The Jedi reaches out with the force and with a gentle push, clicks the "OFF" button on the control panel as he walks over to meet Tookie coming out of the testing arena.

"Very good, Very very good Tookie. Master Tosh did an excellent job of preparing you, I am quite impressed not only with your skill, but with the control you display over your emotions.

Come, let us get you to the infirmary to tend to that wound, and further discuss what you have discovered about yourself and the force in this trial."

He gestures with a hand towards the doorway out of the large training room, and is ready to move forward quickly if the Gungan's senses take leave of him, as he has seen in both padawans and veterans after such a grueling expenditure and injury. Even to those who tap into the force to bolster themselves, the sudden drop in adrenalin can catch them off guard.

Tookie smiles at the Jedi and begins to walk to the infirmary with him, he is a little wobbly but can managed on his own for the most part, the Gungan is pleased with what the Jedi said about Master Tosh's training and cant help but feel a small sense of pride. He pulls his ear in front of him and looks at the missing tip, next time he shall need to remember to use a training saber or adjust the setting on his to not cause damage. "Mesa tink I will not be seekin to fix mesa ear, it be a remider to mesa to neber underestimate mesa opponents... and to be usin a pactice seeber when mesa train."

As they get to the infirmary the Jedi chuckles then quiets before speaking.

"You are leaving the protected ways of the Padawan Tookie, your lightsaber should be your constant companion and friend. Though it is dangerous and is a weapon, you should strive to practice with what you use when your life depends upon it. Even if we were to spar, your skill and technique is now to the level where you should use a proper weapon, not a mere glowing shock-stick. It is about honing your internal control, apply only what force is needed to resolve a conflict successfully, no more, no less. Padawans and younglings train with practice sabers, their abilities to control their base emotions have not fully developed, and thus cannot be trusted.

In your test, I could feel that your were scared, nervous, confused at times. It is a load of bantha poodo that Jedi never experience these emotions. We are beings which these things have developed as survival mechanisms. It is improper to deny these exist, that itself would be a path towards evil, for ones soul would harden and become callous and unfeeling. It is not about denying the emotions, it is about overcoming them, as you did in the trials. That is the proper path.

I have though about something as we have walked here, there is a matter that I feel is important the order look into, or at least I feel I must look into. Have you heard the news? The RGE has claimed Kal'Shebbol, the people of the planet were apparently in open revolt against the GA. Also a petty general of Tion has declared himself their Emperor. He claims it is for the good of his people and is acting upon his behalf, though I very much doubt that. I still do not trust Ire, although he has apparently taken on no more actual authority since he had been elected Executor. He appears to be an Emperor in style and name only, but I still have a funny feeling about him. His brutality against the Vong during the war, I witnessed myself. There is something dark about one who can drive men to such savagery.

I would like you to accompany me to travel to Kal'Shebbol and to Tion to witness for ourselves the state of affairs. The people of these worlds may wish and intend to follow these men on their paths, if this is true then it is no concern of mine. But I think their may be more that is unsaid. I am no Master, so my meditation from here is useless to determine the truth. I feel I must go to see with my own eyes.

But while you are not officially a Knight until the council bestows it upon you, you clearly are no longer a Padawan. So I ask you as a fellow Jedi, a friend, an equal, if you care to accompany me."

Tookie can hardly believe his ears when the Jedi calls him and equal and asks him to come along to Kal'Shebbol to investigate the happenings on the planet, the Gungan is about to completely forgo having his ear seen about until the stinging in his ear comes back with a vengeance. Tookie grimaces slightly before ending it with a smile. "Mesa will gladly goes with yousa, mesa accept but mesa tink mesa should be gettin mesa ear checkedin outs."

Tookie then enters the infirmary to have his ear looked at by a physician.

"Yes, I think that would be a priority... I don't want you flying us there distracted with pain, it might make out trip shorter and much more eventful."

It has been a while since he had left the Academy, it would be good to get away for a bit, and it was a delight to see the excitement in Tookie's eyes at the prospect of a mission. It brought back some lighter moments of his youth.

"Tookie, do you own your own ship we can take, or do I need to have the hanger prepare us one?"

[Tookie Binks]

Tookie looks funny at the Jedi and wonders if he is serious for a second, when the Gungan deduces that the Jedi is in fact serious he quickly reminds the Jedi of the other day when Tookie arrived at the Temple. "Yes, mesa do have a ship, yousa greeted me dare when mesa arrive ere."

Tookie gets waived over by some medical droid and the Gungan goes to get seen about his ear. The droid inspects the wound and begins to clean it up with a variety of liquids on the tray next to his alcove, and places a bacta-patch on the tip of his ear. When the droid floats away, Tookie looks a little confused. "Dat all? If dissen happen on Naboo de doctors and priests woulds not be shuttins up for owors... mesa liken outsider medicine"

The Jedi scratches the back of his head through the hood of his robe.

"That definitely settles it, I have been on world too long, I am getting lax in memory. No senile jokes, I am warning you," he chastises mockingly.

