So do I, Nick, so do I. Whenever Luke goes off like this he always seems to end up in the middle of something big. Though if there is anyone who could keep him out of trouble its Mara. She gives a mental sigh.
If I could get away with it I would but I promised Luke that I would look after things for him while he was away. And don't tempt me Nick. Besides I couldn't do that to you. You hate paperwork more than I do. She gives a mental chuckle when she sees his wink. Now behave yourself, Cousin, or they will start looking at you funny. She says teasingly.
She waits for him to give her permission to speak and then says.
Thank you, Master Cousland. She then turns to the assembly and says.
It is only natural that this news causes you concern but giving in to fear and panic will not help. Steps are being and have been taken to protect Bakura and other places from this threat.
Master Cousland has mentioned the two of the ways that most closely concern Bakura. There will be others as we learn more. As she speaks Cait broadcasts through the Force a feeling of calm and peace hoping to help them ease their feelings of fear. We will do everything in our power to make sure Bakura is safe and secure. That is why Master Cousland and I are here to insure Bakura is safe from harm by this threat. This is a proactive and preventive step. The best way to stop is a problem to make sure it doesn't start in the first place. Thank you.

While Nick and Cait are standing on the dais talking to the assembly, Claire makes her way down to where Lucian and Sonja are sitting. She sits quietly beside her mother and gives her a gentle hug. "Hello mother. Its good to see you again." She quietly whispers.
Sonja turns to look at Claire and smiles softly. "Hello my darling daughter. I trust your journey here was safe?" She says quietly returning Claire's hug.
Claire smiles and nods her head. "Yes, it was uneventful thankfully. I just had to wait at Nar Shadaa for a few days until Nick and the others arrived. Then we set out at once for here."
Sonja nods her head. "That's good to hear. Well, we better quiet down and listen to your brother speak."
Claire grins and quiets down to look at Nick and Cait.

Nick quietly stands beside Cait and listens to her speaking to the assembly. He closes his eyes slightly and feels that the members of the Parliament have begun to relax and calm down. Breathing out silently, he looks at Cait as she moves off and retakes her seat. Grinning slightly, he nods his head. "Yes, Cait, that was good. See told you that you do give great speeches." He says to her through the Force.
Outloud he says, "Thank you Grand Master for your words of wisdom and strength." He then looks at his father. "Prime Minister Cousland, if there is nothing else to discuss I say we take our leave."
Lucian then stands up and quietly walks over to Nick. He turns to address the council. "Members of Parliament, if there is no other business, you are dismissed to prepare for what may come. Go and be safe everyone."

Cait's eyes twinkle when she sees Nick's grin and smile tugs at her mouth when she hears him speak to her using the Force.
She answers back through the Force with. Thank you, Nick. Just don't expect this as more than a one time thing. She raises an eyebrow at him. I mean it no more roping me into giving anymore speeches.
When he says outloud.
Your'e welcome, Master Cousland. Cait says with a nod.
When Lucian stands up and addresses the council dissmissing them. Cait waits for them to file out and then stands and walks over to the others. She says.
I guess this means we can leave now? So how are going to do this? I take it you want to go back to your estate first, Lucian. She smiles at Sonja. Hello Sonja. Nice to see you again.
Colin follows behind and smiles at Sonja and says Hi.
Phedra prowls around the perimeter.

~leaning back out of view Tenkai watches the speeches as they compounded more questions onto the rapidly growing list, while he knew nothing of what was truely happening it still made his trigger finger twitch.~
~as the speeches end and and the officals leave Tenkai mumbles under his breath~ "why do i feel that i just rolled into something far out of my weight class"
~As Cait and the others begin to move Tenkai pushes himself from the place he was leaning and trailed a distance behind Colin stopping a little ways out and kneels down his eys bouncing around the room cautiously~

Nick looks at Lucian and then back at Cait. "Yes, we'll all head over to the Estate now. Actually, that's where the ship was being built at." He grins slightly.
Sonja smiles softly and nods her head at Cait and Colin. "Hello you two. Its nice to see you both again. Its been a while hasn't it?" She gently hugs both of them.
Lucian looks at them all and nods his head. "Yes, we'll head to the Estate. I've got a transport that can take us all there and it should arrive shortly."

Cait nods to Lucian. Sounds good, Lucian.
Cait looks over at Tenkai and seeing that he looks twitchy motions him over. We are leaving now. Ready to go?

