Corey smiles as he backs up to give them more room. He crosses his arms to watch the Master teach her paddy. Corey loves a good battle even when a paddy can sometime surprise their master with a move or two. He thought of his own Paddy back when he was younger that got him with a couple of good moves but he still ended up winning.
"Master, I know you are a healer but I have seen you duel and I would always love to be your wing man in any duel."
Still teasing he steps back once more to watch.

*Kevin finishes his warm-up and decides to go join Jade and Corey and the other young man, obviously Jade's Padawan. He flashes them as smile.*

*Kevin watches Jade work with her Padawan.*

*Janus brings his saber up into a defensive stance and begins with a simple overhand slash from Jade's right shoulder to her left hip. He notices the other man, whom Janus recognized from the garden, come over and stand near Corey, but doesn't pay too much attention, keeping his focus on his training with Jade. Janus follows with a thrust towards Jade's left thigh.*

Corey hears Kevin, he turns and bows to him.
"Never my friend, and how are you?"
Corey stands back up as he catches Janus from the corner of his eye as he moves closer to Kevin.

*Jade flips her saber in a circle knocking Janus for hitting any of her*
No dear one I said try to knock my saber out of my hand. I want to prove a point hun.
*She winks and steps back once again holding her saber in a lose wrist. She nods to Kevin.*

*Kevin smiles wider and watches as Jade's student strikes at Jade as they begin the training exercise. He turns to Corey.*
I've been doing alright, Corey. Been all over the place in terms of where I should be, but that's why I'm here. I needed a quiet place to just think and figure myself out. How've you been doing?
*Kevin turns back to Jade when she says that he's always welcome.*

Corey listens to Kevin, and nods as he finish explaining why he was here. He smiles as he wanted to tell him the whole story but there will be time for that later he thought.
"Well Master Kenobi, I am here for the same reason. I came here to relax and train. But I was told that I should not try to raise my Force Powers until I can control them."
His face goes to quick frown as for the thought that someone else told him he was out of control. He placed his arms behind his back as he finished his comment.
"Other than that Master Kenobi, just wanted to watch Master Jade train an maybe pick up a trick or two from her."
Corey looks at Jade to see a smirk on his face teasing her once again.

*Janus steps back after having his blade knocked back by Jade. He holds it at his side.*
I'm sorry, Master.
*He brings his blade back up and this time Janus strikes directly at Jade's lightsaber with his own going from his left to his right.*

*She gives a grin and with a lose wrist turns her saber in a circle motion twirling both blades around.*
When one is battling it is always best to be fluid with the saber. The saber is light and light bends and flexes. It does much more damage and heat then a blade could ever do. To use it like a blade would be foolish. Keep your fingers tight so it can not be knocked out of your hand but keep your wrist loose, so you can move with more motion. That is the first step to saber fighting. In some actions it is more like dance, then a fight. Dancing is fluid being aware of your body and how it moves. Knowing it's weakness and it's strength. Training your body over and over causes the muscles to learn the motions so you can perform them without thought. Just like dancing. Do you understand?

*Janus steps back after Jade knocks his blade aside with her own and listens as she explains more about the nature of lightsaber fighting. When she mentions it being more like a dance, he thinks of times when he had attended formal parties with his father and watching the people dance, and how fluid their movements were, and Janus found the notion of saber combat as a dance intriguing. He looks at Jade and nods.*
Yes Master. I think I do.

Corey nods to agree Jade as he continues to speak as he moves to keep giving them room. He walks just behind Janus as he speaks
"Yes, it is a dance but the ideal is to get them to dance to your beat. To make them move where you need them to be in order to win. Remember, you start out with theirs but to win you must make them move to yours."
Corey places his arms behind his backs as he watches them both closely.

*Kevin watches as Jade trains with her student, and smiles when he hears Jade and then Corey explain a little more about the finer points of lightsaber combat. He remembers back to when he first started training with his lightsaber, and how his music helped him to get better because he found it easy to find a beat and knew how to move with it. Kevin starts humming quietly to himself as he continues to watch Jade train her student.*

*Jade gives Janus a soft grin and goes back into form III Stance.*
Now it is time to fight. You may move first. Do not hit anything vital. We are Jedi not Sith.
*She winks at Corey and nods*
But as I am the Master poor Janus will have to dance my tune.
*Her green eyes look back at Janus and her face goes calm. Her eyes swirl with silver as she watches him through the force*

Corey watches Jade as she winks at him, he smiles as he begins to move slowly behind Jade making his way to the other side to watch Janus. As he was near Jade he whispered softly to her.
((That one is special Jade, best to watch him. Like how I am watching you.))
Corey smile as his eye caught hers as he now stands behind Janus.

*Janus nods and takes up a defensive stance, holding his blade in front of his with two hands. He begins with a quick horizontal slash aimed at her lightsaber hilt in an attempt to quickly disarm her. He can also sense Corey standing behind him, so Janus makes a mental note to be careful when moving backward so he doesn't run into Corey.*

*She smiles at his action glad he was following the Jedi actions of trying to disarm first not cause pain or injury. She flips her hand casting a slight force push and steps back. If the force push works she will then try to spin her saber in and down trying to glance his left shoulder with the saber in her right hand*

*Janus is caught by surprise by the Force Push, and he loses his grip on his lightsaber. He sees Jade's blade coming and uses the Force to bring his blade back into his hand. Janus ignites it just in the nick of time and brings his saber up and bats Jade's blade away. Janus then moves to make an overhand slash at Jade's right shoulder.*

Corey makes a slight move to the rear to give Janus room as he smiles just when Jade makes her move. He watches as the saber flies back to Janus hand, Corey thinks to himself as he continues to move out of their way.
(Janus, has the making with the help of Jade to be a good Jedi. (smiles) She still has her moves, even as a healer she is still strong in dueling.)
Corey looks over at Kevin as he finally moves out of their way and nods as he crosses his arms wanting to draw his saber to join in on the fun.

*Kevin watches as the duel between Jade and Janus begins. He smiles as he watches the young Jedi fight, and notices that while tentative with his movements, Janus has the makings of a solid duelist. Kevin notices Corey's nod and moves over to him.*
Watching them makes me want to draw my blade and practice a little. Care to duel me, my friend?
