I'm usually sent in first to do a looksee to see if stronger measures are needed or not before Lord Ire sends in someone else to take care of business. He doesn't want to waste the time of his best operatives on the trival matters I determine that.
Oh, very interesting at times my dear Shadow. Sometimes not so much. She takes another sip of her drink. Some of the people I have to talk can be rather.... boring and ... grabby. I don't mind the grabby so much I can deal with that but I hate being bored. Some people's conversation can really put you to asleep, present company excepted. She says with a flirtatious grin. Ah yes, I remember now why I was there Lord Ire wanted me to find out something about a certain "organization" to see if they were going to become a problem or a possible ally. I learned later you were sent in afterwards to infiltrate them on the strength of what I found out. So it seems we have worked together before though we didn't know it.

This is just the appetitizer.

She feels a slight a tremor in the Force just before Shadow says.
"He's speaking to me through the Force. I'll find out what he wants."
Indeed? Now, that is interesting and odd. I can sense him now I couldn't before. He has a strong darkside presence. She says softly as she waits while Shadow tries to contact the hooded figure. She tries to sense through the Force if his Force presence is familiar.
She knows most of the Empire's Force sensitive operatives due to her work for the Emperor. If he works for the Empire she should be able to recognize him unless he is new.

Rajnish hears Shadow as he spoke to him through the force, his red eye stops under his hood as to the question he asked him. He stands up slowly as he moves towards the bar, not seating close to them to draw more attention to them. He slowly takes a seat as the seat starts to give way to his weight from his Cyborg body. He turn his hood head towards the them an speak.
“Yes, I am a member and no he did not send me. I do come and go as I please, but something had drawn me to this place. I just find it odd to run into you and this woman, call it a coincidence or call it a destiny. We all are here for a reason, the reason is unknown at the moment but it will come clear very soon.”
Rajnish stares at the woman as his claw like hands come from under his sleeves as he move his hood back far enough for her to see his true face. His red eye fixed on her face as it then starts to move once more as he hood is replaced.
“That is why I have my hood on.”
His voice as cold to in remark about his hood, an then he touch his button under his sleeve as his presence is cut off from the force. The panel moves back into place as he stands up.
“Something has brought us all to this place, but do you not find it odd that you were sent here? (Looks at the woman) For you to run into him as well does not seem odd. I do not need of assistance from either of you as of yet. (pause) I will find my clue to why.”
Rajnish turns as he heads deeper into the Casino leaving them to wonder.

He glances over at Rajnish and sees the metallic. "Hmm, seems like he's some kind of cyborg." He whispers to Chantia. "Interesting. That's what the hooded robe is for, to conceal that."He looks at her and shakes his head. "He must be able to conceal his Force presence somehow. I must find out how he does this."He raises an eyebrow and nods his head. "Ah, I understand. Well I wasn't entirely sent here deliberately. The Emperor had arranged for me a two week furlough with time off here." He watches as Rajnish stands up and begins to move off deeper into the Casino. "Well, we'll see what we'll see then." |

In another part of the hotel...
Mr. Theefe arrives at a room that was messaged to him from the front desk, he recognized the name of the occupant and headed right over. With a press of the door's call button, Mr. Theefe waits mere seconds before one of Mr. Ist's associates opens the door, Mr. Ist sees Theefe at the door and waves him in. "I see you beat me here, is your team already in place?"
"Has been for the last three hours; most of them are already on the casion floor disguised as guests and the rest have been sneaked into the proper sensitive areas. Its amazing what a few credits can accomplish in the right hands." Theefe says with a mischevous grin.
"Just wait until after tonight, we'll be able to accomplish much more." Ist says with a reciprocating smile of his own as he turns and walks over to a table and pics up a secure comlink. "Tell your men to get ready, my team will hit the floor within the hour. When this beeps, have our people in the maintenance tunnels initiate the lockdown procedures."
"Very well, where will you be when this all goes down?"
"You know, I have this sudden urge to go play some Sabacc... I think I shall go down to the Casino floor and try my luck."

