Cait smiles and gives Tenkai a sympathetic look at his comment as the droids drag away what is left of the ship. Isn't it though?
She smiles with a twinkle in her eye at his confused expression when she hands him the credit chip. Yes, it was valuable as scrap metal and only as that. As a ship I would say it was not worth anything. Then or now.
I'm glad you agree, Tenkai. She says in answer to his smile and nod.
True, true. She says in agreement to his hope comment.
She chuckles. I'm glad Gin is taking it in his stride. Though maybe I should do some shopping when I get some free time and send him a few things to add to his wardrobe. That is if I can find anything that large here.
Cait nods in sympathy and understanding. I'm sure you do. I wish I could too. She looks around for a moment. If we were anywhere else I would say go for it but here, no it would not be a good idea too much concrete not enough grass and open ground. Beside the officials would have a fit. I would rather not upset them over something like that. She ends with a small sigh. She then continues with a smile.
Though when we get to the Cousland's estate feel free to do so. They have extensive grounds that you could use. There are lots of gardens, grass, open ground, a lake and even some wooded areas you could roam around free in as long as we are here. As long as you stay on the estate grounds no one will bother you. I know I'm going to take advantage of that and go barefoot as much as possible while I here. She says with a mischevious grin.
Believe me Tenkai the honor is ours. You can stay as long as you wish.

Colin to Tenkai in response to his comment about friends. You're welcome. I would feel privileged to among one of the few. Colin nods at Tenkai's second comment. We will have to talk about it and see what I can come with to supply you with what you need and want. Can't have you going around under armed. That could be dangerous.
Colin chuckles. Well it passes the time and is kind of fun to see how they turn out. I love to fly so building ships seemed like a natural step next step.
In fact Nick shares that particular interest and talent. He has been working on special ship that has just been finished. We are going to see it after he is finished with what he needs to do here. If you come with us you can see it too. I don't think Nick will mind.
Cait shakes her head. I doubt it. He rather proud of it and has been dying to show it off.
Colin to Cait after their exchange. Yep.
Cait seeing Colin's wink to Tenkai shakes her head. Behave little brother or I'll tell Aine on you.
Which just makes Colin grin get bigger as he looks down at his sister. He knows she is only teasing him and he teases her back. No, not that. Anything but that. I'll behave. He says in mock horror raising his hands as if to defend himself but then spoils it by chuckling.
Brat. She says but she is grinning, Why do I put up with you?
Because you love me? He says with a grin as he gives her a hug. Missed you Cait.
Yes, that must be it. She says with a smile as she returns his hug. I missed you too, Col.
Then after their exchange she then says to Tenkai her comment about families.
In response to his comment. Good then we are in agreement on that. She says with a smile. Then seeing his stunned look and the tear in his eye which she wisely pretends not to see so as not to embarass him she says with a warm look in her eyes. Yes, I'm very sure. For long as you wish to be. It seems to me that you need for a change a strong pack to watch your back for you. We will be that for you if you let us.
Colin nods in agreement. Sounds good to me. We could always use more family. I always thought wolves were cool. And being part of pack sounds like a good idea to me.

Cait chuckles. Do that. He should know how it ended. She looks at scrap as it is being dragged away. I would say you came out on top with this deal.
Yes, Gin does seem to do that alright. Did he now? Quite true unless Wookiees wore clothes then he could shop where they did or where Takeda does. She says with a laugh. But I still could try maybe I'll ask Colin he keeps up with things like that for some of his armor projects.
Oh, definitely you need patience here. Cait says with a twinkle in her eye when she sees Tenkai's smirk. Oh, most definitely more trouble than its worth. She then says more seriously. Besides it would dishonor my cousin and his family. She glances at Lucian. And I would not want to do that I have too much respect for them.
I would have to agree with you stretching one's legs sounds wonderful. I think you might have Phedra joining you to do the same thing. There is just not enough room aboard a ship to have a good run or so she tells me. Phedra comes up and sits next to Cait and mews as if in agreement.
If you stick around with us for any length of time you might just a chance to see her in action. Believe me she is not easily impressed. Phedra nods.
Colin to Tenkai. True they can be. But I think in this case you will need the weapons.
Well maybe we can do something about that. That is if you want to learn I can show you a few things about ship contruction or flying.
Cait and Colin exchange glances and they say almost as one. Sure you can come. They both laugh and say Jinx!
Cait then says. We will probably going home on it if I know Nick. He will want to test her out.
Cait lays a hand briefly on Tenkai's arm to let him "feel" the truth of her words and their of the acceptance of him into their family. She is smiling warmly. You're welcome, Tenkai. Or should I say Cousin Tenkai? Good, I look forward to you being around a lot then.
Colin nods in agreement. Me too. Welcome to the family, Cousin.
Cait then says to Tenkai's last comment in just as serious tone of voice.
I know you will, Cousin. And there is no one I think that would do a better job of it than you.

