The assistant steps forward and hands one of the datapads to Talvan who spends a moment going through it, before handing it to Zairon.
"Here, this should be a sufficient proposal, take that back to your Emperor and see if he approves of it. I would prefer he send another agent of his to discuss any changes."

Zairon takes the datapad and glances at it before pocketing it. "A third time I'll ask, is any of the information about the Rendilli system able to be used?"

"Your continued pressing of the matter disheartens me, of course feel free to vilify them for how they spend their ill-gotten taxes, but pressing the matter of possessing super-weapons will do you more harm than good, mark my words."

"I wouldn't need to press the matter if you were more open and willing to give answers. If you want this war to happen then we need as much information as possible to help move things along." Zairon states trying to keep from losing his temper. "Considering how much you don't want certain information told, I need to know specifics so that this alliance doesn't get ruined because you weren't clear."
Zairon turns, "So then, we can mention this fleet, prove they have been dishonest about raising money to help planets, and we can move into destroy it as long as we don't mention them having super weapons." Zairon nods, "Was that really so hard?"

Zairon left the man and headed back to his Tie Phantom carrying the datapad on his belt. He was glad to be done dealing with the arrogant Talvan. He ran some ideas through his mind about having Shadow assassinate the man once the war was started. As much as Zairon disliked the Corellian, he was necessary until the war started. Once the war was started Shadow could pretend to be a GA agent and assassinate the man, thus strengthening Corellia's reason for being in the war and possibly encouraging them to be willing to fight harder.
As Zairon walked to his ship he kept his force senses up and alert. He didn't trust the man not to try something. Ever since his comments about not wanting the data about the secret fleet released, Zairon had been worried the man would try to kill him. Deep within Centerpoint Station and without his weapons, Zairon knew he would need the force in case the man made his move.
As he walked and kept an eye out for anyone following him, he drew his datapad and sent an encrypted message using the same code that Lady Shana had sent to him with the information. The message was simple, but still heavily encrypted so only Shana could translate it.
Zairon then added a couple attachments to the message and sent it.
After walking for a bit longer, Zairon arrived back in the hanger where his ship was. He glanced around looking for anyone watching him in the force and walked over to the ship and began an inspection of the outside.

***Out of order because someone was apparently in a hurry to leave ***
"It is anyone's guess what your Emperor will chose to do with it, and it is not my place to dictate how you wish to go about conducting your smear campaign against the Alliance. I think now it is best if you take the proposed treaty back to your Emperor and see what can be arranged, it is apparent that our continued discussion of the matter is stalled.
Let us get you back to your ship and on your way."
Talvan turns and gestures to his guards and assistant that the meeting is concluded, and they all head with Zairon back down toward the hanger he arrived in.
*** skip ahead to hanger ***
The hanger was much how it had been when he arrived, scattered work crews, a few security officers clearly bored with their detail until Talvan and Zairon entered the hanger and they did their best impression of looking as if they had been alert all along. There was a YT-2400 parked in the hanger that had not been there before, it was being unloaded on it's far side from Zairon's Phantom. A work crew was apparently just finishing up topping off the fuel of the Executors ship for his return to Carratos.
Talvan gives a disapproving shake of his head, "How you can stand to spend so many hours in something little better than a snub fighter is beyond me. It is probably a good thing then your not staying long enough for a meal and drinks to fresh yourself, that would be most uncomfortable."
While Zairon is inspecting his ship and looking for people watching him, there does not seem to be anything obviously out of place, most of the people in the hanger are either occupied in their tasks, and those few showing interest in Zairon are doing so out of a general curiosity as to what is up, they seem to be paying an equal amount of attention to Talvan himself, as people who do not often get to see well known political figures tend to do.
The youngish Corellian that was the hose-jockey for refueling the Phantom, smiles at Zairon weakly, aside from the nervousness of a run-of-the-mill worker encountering the Executor of the Empire, there is nothing duplicitous about him.
Of the ship itself, the left landing strut looks extra clean, but nothing else seems out of place externally on the ship. Aside from the extra attention to detail to certain niceties one would expect of a well trained hanger crew; the ship wiped down, canopy cleaned, and the fuel topped off; everything was right were he left it including his lightsaber and blaster right where he left them.
When Zairon notices the shiny strut, the hose-jockey notices, sputtering out an explanation, "The main-strut was leaking fluid bad enough to drip on the floor, we replaced the faulty fitting and topped it back up, we don;t have the pressure specs for that one, so we set it at the standard for a ship this weight, not sure if it is right. You might want your own crew to check its pressure." His explanation given, he turns back to coiling up the hose to the fuel unit.
There is no trackers, unusual packages or other item in or around the landing strut enclosure when he inspects it.
Talvan steps forward, "Are you expecting a Corellian to have stowed away in there? I trust our crew has not tampered with anything, the very thought of sabotaging a ship is usually quite abhorrent to most of us."

