Adjacent offices for the First and Second in Command of the Jedi Order. Messages, requests may be left here, and meetings may be held here.

Each office contains an office desk and chair, access to the holonet and a communications console. They also contain a comfortable couch and several chairs for guests.

Nick walks quietly through the Jedi Temple halls nodding to the various Masters, Knights and Padawans he walks by. He finally comes to a double set of doors that leads into his office and opens them. He steps inside and then closes the doors. He walks over to his desk and takes a seat and begins to work on paperwork.

Nick looks up from his paperwork as he hears a knock on his door. "Come in. Its open." He says putting his pen down. He smiles when he sees his sister, Claire, walk into the room.

"Hello Claire, what can I do for you." He asks standing up and giving his sister a hug.

She smiles and raises an eyebrow and returns his hug. "Nothing. Can't your baby sister come in and say hi?" She crosses her arms over her chest and looks at him.

Nick chuckles and shrugs his shoulders. "Hmm, I guess she can. How's mom and dad doing on Bakura?"

She smiles remembering the time she spent with them over the past two weeks. "They're both doing okay. They still wish you'd take time to come and visit them."

Nick sighs and nods his head. "I know Claire. Its just that I've been so busy helping Cait get everything running perfectly here, I haven't had the time to go off-world. I'll take some time soon. I promise."

She nods her head. "Okay brother. Just make sure you do. They both miss you terribly." She says quietly and walks over to the couch and sits down on it.

Nick smirks slightly and shakes his head. He then sits back down at his desk and resumes working on his paperwork.

Cait walks into her office and sits down at her desk. She sighs when sees the mounds of paperwork on top of it.

She mutters under her breath. I swear it breeds overnight.

She dives into the paperwork working rapidly trying to reduce the piles down to manageable levels.

She goes over the list of those who are in training and those who have reached the level of Knights or Masters. She looks over the list of padawans who need a master trying to match padawan to Master.

Nick looks up sensing Cait across the hall in her office. Smiling silently, he stands up from his desk and noticing his sister dozing off on the couch, he quietly walks out of his office and across the hall and into Cait's office. "Hey Grand Master Cousin. How's it gong?" He says grinning.

He walks over to her desk and takes a seat at one of the chairs there.

Cait looks up from her list when Nick walks into her office. She chuckles at his greeting.

That's a new one Cousin. You know I rather be called Cait than Grandmaster any day. I would be doing great if I could get some of these papers off my desk. What do you think of these padawans being with these Masters for training? She hands him the list.

Nick raises an eyebrow and laughs. "I know that Cait. Just giving you a hard time." He looks at the paperwork on her desk and grins. "Ah, the perks of being the Jedi Grand Master. You make a good Grand Master anyway."

Still chuckling, he takes the list she hands him and after scanning through it, he nods his head. "Yeah, this sounds good to me." He points out a certain padawan and knight. "That would be a good pairing. They'd learn a lot from each other." He hands her back the list. "And I heard a lot about this padawan. She seems very promising."

Cait shakes her head at her cousin's teasing but laughs. Thanks a lot Nick. She looks at the papers on her desk. The perks? Can I resign then? Get a job I don't know maybe selling flowers? Tap dancing at the Spire? Her tone of voice showing she is joking at least in part.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Cousin but I'm not the only one who would be a good one.
She takes back the list and looks at the padawan and Master he has pointed out. Yes, that was my thought too. Would you let them know? Speaking of padawans how is your sister doing? Is she back yet from Bakura?

He chuckles listening to her. He then raises an eyebrow. "Tap dancing at the Spire? That'd be a site to see. Your brother would laugh his you know what off to see that." He grins and shakes his head. "All kidding aside you do what you do best."

He smiles and inclines his head. "Why thank you Cousin. But, you were always the better leader anyways." He then nods his head. "Of course. I'll tell them both this evening when I see them." He sighs when she mentions Claire. "Yeah, she's back from Bakura. Just got in a few minutes ago. She must've been tired or something because she passed out asleep on my couch in my office."

She chuckles in return. That he would. So maybe I won't do that. Though I wouldn't mind having a flower shop. Maybe when I retire. She says with a wink. In the next hundred years or so.

Thank you Nick. But you know I rather be in the Infirmary healing than fighting the paperwork monsters. She glares at the stack of papers in front of her.

You're welcome Nick. I'm not so sure about that. You are just as good or even better leader than I am. She says in a serious tone of voice.

Thanks Nick, I knew I could rely on you.