Cait to Lucian. "Yes, Thank the Force. I think I have had enough of eventful to last me awhile." She says somewhat humorously. "You are looking well, Lucian. Where is your wife? I don't see her here. She looks over and sees Nick still talking to Amelia and smiles. I'm glad to see those two are finally talking again. Do we wait for them or go ahead without them?

Thank you, Nick for understanding. Her eyes get big when he says he is going to address the Council then even bigger when he mentions the Oathbreakers. The Oathbreakers are returning?! She squeeks her eyes wide with fright. Oh...NO! You are not going to let them are you? You will make them go away won't you? She clutches his arm but has great faith that Nick can do anything.
When he smiles at her and says,
"Yes, you'll get to see it. Its a prototype ship I've been developing with advanced stealth technology and core drives. Its going to be amazing."
Yay! She says and does a little dance then blushes when she realizes what she just did. I mean I'm glad I get to see it. Trying to act more dignified and grown-up.

~His face lightens as a small smirk reaches it~ “too true even a ship as big as the Wolf is too small for even a light jog, besides I have no idea just how fast I can go got all the knowledge on how to push the limits but no idea of how fast those limits are”
~Tenkai’s smirk returns in full force~ “now that is something I look forward to”
~He looks at coling with slight confusion~ "you say that as if the need is greater than the norm"
"now those are skills that i would love to learn" ~Tapping his head he grins~ "i got a lot of unsorted information up here but i know that those are beyond me"

I hope he got the name of the person so he can go back to them and get more if he needs more clothes. She chuckles at Tenkai's comment about Takeda. Maybe, though I would ask for an extra-small in Kwa size otherwise it might be a little too big even for Gin. Seeing Tenkai, confused look Cait says, Colin makes armor for beings of all sizes and some of them are large as Takeda or larger.
Cait nods. I know you will Tenkai that is why I mentioined it now so you would know. It is hard to know what is considered acceptable behavior in a place if no one bothers to tell you. You will find and have found I'm sure that every place has its own customs and traditions in regards as to what is acceptable. I know you to be honorable and will do what is right in that regard.
I bet. You should hear Phedra on the subject. Cait chuckles. She then says more seriously. Maybe you can test some of those limits while you are here. You will certain have enough room. The Cousland estate is quite big.
Cait looks down at Phedra who has a certain gleam in her eyes. I think Phedra would enjoy it as well.
Colin tilts his head to the side considering what Tenkai said and on seeing his confusion Colin says. In some instances yes but I have a feel for these things. You will need weapons. He smiles and continues. So we might as well get you the ones you want while we are at it. What fun is there in having a weapon you can't stand to use?
Well I can at least show you the basics maybe get you a ship of your own that won't fall apart if you look at it wrong. He puts his hand on his chin for a moment rubbing his chin while he thinks. Something that you can handle on own without too much trouble. But we can discuss that later if you would like.
Cait and Colin grin at each other on seeing Tenkai's confusion at their exchange but surprisingly it is Colin who explains. It is sort of a kid's game one plays when two people say the same thing at the same time. You are suppose say Jinx when you do. Cait adds. When we were kids we believed it warded off bad luck. We have a lot of practice doing it because are twins. That and finishing...
Each other's sentences. Colin says with a grin and Cait chuckles. See what I mean?

Cait chuckles and shakes her head. Now that does sound like something Gin would do. Cait grins. You are probably right about that. Maybe a Kwa child size? Yes, he is that. I hope he is doing alright. I haven't heard from since he said he was going to Dathomir. A momentary worried look crosses her face. She shakes the feeling off and says. Maybe I should worry about the ones on Dathomir instead.
It's not the large ones that are most difficult to do it's the armor for the small ones. She indicates with her hands the size of about 6 inches high.
Colin pipes in with. That's for sure. He shudders. It is hard to see and hard to get tools small enough to get a proper fit.
You're welcome, Tenkai. I thought you might not at least for here. If you want when we get to the estate I get you some datafiles on culture and customs here on Bakura or anywhere else you want. Yes, you can and we will you only have to ask. Cait says.