Chantia gives Shadow a small satisified smile. I do my small part in helping keep the Empire running. Why, thank you, Shadow.
She chuckles in his ear as she continues to kiss it. Neither can I. The main course is much better though this has been fun so far. I like it when I can mix pleasure with my business. This definitely has been much pleasure as well as business.
Ah, that explains it then. I wonder how he can hide his presence in the Force and if it has something to do with his robotic parts or something else. She whispers back.
She listens to Rajnish say.
She watches him leave. Interesting. I think I know who he is now. The Emperor mentioned that he has a new cyborg apprentice, Raj.... or something like that is his name. He was given a new upgraded body a short time ago if he is who I'm thinking of. Though he is right about us running into each other. I think it was meant for us to be together in this. Whatever is happening or going to happen.
Now where were we before we were interrupted? She then whispers in his ear, I think we need to go somewhere more private so we can be alone and discuss this more fully without prying ears and eyes. Because I have a bad feeling something major is about go down around here and it isn't someone winning a lot in the casino either.

He grins upon hearing her and nods his head. "You're most definately welcome m'lady."
He nods his head again. "You're right. I think I caught a glimpse of him back at the palace on Carratos. I heard one of the guards talking about him. Hmm. So that's the Emperor's apprentice, Rajnish. Very interesting."
He raises an eyebrow and looks at her, grinning slightly and then nods his head. "But of course. We can go up to my hotel room and discuss things." He looks around the casino and then looks back at her. "I think you're right Chantia. I've felt something strange since I've been in here. Something is probably going to happen later, not sure what though."
He sighs and shakes his head. "That's just bloody great. I come here on two weeks leave and something always seems to happen around me." He smirks. "Oh well. Might as well get used to it."
He pays the bartender for his drink and then stands up. He holds out a hand to Chantia. "Well, we better get going so we can have a chance to talk."

Yes, I have that feeling too. Something very strange. I can't put my finger on what just yet. There is something just slightly off about the situation here.

She gives him a sympathetic look. Isn't that way it always is? Same here I was looking forward to realxing for two weeks. But that has gone bye, bye. She chuckles, I can believe you cause a lot happenings around you.
She downs the last of her drink and takes his hand when he stands up and holds out his hand to her.
That is the best offer I have had all day, handsome. Let's go and have that little talk. She gives him a wink.

Rajnish listens to them as he walks deeper into the Casino; his mind goes on that there was something there but what. Why, the three of them here and at this time. He passes a couple of humans as they pass him. He goes over to another table an takes a seat watching the room. His panel moves back as he pushes the button to reconnect to the force to scan the room. All he can do now is sit and wait.

A turbolift door opens on the casino main floor and Ist walks out to the room full of rock-steady gamblers and random tourists all playing games of chance, he knows tonight he has the best chance of them all. This well groomed man dressed in a business suit strolls through the floor as he looks for the card room, once he locates it he finds the Sabacc table nearest to the bar to allow for full view of the room. Ist can already see the members of Theefe's team sitting at various tables around the room, the planing for this job couldn't be any better than it was, with any luck the plan would go off without a hitch. He remembers to set a time on his comlink to alert him when to contact the teams to start their move.
As Ist rests himself into one of the chairs, he finds himself at a table with a Givin male, two female Ithorians and another human male, he quickly throws down a one-hundred thousand credcard and grins like the devil. "Buy in, please."
The droid dealer looks at the credcard momentarily to scan it and then run a check over to the pit boss, the pit boss authorizes the buy in and gives the okay, finally the droid deals the first round with Ist being the first to place his ante in the main pot and Sabacc pot. He is the first to recieve his two cards, a Master saber card and a Queen of Air and Darkness card, a good start so far and Ist takes this as a sign of good things to come.

