take me a few days at the most to do. Where I'm at is the backend of nowhere. The closest system to Bakura is Endor and that is weeks away from here. If you have suggestion on where we could meet that would be closer and sooner. I would be happy to hear it."

"Excuse me, Master Windancer, but did you just state that you were unaware of the latest developments concerning the Corellian crisis?" She asked, almost feeling foolish for doing so, it was really that surprising. A Jedi Master - THE Jedi master - unaware of what was going on in the galaxy, wasn't something she had ever expected to hear. She didn't know how the force worked exactly, but she had imagined they would have felt something! The Jedi had always been so quick to intervene in most conflicts in the past. "That you are completely unaware of any of that which I have just told you?" The disapproval was abundantly easy to hear, and Khari wasn't ashamed to show it either. This just cemented what she had thought all along, that the Jedi turned the other cheek when it came to reining in one of their own. It would have made her blood boil under anyother circumstance, but she was required to keep a cool head.
"As for the issue with my message, perhaps the jedi should invest in more proficient upgrades in order to keep abreast of the situation in the future. Evidently, as I have just witnessed, it would be worth your while." Came the precise clipped tones of her core accented voice, she really wasn't messing around now. This one sought to give her the runaround, but she had heard every excuse in the galaxy, politics was not her chosen career for one simple reason, there was enough labyrinthine issues in her life without the senate adding to it. Her mother's career had offered her insight however. "And speaking of things worth listening to; I wished to meet and discuss the pending crisis meeting in the senate...You do realize that this could have dire consequences for your order? Whatever your opinion of me, I wished to offer to you a chance to avert this crisis before it picks up momentum, and believe me, Master Windancer...it will. Politics this poetent waits for no one, Kuat has spoken, we are most decided on this matter and someone must answer for the crimes committed in our system. I would rather that someone was Kage Dooku himself, than the whole order who refused to aid us in bringing him to justice." She had to understand how this would look, if they sat idle and allowed the Kage to repeat his actions on countless worlds.
What she didn't want to be doing was adding insult to injury. But she did nevertheless.
"I am well aware of where Bakura is, thank you very much. Do I look like the sort of person who grubs around in the dust and dirt on some backward forrest moon? Absolutely not. Endor is hardly the place for a civilised meeting, wouldn't you agree? I have property on Bespin, you and your...associates, are welcome to frequent it and meet us there. " That was as compremising as it came, she would open her home - one of them at least - to these beings, trusting that they would take care of it. And if they didn't, it was just another thing she could add to the list of discrepancies. Finally, the suite at bespin's cloud city had some use. Tress would, no doubt, enjoy that trip, there was enough going on in the various entertainment centers to keep them amused during downtime. She felt like a gamble herself.