Phedra gives Tenkai a cat grin. Cait says. I hope so.

Don't worry I won't let you go up until I'm sure you can handle it. That is why I will have you use a simulator to be able to learn how to fly without the danger of killing yourself. And I will definitely find you a ship that will be just right for you and safe.

"Well, I guess its time Amelia. Father's ready for us to go. Let's get this over with." He said and still holding her hand, walks over to Lucian and the others. "I guess its time to address everyone. Yes, Nick told me about that. She glances at Claire then over to Nick and Amelia talking. It would have helped if someone hadn't given Amelia some faulty information in the first place. But I'm glad things have worked out once she got over her embarrassment and Nick figured out what was the problem. Maybe or she just wanted to feel useful.
Cait gives a silent chuckle when Lucian clears throat to get Nick's attention and nods to the Bakur Complex. It becomes a grin when Nick notices and comes over holding Amelia's hand.

You remember Gin, Nick? This is his brother Tenkai. Tenkai will be staying with us for awhile. And oh I have adopted him and Gin into the family they are now our cousins. Long story, I will tell you later all about it. Then more formally she introduces them.

Amelia blushes slightly at Nick's smile and the warm look in his eyes. She clutches his arm when he talks about the Oathbreakers returning and tries to reassure her that everything will be okay.
When talks about the artifact and defeating them he sounds so confident. When he takes her hand gently in his and promises her that he will do everything in his power to stop them and gives her his word. She is reassured because she knows Nick always keeps his word.
She gives him a brillant smile and look of complete confidence in him in her eyes. I know you will, Nick, because you promised. And know you always keep your promises.
Oh! Her eyes get round again with the news about the commission. That's great Nick!
When Nick's father gets his attention and Nick says.
Oh, we better go then. We don't want to keep them waiting this is too important. You will do good, Nick.
Amelia shyly follows him over very aware of Nick still holding her hand.
In answer to Cait, Amelia gives a relieved and warm smile. Hello Cait, it is good to see you again too.
To Colin. Hi Colin. She then blushes at his compliment and stammers. Th..an..k y..ou.
To Tenkai when they are introduced. Hello Tenkai, nice to meet you.

~Looking at Cait after he statement about a visit from Gin he shrugs~ "Com him and make it sound urgent he'll come running and from the opinion he has of you i'd guess fast and armed to the teeth"
~Bitting his tongue just to be safe lest he cause problems Tenkai scans the area taking in every last detail he can silently, before stifling a laugh from colins comment~
~glancing around a second time he takes in everyone noting their features voices anything and everything he can to memory his glowing orange eyes darting around rapidly in the process~
~Smiling at Cait as she starts her introductions Tenkai turns and bows to Nick and Amelia~ "an honor and a pleasure to meet the two of you" ~Standing back up he back popping again he smirks while surpressing the urge to groan~

Cait at first looks surprised at Tenkai's comment then laughs. So he would but I wouldn't want to scare him like that or the people here. I don't want see him that bad I can wait.
As the others talk among themselves after the introduction Cait says to Tenkai sensing something of what he is feeling. It gets better after awhile and we won't be here long. Nick likes to get straight to the point when he gives speeches.
Amelia gives Tenkai a friendly smile when they are introduced. She looks fascinated at his eyes she has never seen anyone with orange eyes before. She looks away before she is caught staring. She sees Claire and they start talking.

Lucian smiles and nods his head. "I'm sure Sonja will be happy to help you while you're here Cait." He looks at his chrono. "Well, if you will all excuse me, I'll head inside and get the council ready. See everyone there." He bows and quietly leaves.

Good. I can use all the help I can get. Shopping is lots of hard work to find just what you need. She says humorously. Of course, Lucian. We will follow you and Nick in.
I thought you might, Nick. Cait chuckles. Gin is rather unforgettable. Oh definitely, Cousin. And I hope you have a couple of hours to spare it is quite a story. Believe me you will want to bring along a snack, maybe some popcorn. She says with a grin.
Lead on, Nick we will be right behind you. Then she and the others follow him into the building. Cait can't help but smile to see Nick still holding Amelia's hand. About time that happened. she thinks pleased.
Amelia looks up at Nick when he says [/color] She squeezes his hand as they walk hand in hand into the building. She is starry eyed at being at his side at this moment.

