Nick makes his way through the Temple and yawning slightly, pushes open the door to Cait's office to see her, Colin and Claire all standing there talking. "Well, just the people I needed to talk to." He smirks slightly and walks over to them. Imitating a voice of a gungan, he says. "Mesa back!" He grins.

Aine chuckles. She has you there Colin.
Colin makes a face at her and says. Yeah, yeah. I forgot that others can have that kind of connection other than just twins. It could be one or all of the above, Claire. Yes, I believe you are right. He looks out of the window then back toward the door when he hears it open.
Just then Nick walks through the door of Cait's office.
Colin grins at Nick's gungan imatation. Nice Nick. Glad you're back I was just about to call you to come back.
Aine starts giggling at the same thing. Very Funny Nick.
Colin gives her a look and she stops laughing he then says to Nick.
I take it you felt the darkside surge? And that is why you came back?

Claire laughs and nods her head. "Yes, I guess it is all of the above Colin." She then turns when she hears Nick come into the office. "There you are Nick. Took you long enough to get here."

Nick grins and nods his head. "Yeah, I was going to come back anyways. I've got the lab techs at Coruscant pushed in the right direction to mass produce the vaccine, so hopefully they can beat this thing."
His face then takes on a serious look. "Yeah, I felt the darkside surge. It hurt so bad, I ended up collapsing to my knees. Its the Oathbreakers isn't it? Any idea where they're going to arrive at?"
He nods his head. "Yes, that's what made me come back here. I was going to stay on Coruscant a few more days to make sure the vaccine works, but I hate to say this, this incident is more severe than the virus."

Colin to Claire with a laugh.
I would vote for all of the above too. What do you mean Claire? Nick got here quick. I wasn't expecting him to get here until at the earliest tomorrow.
Cait is uncharacteristically quiet while Colin does all the talking. Which is not really surprising since it is not really Cait but Aine in disguise.
Colin to Nick.
That's good news. We could use some right about now.
Colin's face becomes serious. Yes, it is the Oathbreakers. The seal keeping them out of this dimension has been broken.
In normal circumstances I would be concerned if someone felt pain from a surge in the darkside caused from the broken seal. Because usually only someone strongly connected to the darkside feels it as pain when that happens. But you and Claire are special cases. You are not only Sidhe but human. It was your human side that was reacting with pain if you were full Sidhe you have noticed the surge but not bothered by it as far as feeling pain from it. Of course we are bothered that it happened. Because the seal must be renewed and that will not be easy to do.
I would reluctantly have to agree. The Oathbreakers return is a more serious problem. That reminds me did Cait teach you the song of protection? Because you are going to need it. Claire you need to learn it too.

Claire sits down in a chair and quietly listens to Colin explain to her and Nick about their special blood. She raises an eyebrow when Colin mentions the Song of Protection. "Song of Protection? What's that? I don't think I've ever heard of it." She leans forward in her chair, interested.

Nick sighs quietly listening to Colin. "That's just great. Leave it to me in being a hybrid." He grins slightly and then takes on a serious look. "So, the question is this. How in the hell do we remake the seal? Do you guys know how to do it?"
Nick then raises an eyebrow and looks at Cait. He silently shakes his head. "Nope, I've never heard of the Song of Protection before now. Not even a mention of it." He glances sideways at Claire and nods his head at her before looking back at Colin.

Colin grins at Nick's hybrid comment. Yes, lucky you. Good question. I'm not exactly sure as far as details I would have to look it up. But I do remember it requires some kind of sacrifice. But I'm not sure of the exact nature of the sacrifice.
Colin looks momentarily stunned. She didn't even mention it? He hits his forehead with the palm of his right hand with a DOH moment.
He says to both in a serious tone of voice. A song of protection, protects and guards against evil. If used right it can keep evil out of a place by activating an area of protection. They also can be used to set up a series of stones that can cover large areas of protection that can be activated with a proper trigger word. You remember the guardian rings in the old stories? That is one example of them.
To Nick.
She should have taught you when you became a Guardian. You can't do your job as one if you don't have the main tools to do it.
I better teach it to you right now. Both of you. In fact I know how we can practice. We can set up one here. Starting with the Woolamander palace. He gets up.
Aine has been quiet this whole time she has been trying to contact Cait but can't seem to reach her.

