Yavin IV: Jedi Fitness & Training Center/Gym

[Caitlin Windancer]

The facility is located in between the new Jedi Temple and the Massassi Command Temple. It is near the Jedi Academy and is considered part of the Academy. It serves as a place to practice or train or hone one's fighting skills or physical strength or agility. There are trainers and teachers available for those who need them.

There are two locker rooms, one for males and one for females. In one section of the facility, it has excercise equipment and weight sets. There are individual rooms for sparring or lessons. It also has two larger main rooms for the same thing or group lessons.

On the other side of the facility near the exercise and weight rooms is a large room with a large heated indoor pool and several hot tubs. In the same area is also a sauna for those who wish to relax after their training or relieve their aches and pains.

[Corey Dooku]

Corey finishes his run as he came out on a gym, he looks inside and really not alot of people was in. So he entered and was looking around, as a service droid approached him.

"Now this is what I call a gym. I will have to tell Grandmaster Windancer they have it nice here."

He heads over to the weight room, he starts his weight training. His thoughts starts to clear for all he can see was him and those weights. The more he pushed himself with the weights the more his minded felt clear. After a hour of lifting he showered and jump into the pool and started his 2 mile smile. Once Corey was done he gets out as his muscles started to tight from the swim and jumps into the sauna

"Man, now I feel great. One more place to go before I head back to my room."

Corey showers and jump back into his workout clothes and heads out.

[Corey Dooku]

Corey once again returns to the training room, this time he heads to the far back into a room to work on his force powers. He closes his eyes as he uses the force to move a stand to the center of the room. He turns an backs up and turns around, he pulls his arms in then throws them out with Force push.

The stand moves like before, as if he has not gained any strength. He stands there and starts clearing his mind bring his hand in once more but this time it was more forceful. The stand went fling into the wall, making a hole in the wall.

Corey smiles as he walks over and inspects the damage he just caused. A service droid comes in and starts making repairs. He think its time to go outside and practice. He heads outside and leaves the training room

[Jade Albright]

*She walks in and slips off her cloak. She pins up her hair and places her saber on her hip holster.*
What about saber fighting do you know?

[Jorj'anu'sabosen]

*Janus pulls his lightsaber off his belt and holds it in his left hand.*

To be honest, I don't really know much about fighting with a blade in general, so I'm a complete beginner.

[Jade Albright]

*She nods and with a snap hiss her teal blade glows.*
One thing to keep in mind at all times is the force. It is nice to have it but to lean on it all times is a dangerous thing. There are things out there that the enemy will use to deaden us to the force. So we must train as hard as we can to fight with out it, just in case.
*She twirls her saber in a clock wise motion*
As Jedi we take the defensive position. We try to wear down our combats the object is not to kill them, but to disable them. DO you understand?

[Jorj'anu'sabosen]

*Janus listens as Jade explains the need to not rely alot on the Force during a fight, and how Jedi approach them. He nods.*

I believe so, Master.

*Janus ignites his blade, a brilliant sapphire blue, and holds it at his side in his left hand.*

[Jade Albright]

*She moves back and goes into Form II. Her saber is out and extending her grip is loose and her eyes watch him intently*
Try to get me to drop my saber, but remember at first we are not using force powers

[Corey Dooku]

Corey once again enters the gym, but he senses someone he has not seen in a long time. He comes in quietly and takes a seat and watches. He places his hood over his head and crosses his arms. He slowly cuts himself off from the force, to not show that he was still a little upset.

[Jade Albright]

*Jade takes in a deep breath waiting. Her skin prickles and she turns. Her eyes warm and a soft smile fills her lips*
Corey what a pleasure it is to see you again. How are you?
*She frowns sensing something might be off but not sure. Her eyes flicker back to Jor.*

[Corey Dooku]

Corey stands and remove his hood and crosses his arms. He bows to Jade while doing so he speaks trying to be nice.

"Master Albright, the pleasure is all mine. Its not often I get to see someone as lovely as you that often. (smiles) Its been too long since we last seen each other. (Uncrosses his arms) So, have you been upto lately Master Jedi?"

Corey stands back up, placing his hands behind his back watching Jade and her student.

[Jade Albright]

*Her green eyes flicker back to Corey confused*
Is something wrong Corey you seem abit edgy?
*She grins and watches Jor*
I am ok it is too quiet around here.

[Corey Dooku]

Corey continues to stand there watching them both, his eye was cold but Jade did see right through it. He offers another smiles to easy the stress he has been feeling lately.

