Star Wars Dictatorship Rules of Personal Combat
- Any weapons you plan on using, declare them before you duel.
- When posting, post what your character does and not what your opponent does.
- When responding to actions, take all actions against you into account and respond accordingly. If a reaction invalidates any extra actions, tough cookies, you have to include them.
- Force powers are not the end all and be all of dueling, using them appropriately and remember it takes energy to use them. No more than one Force power (defensive or offensive) is to be used per post.
- The maximum number of posts in duel is 10 posts per player; we don't need any long and drawn out fights, 10 is a good number to end it on.
- Dueling threads are not game threads, your actions and outcomes in any duel that takes place in a dueling thread is considered out-of-game.
- NPCs introduced by Staff or into a moderated story-line are to be treated like player characters in terms of posting reactions to attacks and damage. NPCs owned by characters that are registered are likewise to be so regarded. Random red-shirt NPCs introduced by yourself or another general player to discuss with still fall under the "auto-pwn" clause.
