Are we at the Brink of War?
Reports have come in that the Fondor System has likewise seceded from the Galactic Alliance and has petitioned to join into the newly formed Corellian Confederation.
The Galactic Alliance has decreed this is a matter of security for them, citing the programs contracted with Fondor as an ongoing part of their ability to provide security and protection for the galaxy and to protect their key interests of their citizens.
Corellia has responded stating that they believe it is the free will and choice of any system to join or refuse to join with another governmental entity, and will act or assist those who seek to exercise this right.
The RGE has made no formal declaration, however reinforcements have been appearing at Kal -Shebbol and military maneuvers appear to be underway under the label of a "training excersize".
There are rumors circulating in the Corporate Sector Authority that they may renounce their territorial status with the Galactic Alliance. This rumor is given more than a significant point of validity, since two Corellian warfleets have appeared in the region running patrol operations.
Damage and Casualty reports from the Battle at Fondor have not been released at this time. Stay tuned for more details.