~Standing up Tenkai looks at Cait and nods as he shifts his gear the Sudu'Kem bouncing around in its tied up spot on his packed gear~ "need to find a place to store this stuff or to put it on" ~he mutters quietly enough that only some one truely paying attention would notice and grins at Cait~ "Not to sound offensive but i've been ready since i entered the building"

Cait's sharp hearing picks up Tenaki's mutter.
She returns his grin and says in answer to his second statement. No offense at all and none taken. I much rather be outside myself. We will need to find you a place when we get to the Cousland estate for you to store your things in a safe and secure place. You also need to decide where you want to stay when you get there. You are welcome to stay in the house if you want there is plenty of room. But I think you might be happier staying outside? If so I think we can find you some proper accomdations so you can have some sort of roof over your head and at least stay dry and warm when you sleep.

~Tenkai smirks at Cait~ "good to know and thank you" ~Shifting his gear uncomfortably again knowing that all his weapons were out of his reach and that the way everything was slung was becoming extremely uncomfortable~ "I'm rather looking forward to seeing this estate"
~Looking at her he nods~ "your right on the mark, no matter how nice the place is i would rather be outside for a while"~Tenkai shrugs~ "the roof part would be nice but i can deal with anything"

As they all walk toward the exit to the transport that will take them to the Cousland estate Cait says to Tenkai.
You're welcome and so am I. I haven't been there in a while. But I remember it was very beautiful with lots of open spaces, water and trees.
I don't blame you bit I rather be outside than stuck inside most of the time. I'm sure you can but if I remember right there is a small hunter's hut on the estate that would be perfect for you if its still there and no one is using it. I will have to ask Lucian.
It is in the forest in a clearing. There is fresh water near by it. There is a stream that feeds into the estate's lake plus the lake is not too far away either. Both the stream and the lake are stocked with fish. And there is abundant wildlife and birds around there too. So if you want to hunt or fish that wouldn't be a problem. Though you are welcome to join us at the main house for meals if you want.
It has one main room with a fireplace and lots of windows. The kitchen and sleeping area are all together in the same room.Though there is a small bathroom off the main room. There is a small screened summer porch in the front that can be used for sleeping in warm weather.
But I thought you might want a private place that is all your own while we are here. Where you go to be alone when you want. Being with others can be nice but there are times you just want to be by yourself.
Colin noticing Tenkai's awkward gear arrangement says.
You look like you could use a place to store your gear or a better carrying arrangement. What you got looks like its awkward to carry around with you and you can't get to them if you need them easily. Maybe you need some better harnesses or something?

~Tenkai looks at her with a smirk~ "a small cabin in the forest i like the concept, lets hope that it is avalible"
~now this was news that Tenkai couldn't help but smile to~ "so not only a beautiful enviornment but the capacity to work on becoming well versed with some of the information i retained, though i may have to join you for meals because for the life of us he did not know how to cook thus neighter do i, a serious issue i need to remedy"

~looking at Colin he smirks~ "yeah never got around to making a proper holster system like brother has and the flight in the trash heap only helped to worsen the problem so yes and yes a storage space and a proper harness would be rather nice"

It is very pleasant and I'm looking forward to getting there myself. Cait says with a smile.
I think they use it primarily in the summer when the fishing is good at the lake or for shelter during a storm. Everyone needs a quiet place to escape now and again.
Well, we will see if we can't remedy your lack of cooking skills while you are here at least. Everyone should at least know the basics so they don't starve. Cait says with another smile.
She continues with thoughtful expression.
There are some basic wilderness survival skills that would be useful for you to know if you don't already. How to make a fire and cook something from what you have handy are two that come to mind.
Colin adds. Now that sounds fun. I haven't done that in ages.
Cait laughs. You just want to go fishing Col. Colin grins.
I hope it is too, in fact let me ask Lucian right now. Cait says as she walks over to talk to Lucian about the cabin for Tenkai's use.
Colin says with a thoughtful look. Well you want something snug without being too tight. You want to still be able to move but not have them banging against you unneccesarily. I will see what I can come up with for you. If the cabin is available we can find you a cabinet or something to store your stuff in there. I would have to measure you but I think I can make something that you will like.

As they walk to the exit, Lucian overhears the conversation between Cait and Tenkai. He quietly walks over to them and smiles. "I do believe that very cabin not far from the lake is still vacant and available for use. I can have someone sent over to clean it up for you to use Tenkai. If you accept of course."
Nick moves over to them. "You're going to like the Estate, Tenkai. Its just like Cait said. We've got forests, rivers and a large lake. Plenty of things to do to keep you occupied."
They all exit the Bakur Complex building and Lucian sees the transport shuttle approaching. "Ah, there's our ride. It will take us about fifteen minutes to get to the Estate from here."

Cait nods. Good, I'm ready. Let's go. She gets into the transport. She is followed by the others with Phedra jumping into Cait's lap. After everyone is in the transport it leaves the Bakur Complex for the Cousland estate. Amelia is sitting next to Nick still holding hands. Colin is talking to Tenkai about weapons, armor, equipment and other related things.