As they walk into the main complex building and into the council chambers, Nick sees that his father Lucian has gotten the council members quieted down and seated ready for him to speak to them. He leads Amelia to a table designated for them and pulls out a chair for her. He then looks around seeing if he recognizes any of the people gathered and then sees his mother. He smiles and nods his head and waves to her. He then takes his seat as Lucian steps up to the podium on the dais and clears his throat.
"Ladies and gentlemen of the parliament. I have called you all here today to discuss a situation of the utmost importance. As you can currently see, we have distinguished guests with us. Representatives of the Jedi Order. One of our own and my son, Nick Cousland, a Jedi Master and Caitlin Windancer, Grand Master of the Jedi Order, both of who are here to speak to us." He pauses and takes a drink from a glass of water and then continues. "I now turn the floor over to Master Cousland." He nods his head at Nick and steps down off of the dais and takes a seat next to Sonja.
Nick clears his throat and stands up from his seat. Glancing at Cait and then Amelia, he makes his way over to the dais and comes to a stop behind the podium. He looks around at all the concerned faces and then spots Miranda standing near the top of the auditorium. Smirking slightly, he shakes his head and clears his throat, then begins to speak.

Some of you may consider what I am about to speak of merely legend, but I assure you all, they are very real and deadly." Looking at Cait, he nods his head. "The Oathbreakers are coming. We have not discerned the location of their return as of yet, but we will discover it soon. I have recently begun in secret the construction of a new ship that will aid in stopping these ancient foes." He takes a deep breath and then continues. "Warning you all now, this foe is worse and even more deadlier than the feared Sith which now plague the Galaxy. It will be extremely difficult to stop this enemy, but as long as I live and breathe, we will stop them."
Throughout the entire auditorium, the members of the parliament begin talking amongst themselves, murmuring their fears and concerns. Nick stands there feeling everyone's emotions about the ordeal due to his empathy.
Nick glances at Cait and speaking through the Force, he smirks slightly. "Feel free to step up here to add anything that I might've missed there Cousin." He grins slightly.

Cait and the others follow Nick in and take their seats. When Lucian says.
Cait gives Lucian a "thanks a lot look" when he says that she is going to speak to them. I should have told him not to mention that I was here. She thinks belatedly and sighs. And I hate giving speeches.
She listens quietly to Nick as he gives his speech. When Nick looks at her and nods she nods in return. Good speech, Nick. Well done. She thinks.
Amelia smiles up at Nick when he pulls out the chair for her and looks on proudly when his father calls him to the podium and he begins to speak.
The news causes a commotion and the level of fear and concern rises in the room.
Then Cait hears Nick through the Force and sees him smirk as he says.

She answers back through the Force. Ha, ha. Oh very funny, Nick. You know I really hate giving speeches and you are doing fine without me. I don't think you missed anything. But if you insist I will say something but don't expect any long speeches from me.

Nick smirks slightly hearing Cait's voice in his thoughts. "Oops, I forgot about that Cousin. Heh, Grand Master of the Jedi Order and you don't like making speeches? Well, you don't have to talk long, just come and help if you want"
He then clears his throat and continues speaking to the parliament. "What we do know is that no one knows exactly where they are now, and we won't know when they'll show up until its too late and they've struck already."
He can sense the growing fear in the parliament members and continues on, sending out feelings of courage to them. "My father has recently told me that in the catacombs beneath our family estate there is an artifact of tremendous power that could help us in the struggle when the time comes."
He glances at his father and smiles when his father nods his head in confirmation.

Thanks a lot, will I need to get you a reminder application on your datapad now? If you remember it wasn't my idea to be Grand Master that was Luke's idea. But her mind voice is more teasing than upset.
Oh ha, ha. Cait flashes Nick a mental picture of her sticking her tongue out at him and then says. Very funny. I'm a healer not a speaker as you well know. I hate being in charge. I much rather be in the Infirmary helping people than stuck in a office doing paperwork any day. But if you really want up there I will say something.
She shakes her head at his next words because she can feel the fear in the room grow stronger. And as that level of fear rises in the room she quietly gets up and walks up next to him. When he finishes she says If I may say something for a moment?

Nick raises an eyebrow slightly hearing Cait's voice again in his thoughts. "Good point there Cait. I wonder how Luke and Mara are doing. Okay, I hope."
He then chuckles when he sees the mental picture of her tongue sticking out at him. "Well, if you really feal that way Cait, you can always relinquish the duty of Grand Master over to me and you be second in charge." He say with a slight wink at her.
When she stands up and walks over to him he looks at her and nods his head. "But of course Grand Master Windancer. You may address the assembly." He steps to the side and lets her in behind the podium after an approval nod from Lucian.
