As Ire sits there focusing on the Force to enhance the coordination of his forces, the Emperor's concentration is rocked by the sudden sense of a dark presence nearby. Ire has enough presence of mind to not let it phase him. As Ire continues to stretch his abilities to aid his men in combat, Tuulk is taking a look at the tactical readouts on the battle the Atrocity is engaged in, the Atrocity has made short work of the Mon Gries and has made the other ships begin to retreat.
Ensign Ricky then pipes up with a report from the ship that is on a collision course with the Atrocity. "Sir, the Captain of one of the GA ships is informing us that he surrenders and that his ship isn't set to ram us but is careening out of control."
Ire doesn't say anything until the bridge shakes as the out of control ship crashes into the port bow, exploding against the Atrocity's shields. "I take it that was the ship of mention, Ensign?"
"Indeed it was, milord." Ricky replies.
"Good ridden." Tuulk says coldly.
"Pick up as many escape pods as possible, we'll need prisoners to put on trial for the GA's enjoyment." Ire says before going back to concentrating on the task at hand.
"Admiral, the enemy ships are reversing course and bugging out." A comscan officer reports.
"Cut off their escape routes with the gravity wells and pound them into submission."

The remaining GA ships beside the Nee'sha conclude operations and head at best speeds they can manage for the far end of the system. Most on the GA fleet had been in orbit of Kal'Shebbol and well out of way of the battle proper. If any of them will make it back to report this, it will dismay the GA intelligence community, for reliable reports had placed the Atrocity sitting in orbit of Carratos this very morning, there is no way that it could have made the trip so quickly. Now the GA would have to figure out when and how the RGE had built a second one of that dreaded ship, or worse if they possess more than a pair of them. The defense of all of the GA will be at risk.
As the Nee'sha changes course, still out of range of exchanging fire with the Atrocity, something appears to go wrong in attitude control. While it still travels in the same trajectory, its orientation to the galactic plane shifts, looking like it is slowly nose-diving. Even from the atrocity, lights on the ship can be seen to flicker and then go out entirely.
The two unidentified craft alter course slightly again, heading towards the Atrocity as it shields the Malignant alongside its enormous bulk. As they come in contact with the first lines of the RGE fighter screens, arcs of green energy pour forth in a continuous beam cutting a clear path for them through the fighters. The sporadic fire from the fighters as they take evasive actions that hits the inbound mystery ships seems to have no effect, though there is a tell tale flicker of some sort of shielding.

As Tuulk seems to take notice of these unidentified craft on his tactical screen, Ire breaks concentration when he realizes what they are, the Emperor's fear has become reality. The glitterning darkness has returned to the galaxy and lord only know how many have escaped their twisted realm, Ire rises calmly and places the next orders himself.
"Brake off the attack on the GA vessels and bring the second power generator online, power down all weapons except for the SICs and heavy turbolasers, disengage the gravity well projectors and divert all remaining power we have left into the shields. Target those unidentified ships... cut them down."
"Yes, milord. Tuulk says plainly, he knows better to question Ire's motives but is curious as to why they aren't pressing the attack against the GA. That is when two squadrons of fighters disappear in a flash from his screen and Tuulk knows that these ships aren't ordinary by any measure. The Atrocity crew answers back with a stone cold diligence and do what their Emperor orders, they carry their orders and the power to the Atrocity's shields triples before it begins to target the unidentified ships with its powerful weapons.
"Milord, we have a transmission coming through from the Maligant, Milla wants to know what next?" Ensign Ricky reports.
"Have him move to our starboard and land in the aft hangar bay."
"Yes sir, milord." Ensign Ricky says before sending the Maligant the an encrypted message with Ire's orders.

*Sam has the Maligant move to the Starboad side of the Atrocity and he then goes to the hanger and gets in a fighter and heads to the aft hanger bay of the Atrocity. When Sam lands he gets out and makes his way to the bridge.*

As the Aa-gizani craft come into range they start taking fire from the Atrocity's guns. The turbolaser bolts smack into the smaller ships shields displaying a brilliant light-show, but show little appreciable effect. The SICs on the other hand, are much more devastating, their initial volley extracting a heavy toll on the incoming ships. Even whatever twisted shielding those cursed craft posses, cannot protect them fully from the intense ionized plasma.
They answer in kind, the eerie green light arcing out in long streams at the Atrocity, and several secondary emplacements along the ribbed looking hulls, open up. These flickering blue-white balls of energy down at the mammoth vessel as they continue to close.
The one, that if it continues on course will pass on the starboard side of the Atrocity, releases four small fighter sized objects, they are fuzzy upon the sensors, possibly a cloaking of some sort. They are small-fighter sized and very fast.
One blasts of the Atrocity's turbo-lasers manage to catch one of the 4 missiles, it explodes into a near kilometer sized sphere of perfect darkness before polarizing and collapsing upon itself, the gravitational readings of the sensors show it to be a minor singularity, thankfully of short duration, though a lingering gravity well will exist for some time.
Weeks from now, some academic individual will work out the readings and propose a theory connecting this with some of the unexplained hyperspace anomalies that occur around the galaxy.

