Alliance In Financial Crisis? - Mandalorians Sack Bothawui
Rumors of the ongoing financial turmoil of the GA has surfaced again, and overnight rumors of a secret back-room bailout surfaced. However this morning, one of the potential benefactors mentioned in these rumors, The IGU seems to ba having trouble all of their own as a riot has broken out at their headquarters when the bank froze customers assets and refuse to allow them access. Local law-enforcement is now becoming involved.
Stocks on the Grand Trading floor plummeted this morning with news of the IGU's instability. The Galactic Banking Clan has not released funds to stem this morning's crash. In the last half hour there has been a bit of a rally as three private concerns vie over the lowered price of stocks. Our sources will not divulge the names of these concerns, but controlling interest in at least 3 shipbuilding concerns have changed hands at least once this morning.
In other news, the once mighty Bothan fleet burns in the Bothan Space after a surprise raid by a sizable force of Mandalorians. No communications have come out of the Bothan capital, and fragmentary news from scattered sources have stated that the use of anti-matter munitions had been detected in the early hours of the morning.