"Is that right?" Zairon ask looking at the boy. "Well I suppose I should thank you for the notice." He says, although his voice is serious.
Zairon listens to Talvan run his mouth and doesn't speak until he finishes checking his ship. The man was seeming even more suspicious, trying to belittle and stop him from examining it. "One can never be to safe during times such as this." Zairon says. "Better to be safe then to end up dead."
Zairon then turns, "As for the size, it grows on you. Small snubfighters like this feel like an extension. Despite what anyone claims, I've yet to see a freighter or anything other than a snubfighter feel like an extension of my body and will." He said, "It isn't always the most comfy ship, but it feels right and that's what matters." Zairon says with a shrug.
"Now them, I shall give this treaty to the Emperor and allow him to judge it and work out minor details. Have a good day." Zairon says as he climbs up into the pilot seat. Once he was out of sight he frowned. Something didn't seem right. He always paid close attention to the maintenance of his Tie Phantom and it had been checked out and serviced while he was on Carratos before he had headed to Corellia. He highly doubted the RGE had missed something like that.
However, at the same time he couldn't take apart his ship and make any accusations without proof if he wanted this treaty to stay together. You keep up this little game Talvan, I'll be making a stop pretty quickly to examine my ship once I'm out of your sight... He thinks as he looks out the tinted glass at the man. He straps his lightsaber back to his belt and holsters his blaster. Then he reaches behind the seat and pulls out the Imperial knight mask he didn't normally wear.
He planned on landing his ship soon after he left Corellia, and he doubted the man would risk anything as long as Zairon was still in the system, however he wanted to make sure. With the mask and the armor sealed he would be able to exist in a vacuum for a short amount of time until his air supply ran out. If he needed to, he could hit the ejection seat and go into a trance to slow down his use of air.
Once Zairon was ready, he powered up his ship, keeping one hand on the ejection button and left Centerpoint Station.

Talvan listens to his reply quietly, and crosses his hands in front of him, as Zairon starts to climb into the cockpit of his ship.
"I had no idea you were such a pilot, perhaps in another life we would have gotten along better. Have a enjoyable journey Zairon, and thank you..."
Their is a hint of a smile on Talvan's face before his finger pushes the button on the wristband he wears. Simultaneously, the datapad given to Zairon and now resting upon his hip and the auxiliary pump on the fuel-unit beep once and then explode.
* Camerashot outside Centerpoint Station *
There is a brief bloom of light from a point on the side of the massive structure, as a fireball erupts from a series of hangers set into the "tail" of the structure. It would be a short while before the fires could be put out and the entire system goes to high alert, but within the hour the the speculations of foul play run rampant through the system. It is announced officially that Talvan Kells, Vice Minister of the Five Worlds died in the explosion along with other important figures that have not had their names yet released.

Suddenly Zairon's senses tingle as the force warns him of danger. His eyes went wide as his hands climbed up into his ship. Already? He thought as he quickly spun his head, drawing on the force to speed up his movements and make it seem like time had slowed. As his head turned he saw the man press a button on his wrist. He quickly pushed away from his ship expecting it to explode as he got ready to draw on the force to lessen the explosion as much as possible.
Zairon hadn't expected the man to attack this early and he was caught off guard. As Zairon pushed off from his ship suddenly he head a beep from his belt and looked down in time to see it explode. The bright blast of light from the fire burned his eyes as Zairon felt himself go blind at the same time as he felt his right leg explode in pain. Even with his armor, he knew it wouldn't be enough as that close the burn and shrapnel would cause massive damage.
Zairon quickly drew in on the force to throw up a barrier to shield him as much as possible as he used the force to absorb as much heat as possible. Underneath him where Talvan was he felt another massive explosion left him up in the air. The man had a bomb on him as well? But those two explosions were the lightest yet as suddenly a massive shockwave and impact sent Zairon flying across the hanger and he impacted the wall hard. His vision started to fade as his blind and damaged mind tried to figure out what the last powerful explosion had been caused by. As fires burned in the hanger he could feel it close to him, burning him. He felt shrapnel in his stomach and left leg, and arms. He couldn't feel his right leg and he couldn't see. He could tell by the pressing weight on him that either something had fallen on him or his armor had been dented into him and was crushing him even more.
Even with all his powers lessening the damage he felt burnt, cut, injured, and he knew death would come soon since he was fading out and couldn't stop himself from losing conscious as the entire hanger burned around him.