They both board it and the lift rides up to the floor that has Shadow's room. They exit the lift and silently move down the hallway and come to a stop in front of the door to his room. He pulls out a key card and swipes the lock. The door opens and he steps into the room leading her inside. He pushes the door closed and then he turns to look at her. "Sorry the room's a bit of a mess. Hadn't really got to unpacking yet." He says and sits down on the edge of the bed. |

Chantia smiles at his nod. Yes, we will be prepared. She watches with approval his discreet look around the room. She is sure that he has noted all the entrances and exits of the building and any other important things such as security personnel or droids or weapon systems.
Her smile become wider and more seducitve when he kisses her hand and a shiver of delight goes up her spine when he does. She follows him out of the casino to the turbolift. She doesn't let the opportunity go by when they are in the turbolift alone to give Shadow a kiss. The kiss finishes just as the lift stops at his floor. They exit the turbolift and quietly move down the hall to his room. Chantia mentally and automatically notes how far down the hall his room is from the turbolift and the emergency stairs and any other not so obvious exits to the hall like the windows at the end of the hall.
When he opens the door she follows him inside and then waits for him to close the door and sit down before she pulls out a nearby chair and moves it so she can sit across from him before she sits also.
Not a problem Shadow, you didn't know you were going to have visitors. She says as she sits down showing a great amount of leg as she does so.
Now that we are alone I will tell you what I have observed since I came here then we can compare notes. Is that acceptable? She waits for him to nod then continues in voice of a junior officer reporting to her superior.
I have noticed in the last few days since I have been here there has been some key personnel that has been replaced. Now it is possible that they have gone vacation but it is not the usual practice to let that many key people go at the same time. Also there has been some of the same people hanging around like they are waiting for something to happen. They are trying too hard to look like they belong so they really stick out to me. She then asks when she finishes.
What have you noticed since you been here? And what are your thoughts on what might be going on here?

Rajnish watches the room as he continues to play, one person caught his attention. He scans the area as watches the game unfold; he wins another hand as the male to his right was not as fortunate. The man grabs his hair as he drops his chips.
Man “No, I…I lost everything.”
Rajnish looks at him “This is why it’s a game of chance; now leave so we can get back to our game.”
Man looks over at him; he thinks out loud “Who are you to tell me to leave, you with your winning. I bet you don’t have a family to tend too. I have lost everything.”
Rajnish temper starts to rise even without his powers being disconnected; you could tell in his voice that he was getting upset.
Raj “Leave now before you get tossed out, I am smarter than you I take it. You played with your family future to only lose it. You are the fool (Waves his hand low table height so no one could see) (Go now, and find the tallest building here and jump. At least your family will at least they will have some credits for your death) Laughs slowly”
The male turns as does what he was told, not waiting him leave Rajnish attention turned as he heard something in the human’s voice as he spoke. A feeling ran through his circuit boards and human nerves from his voice. Rajnish turns his sensors to high as he plays a layout in his mind for everything in the room.
Rajnish thoughts continued to go on what brought him here and why.