I'm glad Claire is back. I was thinking of assigning her a padawan. What do you think is she ready for one?

Cait laughs. A rough vacation or what? Did she say how your parents are doing before she passed out?

He nods his head. "I understand that. Well, just don't retire anytime soon. At least let me know when you do." He sighs and nods his head. "I know that Cait. Well, you can always do both. I can fill in here just as easily as in the Infirmary."

He grins and crosses his arms. "You really think so? Wow, that's good to know Cait. I never really had much experience leading anyone other than training Padawans. I guess that would be pretty much the same thing then."

His face takes on a serious look and he nods his head. "Yeah, I do think she is ready for a Padawan. She's headstrong, stubborn sometimes, but heck that runs in the family. She is ready."

He then laughs and nods his head. "Not really a rough vacation. More like a long trip. I guess she's just not used to being a passenger for a long period of time. She's more into flying herself." He then grins. "Yes, she did manage to tell me before falling asleep. She says our parents are doing pretty good at Bakura. They're wanting me to go and visit sometime. She says they miss me terribly."

Cait laughs. Like I could not with Luke gone on his mission. You know he put me charge as Grandmaster until he got back. I couldn't let him down by not doing my best. No matter how much I don't want the job. Don't worry it won't anytime soon. And I will give you advance notice.

Yes, I do Nick. *chuckles* Don't sound so surprised Cousin. It is not much that different only there are more people and positions involved. Pretty much. She agrees.

Good. Let her know when she wakes up. *snickers when he says stubborness runs in the family.* No, really? I hadn't noticed. *there is laughter in her voice.*

Ah, yes that does make difference you can take the shortest way there when you are flying yourself. I'm glad they are doing well. Why don't you go visit them? Or invite them here for a visit?

He nods his head. "Yeah, I know what you mean. I just hope Luke and Mara are okay and that they come back safe and sound." He grins. "I'll hold you to that Cait."

He looks at her and raises an eyebrow. "No problem at all Cait."

He shrugs his shoulders and nods his head. "I guess you're right. Its not so different after all."

He grins. "Yes, I'll let her know when she wakes up. I think she'll be glad about this."

He sighs and shrugs his shoulders. "I don't know when I'll have the time to go to Bakura. Its just that we've been so busy here." He pauses for a minute. "Invite them here? I haven't thought of that. I might just do that."

I do too. It worries me when Luke takes off like that on these missions. I know he can take care of himself but some of the situations he gets himself into. She rolls her eyes. Laughs. I'm sure you will Nick.

Good. Now if you had a spell to make all this paperwork disappear. We would be in business. She says humorerously.

Nope. Though dealing with padawans is usually easier. Sometimes. Remembering some of the things the padawans had done lately that she had to discipline them for.

Cait nods and returns his grin. Well I hope so. It is about time she helped out around here. She gives him a wink. It seems only fair. We can't let you have all the fun.

I know what you mean. I don't know when was the last time I was on Danaan. I miss it.

Tell me about it. Rolls her eyes. Maybe I should consider cloning myself to get more done. She says joking.

Sure why not invite them here. She chuckles. Now that you have? Good. That is if they will come. Do you think they will have the time?

He nods his head. "Yeah, I know. But with Mara with him, they'll both be okay. I just know it."

He laughs then. "If I had a spell that could do that, I'd use it everyday Cait. I'd definately do that."

He chuckles quietly remembering his first Padawan learner, the Jedi Exile of the Old Republic that was reincarnated into Jade Valkyrie. "Yeah, you got that right. They can be a handful sometimes. But in the end, they do alright."

He grins then. "Oh I'll be she'll just be thrilled to help us here. I just know it." He says with a hint of sarcasm in his voice. "But, I know she'll do what she's told. She's always taken her duties strictly." He then raises an eyebrow. "Since when have I had fun? I can't even remember the last time I went out and had fun doing anything lately." He hides a half grin behind his left hand.

He looks at her and nods his head. "Yeah. I don't think I've ever been to Danaan. One of these days, we need to take some time off and go visit or something Cait."

He then raises his eyebrow when she mentions clones. "Hate to burst your bubble Cousin, but I heard you can't clone Jedi. Then again, Palpatine did clone himself." He then bursts out laughing. "Just imagine, a bunch of yous running around."


He nods his head. "You know what? I might just do that. I'll give them a call later on and invite them over. I think Claire said that the Parliament was in recess for about a month or so. They should be able to come here and visit."