As he watches the treatment, he chuckles as it concludes.
"It could be worse, you are actually lucky Master Cousland was not on duty, He would be giving you what for for getting hurt in the first place, and then lecturing you on changing the bandages regular until your good ear would fall off."

After the doctors are done with Tookie and they turn to head out,
"I will grab my gear and meet you at your ship in say 30 minutes?" He waits for Tookie to answer and then departs for his quarters.

"Luckies mesa, all my stuffs still in mesa sheep." Tookie says as he hops off the table. Mesa should have the sheep readies by dee time yousa shows up." Tookie then bows his head and heads to the hangar bay to power up the Bombad Gungan.

[Unknown Jedi]

A short while later the Jedi heads over to the Bombad Gungan with a dufflebag over one shoulder. He reaches up and slaps the hull a few times on the hedge of the hatchway, calling out, "Permission to come aboard?"

[Tookie Binks]

"Peemission gronteed." Tookie yells from the cockpit, the Gungan is busy getting the switches set and get systems up and running. Clicking over the power to the hyperdrive, Tookie is surprised to see how good a job the mechanics had done on the old drive system that was beyond messed up before, it looks like his drive rating is now better than it was before. "Getsen to a seat quickie-quickie and wesa cans getsen outsa ere."

Pressing switches to initialize the inter-coolers and to power up the ion drive injectors, Tookie looks over his instruments and sees that the work the Jedi's mechanics did on this old bucket made her almost like new again, the Gungan knows he will have to buy them a drink, if that is their custom, and thank them well. Pressing one more switch, the engines begin to power up with a dull hum and Tookie can already tell the difference in the Bombad Gungan's sound. "Oh, dissen luberly, mesa be rollen in una bombad skeebeetle nowsa."

Lady Shana walked through the temple marveling at its beauty. She hoped that was ok, but she wasn't sure who she should have asked. As she walked through the Temple she looked around for someone to talk to, preferable a master in the force like her.

[Kevin Kenobi]

*Kevin walks around the Temple area and begins to get a feel for where everything is located. He takes in the beauty of the area and begins to feel more at home, a feeling he hasn't had side he was a boy back home on Corellia. Even in his time on Naboo, he didn't exactly feel like he was at home, although his surroundings did give hum a sense of calm. Opening himself to the Force to take in the calming beauty around him, Kevin continues to walk around. It is then that he senses a familiar presence, one he hasn't felt since completing his first major assignment for the RGE. Kevin suddenly becomes nervous and hopes that whichever of the Imperial Knights is here either doesn't recognize him, which he knows ins unlikely, or fails to suspect that Kevin is here to join the Jedi Order. Now wishing he had brought some kind of cloak to conceal his features, Kevin uses a calming technique to calm his rattled nerves and continues walking.*

Shana stops as she feels a presence she recognizes for a second before it closes up a bit. She glances around confused who was here that she knew. She hadn't been fully paying attention so she hadn't been able to identify it right away.

She walks through the halls looking around trying to figure out who was here that she might have known.

[Kevin Kenobi]

*Kevin turns and notices a woman walking around. By the looks of it, it seems that she is doing the same thing as he, walking around and admiring the Temple's beauty. He doesn't recognize her right away, as he can't see her face, but he has an idea who she is. Kevin decides to walk over and talk to her. He moves closer to her.*

Excuse me, but you wouldn't happen to be Lady Shana of the Imperial Knights would you?

Shana turned toward the voice and once she recognized Kevin confusion appeared on her face. "Sir Kevin?" She said surprised. "What are you doing here?"

[Kevin Kenobi]

*Kevin smiles at Lady Shana and pushes his nervousness away before speaking.*

I ran into some old friends of mine that I hadn't seen in a while when providing aid to the Grand Vizier on his latest mission and did some things that left me feeling like I wasn't doing what was right. My friend happens to know a Jedi and I was allowed me to visit the Temple to clear my head. Before coming, I left a message with Lord Zairon that I would be taking some time off to figure some things out. Do you know if he got my message?

*Kevin then finds himself curious as to why Lady Shana is here. He decides to ask her.*

What brings you to Yavin 4?

"Considering recent events it is highly unlikely he did..." Shana mumbles. "I'm here because of him actually. He's currently being given medical attention and was in really bad shape. The healers said he's stable and just needs bacta and rest now." Shana glances away for a moment. "But umm...I can't help but being worried, you know?"

[Kevin Kenobi]

*Kevin grows slightly worried when Shana talks about Zairon being injured. He nods sympathetically.*

I know what you mean. I'm glad to hear that Lord Zairon is doing ok. Is there anything I can do for you, Lady Shana?

"Not really..." Shana glances around, "I was just looking around and hoping to run into some Jedi. I figured maybe I can train or study with them and broaden my knowledge. Plus it'd help get my mind off matters."

[Kevin Kenobi]

Well, if you want, I could train with you. A good sparring session could help us both clear our heads. Maybe we'll even run into a Jedi or two who could train with us.

*Kevin takes out his datapad and opens up his map of the Jedi Temple and looks up the location of the training area.*