Only a few minutes before, Lady Shana arrived in the Corellian system inside her Tie Phantom. She crossed her arms and grumbled as she waited to hear where to meet Zairon.
However, her waiting was soon interrupted as she parts of Centerpoint Station explode and felt a sharp pain in the force stab her in the heart. Her eyes went wide and without thinking the Head of the Imperial Knights slammed on the thrusters to race the Tie Phantom towards where she sensed Zairon.
"Oh god...oh god oh god oh god..." She said as she threw all power to the engines. She could feel the strain on the Tie Phantom as it was pushed past its limits. "Don't be dead...don't be dead...please don't be dead..." She said as tears started to fill her eyes. "We never worked things out...we can work things out...I...I..." Her voice was a mixed combination of repetition, rambling, and sobbing. "Please...if you're alive...I promise we can work it out..."
Still feeling the strain, Shana heard something snap, but she didn't care and kept pressing the Tie Phantom. She could repair it later whatever it was. As she raced to Centerpoint Station tears continued to fill her eyes. As soon as possible, the Tie Phantom arrived and quickly flew into the hanger as it slowed down quickly, once again putting a strain on the ship. Another pop was heard as the Tie Phantom slammed hard onto the firey deck.
Quickly, Lady Shana jumped out of the Tie Phantom, not taking time to lower the ladder and hit the deck. It was hot and burning and the smoke hurt her eyes and made it hard to breath. "ZAIRON!" She called between coughs, "ZAIRON!" Her eyes were watering even more now as smoke stung her eyes. She quickly looked over the hanger as she stepped over dead bodies and corpses screaming as they burned.
Shana reached out in the force to find Zairon while calling out more. "Where are you..." She mumbled before sensing a very weak and dimming out presence in the force. She followed it through the smoke and over rubble and eventually saw Zairon slumped and not moving. "ZAIRON!" She yelled as she ran over. But the Executor didn't reply.
Quickly she dropped down and tried to put out as much of the fire on him as possible by smothering it with her hands. Her hands burned, but she eventually was able to put out or remove as much of the fire as possible.
She looked over at the man and saw his right leg blasted all the way down to the bone and his armor dented into him. Pieces of shrapnel filled his body and burns were all over him. "Oh god..." She mumbled as she felt his pulse. "Come on...oh thank god..." She said feeling a very weak pulse. "I...I can't heal this much..." She said as she tried to pick him up as gently as possible. Half-carrying, half-dragging Shana moved Zairon closer to her ship. Between the fire and smoke getting worse and the rubble that kept falling it was nearly impossible. But eventually she arrived at her Tie Phantom and used the force to lift him up into it.
By now the smoke war hurting her longs and Shana broke out into a severe coughing fit, but succeeded at getting him into the ship. She then jumped up into it with him and powered the ship back up to leave. However, as she tried to lift off, nothing happened. Fear filled her as she began to worry she had over pushed the ship. She tried again and still nothing happened. However, the third time the ship sputtered to life and weakly lifted off, wobbling as it powered up to leave the hanger.
Damaged, but still able to fly, Shana quickly pulled out of the station and headed towards the most direct route to hyperspace as she punched coordinates in. "Shit...Carratos is too far and he's too badly along..." Shana mumbled trying to find somewhere to take him where he could get healing as soon as possible. As she quickly looked through coordinates she frowned as she realized what the best option was. With a groan, she punched in the coordinates and launched into hyperspace.
She knew she should tell Ire right away, but at the moment all she cared about was getting Zairon the attention he needed.