The Atrocity is rocked by a series nasty decompressions as the shots from the Aa-gizani ships along port side, the main and secondary weapons these ships have are powerful indeed to bypass shields but its nothing the Atrocity cant handle, that is when sensors pick up the missiles. Tuulk is about to bring the information to the Emperor when Ire shifts strategy mid step. "Power down the heavy turbolasers and concentrate fire on the two frigates."
"Milord, we have incoming missiles, gunners have taken one out and now a small... singularity being detected." Tuulk informs Ire.
"Destroy them before they make contact." Ire orders; the SICs roar to life with more power and concentrates fire against the frigates and the launched missiles to destroy them. Ire stands and walks over to the view port to witness the immanent destruction of the Aa-gizani ships.

As they close the Aa-gizani missiles are picked off until no more remain, the last exploding at unnervingly close range. That they were fast and very difficult to track is an attestation to the volume of fire poured at them.
Both craft begin to alter course in an effort to break off the attack, though it is too late. The increased and concentrated fire of the Atrocity devastate large portions of both craft on the sides facing the Atrocity. As he steps to the view port, Ire's timing is rewarded as one of the craft seems to come apart at the seams, wracked by internal explosions.
The other ship continues to fire its weapons as it begins distancing itself, but in mere moments it appears the battering it has suffered has stripped it of its ability to fight. It drifts onwards for a bit before it too begins to break up as it is continually hammered.
As the debris cloud of the two vessels expand in the silence of space, it appears for the moment that there are no other threats, the Alliance vessels that remain are seem to be well out of range, having taken the initiative to bug out with alacrity while the Atrocity's attention was diverted. The Nee'sha sits off in the near distance drifting at an odd angle, shields and lights offline. This is odd, since the damage that can be seen does not warrant its condition.

Konstai's eyes flutter open and he looks around surveying the odd location he has found himself in. Confused at first, he tries to rise but realizes this will not be a practical feat as he feels the heavy sedative drugs coursing through his system.
He lies peacefully and contentedly, a smile even forming across his twisted visage, blissfully he concentrates in the force and inches and nudges his flesh into healing, thankful of the drugs that make this process so much less painful as is tissues knit back together.
It seems that somewhere along the line of this process he fell asleep, for when he wakes, it is to a much busier medical bay. Doctors and droids scurry around as injured are brought in, something is definitely going on since in the distance he can hear alarms sound and maybe even the distant crump of warfare. He is still on the same ship, not only are the uniforms Imperial but he can still feel the power of the ship. He had not expected it when he had stepped off his own in the hanger bay, who had ever heard of something like that before. But all of this was of no matter, and once again he concentrates in the force and the drugs bead out of his system through his skin. A waft of the alkaline smell now emanating from him gets the attention of a nurse to his side working on the patient in the next bed.
As she spins she is met face-to-face with Konstai's rictus grin.
"It is alright, I am a doctor"
The shock of it, appears to have been too much for her and she collapses upon the floor with a sigh. It may have also had to do with the fact he had inadvertently stuck her with the IV tubes he had removed from his own arm as well. But this was of no matter to him, there were the injured to care for, and these people clearly needed his help. He steps over the girl on the floor, a pretty thing, he will have to talk with her later when she is more chatty, and begins tending to the wounded crewman on the bed.

On the bridge of the Atrocity; Tuulk acknowledges Lt. Milla with a nod as he approaches Emperor Ire with a battle assessment on the engagement. "The GA ships are retreating, milord and the unidentified craft have been destroyed. We have prevailed victorious, Emperor."
"One might think that..." Ire begins to say as the Force warns him that this matter is far from over, the Emperor knows the Aa-gizani aren't defeated so easily. Ire wonders what the Aa-gizani are playing at, was this just a test or is there a larger picture at stake... or maybe only a few broke the veil of this plane. Ire can sense this incident is only the beginning of a long mystery. "... I believe we have but only had our first encounter with the glittering darkness."
"How poetic, milord." Tuulk replies in sincere tone, never hearing Ire speak so philosophically.
"It wasn't meant to be poetic but a warning. Take stock of the damage here, order an air patrol to stay here and help our Imperialist supporters and prepare the Atrocity to take us back to Carratos, Admiral. We will send a larger force here once we arrive." Ire says gravely as he rises from the command chair, and begins to head to his quarters. "Oh, Lt. Milla, I want your full report on what happened here with your engagement of the GA fleet; all video and tactical data that is salvageable should be included. I'm... glad... to see you survived."
Ire then leaves the bridge for the solitude of his quarters, much had to be thought on about this encounter. Something must be done about the Aa-gizani if they have passed into this realm, they will unleash a hell unlike anything the Yuuzhan Vong managed to and Ire doesn't want that to happen. These thoughts swirl in the Emperor's mind as he approached the doors to his quarters, when the doors open to nothing but a pitch black room with only the massive shape of Ire's shadow highlighted by the light off the hallway Ire calmly walks into the center and kneels in meditation. As the doors close and all light fades from the room, Ire sits in total darkness as he contemplates the Aa-gizani threat, the Emperor realizes he isn't the only being in the room. "I wondered when I would be seeing one of you."
"I am glad to not keep you waiting, you must be ready to except your sealed fate." A voice from the darkness called as a pair of glowing eyes pierce it.
"I think you've mistaken me for a common weakling, it is your fate that was sealed the moment you entered this room... Aa-gizani." Ire says with a coyness in his voice as the Atrocity jumps back to Carratos.

Rajnish's shuttle comes out of hyperspace, just behind the Emperor's flagship. He hits his comlink making a secure call.
"Emperor, request to land and I would like to take a squad of fighters an drop ships to board the nearest ship."
Rajnish thinks he was too late the battle was over but now is the time to crush them.