"Yes, I am on edge Master Jedi. Its been one thing then another, KDY was first then my living ship Selena and now another area did something to her and now GrandMaster Windancer is upset about the hole in the wall on the other side of the gym."

You could start to hear in his voice that things was getting him, as he once again crosses his arms and you could hear them tighted up with each word that rang from his mouth. His grip on his arms too turned alittle red at the tips from his grip. Corey gave no sign of pain, but he did continue to speak.

"Well, they got what was coming to them even though I did not do anything but returned Selena back home. But I am afraid that she is nothing more that a ship that is made of flesh now. I am waiting from my Tech team to send me a report. I came here to relax and work on my making my force powers stronger. (deep breath) Even here among the Jedis, I can get them upset and that was suppose to be hard. (Laughs) But I will wait for GrandMaster to cool off before I try to speak to her again."

Walks over and grabs a training saber. His eyes follow it as he moved slowly from one hand to the next, now you can see he had become relaxed once more. He then turns the blade on as his eyes light up like a child on his birthday waiting to get his gifts. His back is to Jade but he slowly turns towards them, still watching the training saber blade.

[Jade Albright]

*Jade holds out a hand to Jor as if saying one moment. She moves to Corey and places a hand on his shoulder*
I am sorry these things happened to you. I know how much that ship meant to you. GM Cait is under a lot of stress. Why don't you stay here with me as I train Jor? I would love the company.
*She gives him a warm smile and walks to Jor*
This is Master Corey, Jor. Corey this is my paddy Jor. He is very bright and quick on his feet he is doing well.
*She winks at Jor*

[Corey Dooku]

Corey smiles as he walks a couple feet over to Jor, and bows to him as he hood falls on his head. Corey lifts it back off and holds out a hand to Jor.

"Its a pleasure to meet you Jor, please call me Corey. Master is too formal for me. (laughs alittle, Looks at Jade) You know I think I will hang around here with you and watch you train, Master Jedi.(smiles)"

Corey takes another step back as he places his arms behind his back.

"Yes, Selena means the world to me. But I guess she too I will have to let go. (Coughs)"

Corey changes the subject

"So Master Jade, what are you training on today?"

Corey pulls off his cloak still wearing his training outfit under his cloak. He was a large human with battle scares all over his body that can be seen. The one over his right eye is the one you can see the most. He tosses his cloak over and cracks his neck and back as if he was the one about to train.

[Jorj'anu'sabosen]

*Janus takes a few practice swings with his lightsaber to get the feel for the weapon before turning to face Jade. He notices the other guy come in and is intrigued by the way the man feels in the Force. Janus doesn't pay much mind to the conversation between the man and Jade, but when Jade introduces Janus to him, he turns and bows to Corey, a smile on his face when he hears what Jade said about him.*

Pleasure to meet you, Corey.

*Janus's trained medical eye notices a number of scars on Corey's upper body, which he assumes has come from a fair number of fights the man has been in. Janus doesn't pay them alot of mind and instead returns his focus to the training.*

[Kevin Kenobi]

*Kevin walks in and sets his guitar down against the wall and begins to stretch. He notices a hole in the wall, which he is slightly curious about, as well as two Jedi and Corey, one of his good friends from his days as a Grey Jedi. Kevin stays to the far side of the training center, away from the group so he doesn't disturb their training session.*

[Jade Albright]

*Her eyes go sad at his scars having seen some of the battles that caused them she turns her head.*
I am teaching my paddy the finer points of saber training. How sabers should be used more like swords and when fighting we should try to use the force as little as possible. I am first going to get him comfortable with the saber and then move to Form I, then Form II and then Finally Form II. The others will be taught to him when he makes Knight. All thought to be honest I love Form III.
*Her saber is out and extending her grip is loose and her eyes watch him intently*
As I said at the beginning of this try to get me to drop my saber, but remember at first we are not using force powers.
*She senses Kevin and gives a grin*

[Corey Dooku]

Corey watches Jade as she talks about dueling, he did sense her feelings but he smiles to let he know he is fine. He looks at Jor

"That is a good form, but no two duel alike. Even if Master Jade and myself was in a duel both of our form III would be different. But me I like form II. (smiles)"

He also sense Master Kevin, so he wonders why Kevin is so far away. Corey turns his head towards him then back to Jade. He then took a couple steps back to give them room to train.

"Well Master, let me see if you still have the moves. (Smiles)"

[Jade Albright]

*Jade looks at Corey and nods her head.*
Very good What Corey said is true, we all learn the forms the same way but, we put our own flair to them.
*She turns back to Janus and smirks*
Now Corey you know my passion is healing not fighting, stop teasing me.
*She winks*