Two rounds of betting later, Ist is low on the count with a card total of zero, if the game was to end right now he'd be bounced out of the hand. What will it matter though, if everything goes as it should no one will know much of anything has happened, he should be able to continue playing for a bit. Ist chooses this moment to bluff as the last round of betting approaches, he tosses in a high bet of twenty five thousand to see if he can scare off any of the participants and it do so quickly, the Ithorians and the human drop out quickly and leave the game to be between him and the Given. One thing that was obvious was that the Given saw through his bluff, Ist could tell this from the alien's body language, but then Ist's svaing grace appeared in the form of another card change.
With the three cards in front of him, Ist has an Ace of sabers, an Eight of Sabers and an Idiot card; Sabacc. Its an game winning hand, both the ante and the sabacc pots, easily doubling his money as long as the Given doesn't have a Pure Sabacc for a hand. Ist calls the hand and looks over to his opponent, this time its not a bluff but pure confidence as he tries to sweeten the pot even more. "What have you got, anything good enough to beat me?
The Given garbles something back in its native tongue and Ist ghuckles slightly. "Prove it... all in."
The Given must think that Ist is still bluffing because the alien calls the devil's raise and flips over his cards revealing a two of staves, a six of coins an Mistress of flasks; a score of twenty-one, good but not good enough. Ist reveals the Sabacc and the Given storms away from the table. The droid dealer declares Ist the winner and gives him the pot, he takes this moment to pull out the comlink and send the page to his associates, things are just getting interesting.
In Mr. Theefe's room at the hotel, the cohorts of Mr. Ist sit at mobile terminals around the room monitoring various things for the operation ahead. Theefe gets the beep on his encrypted comlink and signals the teams to go on with the job, he goes around and watches the various monitors with eagerness as things begin to unfold. In the engineering tunnels of the casino, units move in, blast anyone in their way and proceed to slice into control panels in order to turn over function of the various systems to the men in the room. They also seek to bypass the security controls and begin locking down the various floors and making sure nothing moves. One by one a five floor buffer zone between the casino and the rest of the hotel is up and running; no turbolifts running without surveillance and being rerouted from going to sensitive locations, all exits locked down with security doors in place and only a single freight lift running in the back of the casino/hotel.
At the same time of the lockdown slicers in the room are hacking into the casino's mainframe and locking out their overrides to the systems, this way the casino will be mostly powerless to their attack but will still retain control of the vault mainframe for the time being, its going smoothly and quickly as anticipated so far. The casino Security probably are still scratching their heads as to what is happening, are they even aware of the level of an attack that is being laid against them, Ist cant help but imagine as he sees the various members of 'security' on the floor look at one another. Theefe wasnt lying about having security taken care off, almost every guard on the casino floor is really a plant.
Just as the droid dealer calls for an ante on the new hand, Ist gets a recipricating beep on his comlink that tells him things are moving along. Ist sits down with a smile on his face and tosses in his ante. "Look out everyone, I'm feelin' lucky."

Shadow is about to answer her when he feels a sudden disturbance through the Force. He holds up a hand to tell her to wait and then closes his eyes, sensing someone's pain in the lower levels of the complex.
He opens his eyes. "Something's going on Chantia." He stands up and walks over to his dresser and reaches in and pulls out a blaster pistol. He then opens the door to his room and cautiously steps out. He walks down the hallway lightly and approaches the elevator.
He pushes the button but nothing happens. He walks over to the emergency door leading to the stairs but finds that locked down. "What the hell?" He walks back into his room.
"The elevator and the emergency door are both locked down." He grabs into a bag and pulls out his lightsaber and clips it onto his belt. "We need to get off this floor."
He then pulls on a hooded black cloak and pulls the hood up over his head.

Chantia stiffens when she feels the same disturbance in the Force. She starts to say something when Shadow holds up his hand signaling her to wait, she nods to show she understands. She waits patiently as he closes his eyes. She senses that he is trying to find out what is causing the distrubance they both felt.
When he opens his eyes and says. "Something's going on Chantia." She nods. "I felt it too. Could you tell what it was?" She asks as she stands up and puts a hand on her lightsaber that has hidden in her the back of her outfit just in case she needs it not drawing it yet. She waits for him to get a weapon and follows him to the door and watches him try the elevator and the emergency door leading to the stairs. She keeps watch to make sure his back is protected.
"The elevator and the emergency door are both locked down." He says.
"Yes, so I noticed. So now what?" She watches grab his lightsaber and nods with approval. "Yes, I agree." She looks down at her dress and makes a face. "You mind if I change first? This not exactly the best outfit to be in if we have to fight our way out. "
She nods to the room that is across from the stairs and next to the windowed wall at the end of the corridor. That's my room. She says as she walks towards it. She opens her door and walks into her room leaving it open so Shadow can follow her in. She opens her bag and pulls out a black one piece jumpsuit, soft boots and a belt. I won't be a moment. She takes off her heels and tosses them into the bottom of her bag. She unzips her dress and steps out of it and throws it also into her bag but not before she retrieves her lightsaber from its hiding place. She doesn't seem to care that Shadow is watching her. She totally comfortable with her body and doesn't mind showing it off.
She quickly dresses into her jumpsuit and pulls on her boots. She fastens the belt around her waist and clips her lightsaber to it. She pulls a smaller bag from out under the bed. She opens it and pulls out a blaster pistol in a holster. She straps it to her left leg. She reaches into her bag and pulls out a vibro knife and slips it into her boot. She puts her hair into a pontail.
She then slips a small device in a pouch on her belt. This comes in real handy if we need to splice into any computer systems. Okay, I'm ready. Let's get out of here and see what is going on. And see if we can cause a little disturbance ourselves. She says with a wink as she walks to the door to join Shadow.