Claire raises an eyebrow. "Sacrifices? As in meaning what kind of sacrifices?" She nods her head in understanding of what Colin explains to her. "Ah, okay I get it now."
She stands up. "So, we have to sing in order to get this ritual thing started? Interesting. I've always wanted to learn more about the Sidhe people."
She grins. "So, we're going to the Woolamander Palace to learn this? Nice. That means we'll have to travel through the jungles then." She stands there and its obvious she's eager to get going.

Nick chuckles at his sister's enthusiasm. "That's the spirit Claire." He then sighs. "But remember, this is going to be important."
He then looks at Colin and then grins. "Nope, she never taught either of us. I guess she figured that we'd never have to deal with the Oathbreakers. And plus, she's been real busy since she took over as Grandmaster of the Order." He chuckles and winks at Cait. "So, Colin. You're going to teach us this? How hard will it be to learn?"
Nick raises an eyebrow. "The Woolamandar Palace? Is there a particular reason why we're going there?" He then crosses his arms over his chest.
He then notices that Cait had been quiet throughout the entire conversation. "Cait? Are you okay? You've been quieter than you usually are." He looks at her with a curious look on his face.

Colin to Claire.
Sacrfice as giving up something valuable, precious or rare or living.
Yes, most Sidhe rituals involve singing or music. Well you are about to learn more about them.
Yes, it will a good place to practice. Well that is one way to do it. Personally I rather take the direct route. He says with a mischievous grin making him look like Cait for a moment.
Colin to Nick.
Still she should have whether or not you would ever need it. It is not like her to forget something that important. Yes, I know she has that is why she called me and Aine in for reinforcements.
Yes, I am. Cait would be better but you are stuck with me. He says somewhat humerously. That depends on how good your ear is and if you can sing on key. Which I don't think you will have a problem Nick. I have heard you sing.
Yes, the Woolamander Palace. Yes, it is a place of protection or was. Cait and Takeda found that out by accident when he was here.
Aine as Cait starts at Nick's question. Sorry, Nick I was thinking and not paying attention.
She shakes her head at a questioning look from Colin. I can't get through to her Colin something has all her attention. She says in a worried tone of voice in answer to his look.
Oh, that is just great. Oathbreakers are running around and she is can't be reached. Remind me again why I agreed to do this? He says in a worried, exasperated voice.
Because she was going to do it anyways and at least this way we would have a means to contact her. Aine/Cait answers.

Claire nods her head in understanding. "Ah. I gotcha on that now. Something valuable. Silly me, I was thinking of something else." She shakes her head.
She smiles then. "That's interesting. So, basically the singing triggers the event to happen. Nice."
She raises an eyebrow. "Take a direct route? Last I looked we didn't have any paths carved out of the jungle to use. How would we get there quickly?"

Nick nods his head. "No problem on that. I need to do some research on Sidhe things anyways to learn more." He chuckles. "Don't worry, my hearing is pretty good and I am a pretty decent singer in my opinion."
He nods his head. "Yeah, I remember them telling me about that. Sounds like a good a place as any to do this at then."
He shakes his head. "No, its okay Cait. You're distracted, no problem." He then raises an eyebrow at hearing the conversation between her and Colin. "Is there a problem? What's going on?"
At that moment, Nick receives a call on his commlink. He steps to the side and answers it. "Yeah its me. Go ahead with the construction as planned. Just follow the blueprints and designs. I've already wired the credits to the account required. Keep me updated." He turns off his comm and walks back over to the others.

Colin looks at Claire and says in a serious tone. Most valuable thing we have is life, Claire.
It does not so much trigger the event but it is part of it, an essential part of it. Music is the basis of or tool of the creation of all things. All things have their own song. If you learn the song you can create it. In theory at least. Cait is very good at it. I'm so so compared to her but better than most.
Colin grins at her question. Teleport there, of course. But you need to be able to see where you are going or have been there before or it doesn't work as well. Teleporting into the middle of a wall is not a pleasant way to go. And is a pain to get out of.
Colin to Nick.
Good. You will get it then. Yeah more than decent Nick.
Aine and Colin exchange glances at Nick's question and Colin looks guilty.
Aine as Cait speaks up. Yeah a slight problem. Our Oathbreaker expert is gone on trip with a friend and we can't get a hold of her.
That is what I was trying to do. She looks at Colin and says to him. They need to know this is beyond my level of knowledge or skill. We could do worse than trusting Nick and Claire with this. They are your family afterall.
Colin frowns then nods. You're right.
Then to Nick and Claire.
What I'm about to tell you both cannot go beyond this room. No one and I mean no one other than your parents can know.
He indicates Aine. This is Aine not Cait. Cait is wandering around the galaxy with Takeda. The last we heard from her she was on Lehon and they just gotten a distress call from a remote section of space near Zonama Sekot. She sent me the coordinates in case we didn't hear from her by a certain time. That time has not only past but the seal keeping the Oathbreakers has been broken. And we can't seem to contact her. She keeps blocking Aine. Which usually means it is too dangerous for her to do so. Or she is too busy.