I hope so. I'm glad she went with him they will keep each other safe. They are a pretty good team.

Cait laughs again. You and me both. Think of the money we could make with kind of spell. She says with a teasing wink.

Yes, they do when they finally get it. She says with a sigh. Its until they get that takes the time.

Cait chuckles. Of course she will. We have such fun here. Yes, she does. She is not the only one. Cait says with a twinkle in her eye. Since when you haven't Cousin? Don't you have fun everyday? She says seeing him trying to hide a grin, teasing him.

No, I don't think you have. Maybe I'll take you with me one of these days to visit. I think you would like it Nick. Yes, that would be nice. She sighs missing home. She then shakes her head to shake off the feeling of homesickness.

Cait laughs. Just my luck. I hate to break it to you Nick but he was a Sith not a Jedi. Besides he was crazy to begin with.

She chuckles when he mentions a bunch of hers running around.

Yes, I can. They would drive everyone crazy trying to keep up with them and not to the mention the food bill for all of them.

Good, good. I look forward to seeing them then.

Claire opens her eyes and yawns quietly stretching on the couch. She looks around and doesn't see her brother Nick anywhere and then hears voices coming from across the hall. Smiling she stands up and makes her way to the doors of Nick's office and opens them, stepping out into the hallway. She walks across the hall and knocks politely on Cait's door and then enters.

"There you both are. For a second there, I thought you had vanished on me Nick. I must have fallen asleep while talking to you." She says walking over to them.

"Hello Cait. Its been a while since I've seen you. Forgot how long I was over on Bakura. Good to see you safe and sound Cousin." She then notices the mountain of paperwork and then cringes. "Ouch, I'm sorry."

She looks at Nick again. "I heard you say something about inviting mother and father here? That's a great idea Nick. They'd love to see you."

He laughs and nods his head. "Yeah, I know she will. She always manages to have some kind of fun." He then grins and sighs knowing she's right. "Yep, I do somehow always do that."

He smiles and nods his head. "I'd like that Cait. You've been to Bakura several times and I've only heard some about Danaan. You haven't really told me much about it at all. I'll find out sooner or later from you."

He crosses his arms over his chest and looks at her. "You know what? That's a very good point. Heh, there's 'ole Palpy for you." He grins.

He then widens his eyes. "No offense Cousin, but I think it would be best just for there to be only one you. Unless you want to try and confuse Colin and Aine."

He then turns his head when Claire knocks on the door and enters the office. "Ah, there you are Claire." He laughs. "No, I didn't vanish. I just left, and yes, you did fall asleep talking to me. I don't blame you. You've had a long trip."

He then grins when she mentions the mountain of paperwork on Cait's desk. "Yep, just like I told her. Part of the perks of being the Grand Master."

He nods his head. "Yes, I told Cait that I'd call mother and father later on today and invite them to come here."

He then looks at Claire. "Speaking of which, Cait wanted to tell you something." He glances at Cait.

Hey Nick look who woke up. Hey Sleeping Beauty glad you could join us. Cait says teasing Claire.

Hello Claire glad to see you back safe and sound as well. Cait laughs. I see you noticed the mountain. So am I , Claire. So am I.

To Nick before Claire comes.

Yes you do.

We will have arrange something then maybe when I can see my desk again. If there is a desk under there. Haven't I? Slide show! Just kidding cousin. It's a beautfiul world lots of trees and water.

Cait laughs when Nick calls Palatine Ole Palpy.

Oh good one Nick.

Aw spoilsport.She snickers. Now that is an idea. Confusing Colin sounds fun. She gives a fake evil laugh.

After Claire comes in.

Cait makes a face when Nick mentions the paperwork is a perk. Yeah, right Nick. If that's perk I would like to trade it in for a used Bantha.

I do? Oh right I do. Claire, Nick and I discussed it and we think you are ready to take on a padawan.

Claire smiles when Cait calls her Sleeping Beauty. "Yeah, well guess I was more tired than I thought. I'm fine now though." She grins when Cait mentions the mountain. "Nah, don't worry about it Cait. I'm sure someone can take that off your hands for you." She says glancing sideways at Nick.

She then laughs. "A used Bantha? Surely there's something better than a smelly old bantha that you can trade in for."

She then takes on a serious look on her face and sits down in one of the chairs. Looking at Cait and Nick, she nods her head. "If you both think I am ready for this, then I am. I am ready to take the next step in being a Jedi. All kidding aside, that's why I'm here."