After getting everything ready he looks at her when she says that she should change. He nods his head and waves his hand for her to lead the way. "Sure, no problem. That might be for the best." He says and chuckling lightly, he follows her out of his room. He shuts his door and locks it and then follows her to her room.
After she walks in, he pauses at the door mainly to keep an eye on the corridor and also to give her some privacy as she changes. He glances at her once and grins slightly liking what he sees. He then looks back out into the corridor and at the emergency exit door, getting an idea.
He grins at her when she joins him at the door, approving of her outfit. "Sounds like a good thing to have. I'm sure we'll need it. Now, first off, we need to get off this floor. We're trapped as long as we stay here."
He steps out of the room and after she closes the door and relocks it, he makes his way back down the hallway to the emergency exit door. He examines the door and looks at her. "It would appear that I can use my lightsaber to cut around the lock. That way, we can get the door open." He holsters his blaster pistol and unclips his lightsaber.
He pushes the activation switch and a crimson red blade appears. He holds the blade horizontally and stabs it through the center of the right part of the door and begins to cut around the lock.

Yep, it comes in handy. I don't why I brought it along this time, habit I suppose. I just had a feeling I might be needing it.
I agree, getting off this floor sounds like a good idea. Otherwise we are stuck here at someone else's convience. I don't like being trapped it gives someone else control over me and I don't like that. Any ideas on how we can do that? She says as she follows him into the corridor and closes and relocks her door.
She follows him to the emergency door. She nods when he says.
"It would appear that I can use my lightsaber to cut around the lock. That way, we can get the door open."
Good. Do it. I will keep watch. She watches him for a moment as he starts to cut the lock then moves in front of him to shield him from view so no can see what he is doing. Just in case they are being watched.

Rajnish continue to play, he turns off his device to reconnect to the force. He had a overwhelming feeling something was wrong in the force. He wanted to pull his saber out but he felt as if he was the one being watched. He fold his hand and stands up, leaving his winning on the table. He made his way out of the Casino making his way to the elevator but something told him to look at the door instead. The door would not open, he looks around using his large Cyborg frame as slams into the door making somewhat a loud noise.
He looks around as a serve droid approached him.
Droid “Sir, all doors are secure for your safety.”
Rajnish thinking on what the droid said, (For your safety) but why? It did not make any since to him, he moved from the door getting closer to the droid.
Rajnish “Why is it for my safety?”
Droid “Sir, management wants all the door secure for the moment nothing more I can tell you.”
Once again Rajnish thought is was odd, then a Dark feeling came over him. Without thinking he grabs the droid head crushing it with his Cyborg hand. He pulls the Droid into the somewhat Dark corner where he was. Using the droid body, the door slowly opens as he used it to hold the door open. Rajnish scanner detected a very low pitch noise coming from a few flight about him. He began his climb to see what is going on.

Rajnish exits the stairwell and makes it back to the main Casino floor. He looks around, and exits the Casino. He makes it back to his shuttle and leaves.

As Theefe and his crew monitor the screens, one of the men calls Theefe's attention to two figures on one of the lockdown floors who appear to be trying to gain access to somewhere they shouldn't be. It was of no major concern at the moment but something would have to happen to disuade the pair, which appear to Theefe as a Human male and a Zeltron female on the screen, from trying to get access to someplace more sensitive. Theefe directs one of the lackys in the room to send some of their security to stop them and to move quickly
As Shadow is using his lightsaber to cut the lock off the emergency door, two men clad in Hotel security uniforms round the corner and begin to approach Chantia and Shadow. The larger of the two men approaching, who could be Dantooian judging by his size, yells down the hall with all the vigor and authority you'd expect from a security guard. "HEY YOU TWO, STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND GET OVER HERE, THAT'S ROYAL CASINO PROPERTY!