Claire takes on a serious look on her face and nods her head. "That I do understand Colin. That's one of the reasons why I train to defend myself."
She then raises an eyebrow. "Teleport? I didn't think that was possible. How do we do that?" She asks completely intrigued.
When Colin reveals that Cait is actually Aine, her mouth drops open in shock. "Woah. I never would've guessed. So now Cait's out there somewhere missing with Takeda. I hate to say this, but we might need to go and find them somehow."

When Colin reveals the truth that the Cait standing before them is actually Aine, he staggers back and sits down in a chair. "How long has this been going on? With Cait gone, technically I'm in charge of the Order until she returns." He sighs and crosses his arms slightly frustrated. "I do wish you three would have told me this. As Second in Command of the Jedi Order, I had a prerogative to know about this."
He sighs again and looks at Claire and then back at Aine and Colin. "Claire's right. If we don't hear from her within the next 12 hours or so, we're going after her. We'll need her help definately to stop the Oathbreakers. She might disagree with this, but it can't be helped."

Colin to Claire.
Yeah, Teleport. Yes, it's possible but not easy to do for most people. Like I said you need to be able to see where you are going. You can't teleport to somewhere you have never been to or don't have a clear picture of.
You weren't suppose to. That is what we were trying to do. She is not answering. If we just can barge into wherever she is without knowing what the situation is we might make it worse.
Aine to Nick. Cait didn't tell you because she wasn't suppose to be gone long just a few days on a shopping trip with Takeda. They were only to go to Coruscant and then Kuat and then back to Yavin. If she had known she was going to gone longer she would have told you in fact she wouldn't have done this at all she would have just put you in charge.
Everything went fine until they went to Kuat and it was put on lockdown. It kind of went downhill from there. The plague on Courscant happened and now this.
To Colin.
I agree with Nick we should go after her. We need her here not wandering the galaxy where the Oathbreakers can get at her.
Colin grimaces. Alright , alright. But try contacting her first.

She nods her head. "I see. So its kind of like a line of sight thing. You have to see your target destination in order to make a safe teleport. I get it."
She sighs. "Oh. I understand the reason now. No problem." She looks at Nick and then back at Colin. "Well, I hope she's safe and okay."

Nick nods his head. "Ah, I see. I was just supposed to be like a weekend excursion. It sure didn't end up like that that's for sure." His eyes widen slightly. "They were both involved with the Kuat incident? Oh that's just great."
He looks at Colin and crosses his arms. "Well, let's try and contact her then and then once we get a location lock, see if she needs help. We can do this Song of Protection training and then go get her if she needs us too."

Colin to Claire. Yep. It is exactly like that you can't teleport if you can't see your destination. Well not if you want to get where you want to go.
Cait was fine the last time we talked to her but that was before the seal was broken.
Colin to Nick
You talked to her when you were on Coruscant you tell me how she sounded?
Aine to Nick.
Yes, basically it was suppose to be just a short trip. There and back. She shakes her head. No, not directly they just got caught in the aftermath of the incident. I don't think they even got as far as the Array. They got stuck on one of the transport points to there.
Though they seemed to have picked up a couple of passengers along the way. One I think you may know. Do you remember Gin? She ran into him on Courscant he was stuck on planet his ship sort of crashed so she and Takeda were giving him ride off planet.
They then ran into some minor trouble on the transport point when some thugs attacked a girl who ran into their hanger to hide from them. The thugs had injured her badly and she passed out in the hanger. Takeda and Gin were able to get rid of the thugs and Cait healed the girl. But they decided they better leave before more thugs showed up after the girl. Cait did mention that a Hutt was involved somehow in what happened. She didn't go into details. I think she was still trying to find out what exactly happened and why the thugs were after the girl. Oh and Phedra is with her.
Aine looks at Colin.
Well Bright Boy, this was your idea. You just had to talk her into testing your toy, didn't you? What do we do now?
Colin grimaces then gets a guilty, sheepish look.
Then he says to Nick trying to ignore Aine's comment.
Yeah good idea. The only problem is she isn't answering yet. We need to keep trying until she does. If... I mean when she answers she can just tell us where she is.
